Most of the time it doesn’t load or says I have no internet connection. My gift cards on it are posted multiple times and I can’t see how much is left on them. It doesn’t let me pay with more than one payment method so I can’t use both gift cards at the same time or a gift card and a second payment method if my gift card doesn’t cover it. It’s frustrating since this is the only way to order now.
Please redesign RookCoffeeApp , it could be much more streamlined. I make the same order all the time and still takes me a ton of clicks (such as choosing “ASAP” every time when you don’t even offer scheduled ordering) when it theory it could be like 2. It crashes frequently, loads slowly, has a bunch of weird formatting,
This is such a simple app and has the potential to be so much better with the help of a competent app developer. I’m guessing you don’t have a software engineer in house at a small company but I’m sure there are better contractors out there than whoever built this.

The UI is very nice looking but you need some help under the hood..
Currently, it takes too many clicks to actually pay for your order. I feel like I am asked twice if I want to pay for it.
Also, it’s great we can now add a gift card but when submitting it - I never knew if it “took”. So I hit submit a few more times and now under the payment option I have my credit card and then my gift card listed 4 times.
Lastly, I don’t know how to choose to have my gift debited and not my credit card. There is no way to determine how to switch between the CC or the GC.
Excited for RookCoffeeApp and I know these kinks will get worked out as everything Rook does is Top Notch!
Estimates for order readiness are wildly inaccurate. I’ve ordered and my coffee has been ready 15 minutes before the estimate, so it sits there getting cold, to 20 minutes after the estimate. There is also no way to cancel an order that is received but not yet processing, for instance if it is 10 minutes after the estimate and still not ready.
My favorite thing in life is Rook coffee, tragically my least favorite thing is the 14 steps that are required to select an order and then pay for it. I’m living in a first world nightmare, please help! Less steps! Plz remove those multiple payment re-confirmations! Love you forever.
App works well. Great to be able to get my favorite coffee.
Can’t order dark roast cold brew you have to make sure you put it under special instructions.
Also purchased a gift card to use in RookCoffeeApp but can’t see remaining balance after you use it.
You can’t use the whole gift card either.
Can’t wait for things to get back to normal.
Don’t get me wrong I’ve been going to rook for years now and I love the coffee! I’ll never go anywhere else again. But, RookCoffeeApp is confusing, and your new rewards system isn’t equivalent to your old system. I have to buy more coffees to get a reward for a cold brew than a hot coffee? It’s annoying to say the least.
When I was connected to WiFi RookCoffeeApp worked just as it should, but when not connected to WiFi I just kept getting the spinning ring of doom when I tried to sign into my account, which is required at checkout. I understand this might sound like it’s just an issue with my cell service, but I was able to delete and re-download RookCoffeeApp several times with no issue and up until I had to sign into my account everything worked fine.
Also there is no option for “no milk” which I find strange
I love the layout and ease of picking menu options. My suggestions for improvement: it takes over 5 clicks from start to finish and 3 are just to confirm payment alone. More streamlining perhaps?
Also, the rewards system rounds down so my purchase of $2.80 every day only gives me a net 2 reward points. Compared to your old buy 10, get 1 free, now I have to purchase 20 drinks to get 1 free hot coffee.. which is a very large discrepancy. Please reconsider the reward system and how your loyal customers accrue points.

Reordering should be easier - I used to simply copy/paste/send my text in order now it takes so many clicks to submit the same order to the same location every day.
RookCoffeeApp is great and easy to use.
Feedback suggestions: menu: provide descriptions of the items as you’re ordering. Be able to pick a future time (ASAP was the only option).
When we got there to pick up (20 mins after placing the order) the location didn’t have the order. So there must be a miscommunication somewhere along the line.
Easy to use. They update RookCoffeeApp as they go. I really wish they gift cards would show their remaining balance on RookCoffeeApp . And to be able to use multiple gift cards at once for payment.
Rook was already killing it, but RookCoffeeApp makes it so much easier and quicker to order! Easy to use and so many options on RookCoffeeApp .
Easy to navigate, customizable, tip option, everything you need! No complaints! I am so happy there is an app for online ordering now.
It’s a great app and makes it so easy to order ahead now. I just wish there was an option for no milk in the cold brew section. There’s one for hot coffee but not one for cold brew.
We’ve been using RookCoffeeApp a lot since quarantine and it works great! Also if you buy 10 you get 1 free which is a super great feature that I just learned about! Thanks Rook!
Love RookCoffeeApp , it’s so easy to use. Rook is our favorite coffee, we get it for home as well as when we’re out near one of the locations. The only thing that would make it better is if we had a store near us in East Brunswick!
I've been waiting so long for RookCoffeeApp to come out! It's much easier than texting orders in. I love how user friendly it is and how it has pictures of the types of coffee.

Very excited to have an AP! Tipping option is awesome. Love the points program does that make my incomplete rewards card obsolete? Please add a “no milk” option for the cold brew drop downs. Had to select a milk to complete the order and then add “no milk” to comments section. “Extra Ice” might also be another option worth adding.
After years, Rook finally has an app!! The only suggestion I would give is to add an Apple Pay option and gift card option! But otherwise, perfect! So happy!

Forget Starbucks and Dunkin. Rook has the strongest, tastiest coffee on the Jersey shore. My go-to order is the NOLA cold brew ❤️
