I need information about recalls as soon as they are out. FoodRecallsAlerts does that. I’m flagged by FoodRecallsAlerts instantly. When you or family and friends have allergies or food you purchase weekly are unsafe FoodRecallsAlerts lets me know. I’m so thankful for this free app and the information it provides!

Great to know our government is not paying attention to growing food. Would like to see where this bad food is being grown and who packages it. Information such as repeat offenses. And what caused the poisoning.

This is the only app that does real-time recall alerts well. It’s simple, easy to use, intuitive, and provides the important info in a snapshot as well as the option to view additional details for those that want more info. Sure, I could probably go into the FDA site for recall info, but it doesn’t alert me in the same way and provides way too much info at a glance. This is perfect.

FoodRecallsAlerts is so helpful for keeping people safe in what they eat. I’m so glad I have it with all the recalls going on. Better be safe then sorry, it makes me feel better when feeding my family. Safety in the food supply isn’t that good anymore so this is a must have!

I love that you can set alerts to the kind of recall you’re keeping track of. I only get notifications for recalls involving microbes so that I don’t get inundated with notifications that aren’t relevant to my household. Simple and effective. Great app!

This is the absolute best app to find out about all the recalls. There are so many and almost impossible to keep track of. FoodRecallsAlerts makes it so easy. Love FoodRecallsAlerts and highly recommend to everyone.!

One of the better apps out there, I get notified almost every day about recalled food produce, without this, I would have to count on the news and half the time they don’t report any recalls.

I am totally disgusted with the amount of food products being recalled. Every single day there is a recall and most of them are for deadly bacteria or food NOT Inspected at Port, wth??? Trader Joe’s has the most recalls ever for products they sell!!!
Will never shop there, I had Mexican cheese in my fridge and thank God FoodRecallsAlerts alerted to the Listeria in hundreds of different brands and yup, mine were in the recall. I print off recalls and the items go back to the store and I get my money back.

FoodRecallsAlerts I worth having to find out bout bad things that are in your food , drinks, snacks. Medicines, dog cat foods, anything that you put into your mouth. Having this info when I am in a grocery store , all I need to do is pull it out & see if there’s a bad product on the list , in the store.
Keeps my friends & family safe. As well as others!!!
I want my pets a safe as well & they have that info too!!!

I am sad that there are so many recalls on food products but happy that I have FoodRecallsAlerts and a jump on what is being recalled that could possibly be in my house and just not eaten yet. By the time you see it on the news it’s probably something you have already consumed so I’m thankful I downloaded FoodRecallsAlerts. For a change I’m not complaining about pop up notifications.

I get alerts about recalled products long before it is reported by standard news sources. Sometimes, it is not even reported in the news. I have purchased some products that were recalled. FoodRecallsAlerts gives me the information I need to know what do do about those products. I highly recommend FoodRecallsAlerts.

We often don’t hear about all the issues there are with the foods we eat every day. I love FoodRecallsAlerts in that it protects my family from food borne illness, allergy warnings, etc. also a plus in that it covers items for pets as well which is a grear bonus!

Think of the hundreds of people and machines that handle your food before you prepare and eat it. Yuck. No wonder multiple illnesses all the time. This is good to check when grocery shopping so you can make better decisions and not risk you and your families health in the process. And it’s free! So thank you!

I don’t know if any other way to get food recall information notifications. This is so incredibly helpful. It also provides pictures of the product, lot numbers and states affected.

This is one of the most important apps that I use. It has alerted me to hazards found in our food products. Often, way before I hear about recalls from other sources.

I just got FoodRecallsAlerts and have been looking at recalls! Crazy stuff that I now want to know. Earlier this year there was an outbreak of listeria in cheese! The cheese was in a lot of products, mostly cotija cheese. There are a lot of recalls for food with foreign objects; wood, plastic, stones!, hairnet!!!!!!, shrink wrap!! And parchment paper. There was something labeled unfit for human consumption, goat milk products for baby that is unsafe because it doesn’t have enough nutrition to keep your baby healthy, toxic oleander seeds that people were selling as health food?!!!! And cinnamon with lead and cadmium. Lots of salmonella meat. Makes you want to just stop eating!!!

I was so sick of the emails, but still wanted a way to see alerts on food recalls. I read about the FoodKeeper app, but it’s kind of like an email and takes too long to determine each individual alert. FoodRecallsAlerts, in the other hand, shows the same data, but gives you the brief summary you are looking for, an actual photo of the product, and the a symbol associated with the recall reasoning.

The only downside is that it doesn’t show anything that is under investigation/products that haven’t been forced to recall just yet.

FoodRecallsAlerts has made me feel safer when recalls are sent out because I get the alerts faster unlike the news, I don’t always see it. I don’t see it on social media, all the time etc.. with FoodRecallsAlerts I get notifications basically as soon as they find out and I’ve found recall alerts for foods that I personally eat and have never came across a post about them on social media or seen it on the news until days or weeks later

I really appreciate FoodRecallsAlerts. I have a considerably weak immune system and live in FL, where recently there has been a lot of recalls of food and products that I commonly purchase. Instead of having to do all the research myself like I had been previously or seeing it on the news, I can just come here. They cite reputable sources and they keep up to date with everything. Amazing job!! <3

I find the information very useful though most of it doesn’t apply to me either because I don’t use a large percentage of these products or they are not carried in my local region. I am however throwing my cucumber away thank you for that information.

Latest information on recalled products including pet products..clearly explained and includes where the product(s) were sold..I then know if the recalled items could affect me..

I have COPD, and making safe food choices for myself, I have use FoodRecallsAlerts to avoid food poisoning. Having a compromised immune system, food poisoning would be more severe. So when my daughter in law had her first baby, I shared this site with her. She has used it to avoid certain baby products that would have compromised her newborn’s health.

FoodRecallsAlerts has been a lifesaver. Once I had my baby, I wanted to be sure to steer clear of any recalled products. It has been so helpful and I get a push notification from FoodRecallsAlerts typically before I ever hear about the recall in the news. Protect FoodRecallsAlerts at all costs!!

I really like the notifications. I got a notification while shopping and the effected item hadn’t been removed from the shelf yet! Easy to use. I like the categories and that it includes pet products. Better than the emails and it has the picture of the product right there.

I downloaded FoodRecallsAlerts about a year ago, and i have to state that it is extremely useful as a consumer. When I get an alert, I forward it to my friends, family and colleagues. No hassle and easy to use - it provides the information that pertains to the recall and more.

FoodRecallsAlerts is great if you want to be a able to learn about recent food recalls and safety information. Used to rely on FDA emails for recall information, it was so tedious reading through the emails to get the info I needed. FoodRecallsAlerts send alerts for each recall, so I no longer have to rely on email notifications from the FDA. Highly recommend downloading! It will make your life easier!

FoodRecallsAlerts is great! It gives me the info I need without the sensationalistic news overload. Now I actually have a bit less anxiety because I feel I have a good tool to keep my family and myself safe. The scary news stories just make me want to hide my head in the sand. Finally an app that takes the USDA food recall’s dry reports and presents them in a clear, identifiable, and fun way! It has never been easier to keep track of them and make sure I don’t buy any. The search bar and the pictures are great tools to quickly identify the recalled products and see if I usually buy them or not. Kudos to the team as well who responded amazingly fast to a suggestion I sent them.

I love FoodRecallsAlerts. Never failed I would here part of a recall on the news and then have to go search for the info. Now I turn on my tablet and a notification tells me some thing new. The allergy info is wonderful. My grandson is very allergic to tree nuts. This notified me when a product that does not contain tree nuts was contaminated.
