Adorcam worked great initially, but now I can't get it connected to the new wifi service. I finally clicked on "remove device" and the "star" symbol just keeps going round in circles, I can't use it now!
my android and laptop are both set for 2.4 wifi, bur I cannot get the camera to sync. Instead of a slow flashing red light at start up, I see a red and blue flash. I've held down the restart button for 5 seconds to completely turn it off (???) and have then tried the 2-push restart, but I continue to get the red and blue flash. I've set the 2.4 and password for wifi, but nothing happens when I do the camera / QR interface.
Hello, I am using Model A4. The unit fell on the floor & USB was dislodged out of socket position. I cannot see how to open the unit & put USB back in place? Is this possible? Please advise. Thanks .. dc

I have 2 Andorcms that used to work great. Then when we would go to events recorded we starting getting default pictures of a mock livingroom with a real picture on occassion. Now they is not recording ANY events!

I purchased four solar cameras from amazon around September 2022 they were shipped to St Vincent and the Grenadines and in June 2023 some one broke into my house and stole the cameras that I left in a room ,they were never install,I am wondering if there is a way that these cameras can to tracked because they have to use the app to activate them.they were stolen in the Diamond area.
Everytime I walk by my two of my cameras, the alarm goes off. How do I adjust ? I know it is supposed to sound off if I have an intruder, but I am not an intruder. LOL

I don't know if the problem is with the cameras or the App. I purchased these cameras, and they would not work. I kept getting the message, unable to play live video. I had an old phone so I thought my phone might have been the problem. I purchased a new up to date phone reinstalled the cameras and I'm still getting the same message. I see from other comments that I'm not the only one having problems. This is very frustrating.
My A4 Adorcam has a dead battery which will not take a charge. Nor will the camera work if connected to a USB source. I simply want to know if there is a way of opening up the camera to replace the battery.
I have 6 cameras using the Adorcam app. All worked perfectly until a week or so ago. Some of them stopped recording motion events. Sometimes it would send a notice of motion but no recording. There is lots of room on the micro drive and I have reset them to no avail. Now, one of the cameras plays a siren but does not record the event.

If you bought one of there cameras and your now reading the reviews your probably in the same boat I’m in. App don’t work at all. Keep getting bad gateway witch is on there end or app gets timed out. Ether way you could have a great camera but if you can’t use the app to even use it what’s the point. Well after talking to tech support witch was a complete joke cause they have no clue other than telling to uninstall reinstall restart device and no matter what they tell you it don’t work. Well the cameras are junk now cause I smashed them into pieces and threw them in the trash were they belong. If you didn’t buy any yet don’t it’s a complete waist of time and money. A 1 star is as low as this will let me cause I’d give a 0 star
Motion Detection

If you a camera where you can actually see what triggered the motion sensor. DO NOT GET THIS ONE! One of my camera picks up no motion what so ever which is my main camera on the front of my house. I had to bring the one up from the back of my house and it tells me I have a new motion detection every 2 mins and when I go to see what’s there, ITS NOTHING! It lags on capturing whatever made the motion se sir go off. I bought 2 of these and really wish I could get my money back I’m about to just throw these away. I wouldn’t even feel right trying to resell these because of how poorly they have been working!

Can’t even sign up to set up this camera. It’s going back. I’m sick of these cheap cameras being a waste of time. Additional update that I’d like to give it negative stars because, while it may be unfounded, I’m suspicious that it is the reason I’m suddenly getting the same group spam text message daily. I’ve read that it’s based on email addresses sending it to your number. It’s just another company from Shenzhen China so it could be ANY of them behind it, because I did have email issues with that location before.
