Hi, I set up my work email server to send and receive through hey email which worked for a time, problem is the SMTP server has stopped working on both sides, so I contacted them. Any advice from your side about this would help.. Ive received the following response from our work SMPT hosts: Pretty much all Email servers have protection against distributed login attacks these days. Hackers attempt to login to your Email account to send mail from lots of different IP's - its also called a "botnet attack". Our system - or any other good systems have protection from this type of attack. The issue with your hey.com account is that when it attempts to send mail through our system - or connect to our system, it is using a different IP address every time and as such it is mimicking the same kind of attack you might see from a hacker trying to gain access to your account. In a short space of time, the following IP's all attempted to access your account... 66.111.4.228 (US/United States/auth2-smtp.messagingengine.com) 3.226.19.120 (US/United States/ec2-3-226-19-120.compute-1.amazonaws.com) 54.165.157.90 (US/United States/ec2-54-165-157-90.compute-1.amazonaws.com) 3.215.216.205 (US/United States/ec2-3-215-216-205.compute-1.amazonaws.com) 3.213.180.57 (US/United States/ec2-3-213-180-57.compute-1.amazonaws.com) And so the security software on the server reacted and blocked access. In short, you won't be able to use that sort of distributed system to access your Email with us."

With HEY, just click the “Reply Later” button to move an email to a dedicated ‘Reply Later’ pile at the bottom of the screen so you don’t lose or forget it. With HEY, you can send those types of emails to The Paper Trail where they'll be out of your way, but easy to find when you need them. HEY push notifications are off by default so your phone doesn’t steal your attention every time an inconsequential email hits your inbox. If you don’t start the thread, you're often stuck with other people’s generic, non-descriptive email subjects. HEY replaces workarounds, messy hacks, and daily frustrations, with built-in workflows, effortless organization, and clever features that levels-up email in meaningful ways. Sometimes you get emails you need to reference later - travel info, handy links, numbers you need, etc. With HEY, you can 'Set Aside' any email in a neat little pile for easy access whenever you need it. This means no matter how many emails they send you, they'll only take up a single row in your Inbox. With HEY, you can open multiple emails at once and just scroll though them, just like you would a newsfeed. Many companies track which emails you open, how often you open them, and even where you were when you opened them. Some emails turn into lunches or calls or video conferences. If you’re looking for an attachment, why should you have to find an email first? That’s backwards. With HEY, new messages are always grouped together at the top, and previously seen emails are always at the bottom. You screen your calls, so why can't you screen your emails? With HEY, you can. This way you keep everything related to the conversation on one page, even if it didn't all happen via email. Stuck on a mega email chain and want off?
