Instructions could be more detailed. If you are having trouble activating, turn off your WiFi to activate when scanning. I turned off my WiFi settings and it started working instantly, without scanning.
When you hit star seeking, it will do a Bluetooth search, phone must be on the telescope for it to work and connect to Bluetooth.

If your having problems contact ARTelescope3L developer they will help and are very responsive. If having network failed error try a public wifi hotspot when you activate.

Can’t really use ARTelescope3L if it crashes every time I have to reorient my phone. Other than this id say it’s great app and very good idea. telescope itself is pretty good too.

Just another disappointment of a product. Assembly instructions are useless, panhandle isn’t even threaded so it’s useless, 3D assembly instructions are for a completely different telescope. Can we purchase something that isn’t junk today?

As a consumer, all you want is for things to work. Of course the QR scanner doesn’t work so ARTelescope3L is useless and I expect we’ll have a disappointed 9 yr old on Christmas.

Garbage app and junk telescope. ARTelescope3L is telling me the moon is southwest when it is southeast. I’m in EST at 9pm at night the moon doesn’t hit the direction until 6-7AM! What do you expect for Chinese software and equipment… don’t waste your time

Cannot get the activation to register, it just keeps scanning. Something to do with ARTelescope3L . Tried on two different iPhones. The telescope works good though..

The chat function is useless and the voicemail box for support is full.

The QR scanner won’t work so this is essentially useless.

This is essentially pointless 0 stars. There is no WR Scanner!!!!

Activation code does not work. Therefore, there is no functionality with this application

Great other than the fact that it was a little laggy when scanning the QR code. Eventually worked though. Other than that it works great!

Unable to scan activation code.

Doesn’t let you scan the activation code. Just keeps acting like it’s scanning but nothing happens, wether you zoom in or out.

So there is no need to use QR CODE. Just type in apple App Store or google ar telescope 3l. It should pop up and just download it. Then when you get to app allow access to everything and when you get to point where need to connect to Bluetooth turn off your WiFi with Bluetooth on and have it inside telescope phone holder so blue light is blinking. Should work after. Hope this helps everyone.

I can’t find the so called activation code someone help me?

Tech Support says ARTelescope3L isn’t working on iPhone currently because of an issue with their server. They say it will be fixed in their next version.

You can’t get past the point where you try to scan the activation code, so can’t use ARTelescope3L .

Luckily, you can use other apps that look at stars to get a close enough approximation of what you’re trying to look at with the telescope.

Hard to find any illustrated instruction. No way to use the activation code. Would definitely not recommend this telescope.

Unable to scan the activation code provided. No support from the company beyond a chat robot that either says,”Unable to understand...” or “Pleasure to help” when you try to talk to it. Button for human rep just kicks you out of the chat. Sigh.
