I don’t know what the poor reviews are about because Adorcam has been fantastic. At least on my iPhone and iPad. The cameras are super easy to use and to change the settings. I get notifications whenever there’s motion detected. Even if it’s just a bird flying by! I read the instruction manual throughly and played around with the camera settings for about an hour before I understood how things worked. It’s really very simple and clear if you take the time to figure it out, and I contacted support when I didn’t understand something. I am super impressed with how they work and also how quick support has been responding to my questions. The video quality is amazing - daytime and night time. I am very pleased with the quality of these cameras and the price is fantastic. For anyone that has written a poor review, please contact SUPPORT because I’m sure they can help you fix your issues. I realize my glowing review might sound like I work for the company or am getting paid to write this, but I don’t! I got these cameras to help protect myself from an abusive ex. So for me they have been so important and potential lifesaver. It’s also very easy to share the cameras with a friend if needed. Which I have.

I love Adorcam and the camera that came with it. I’ve been using it for about a year now. The motion detection is spot on and the day and night image quality is awesome. I love that it takes and save a photo of every event so that I don’t have to keep an SR card installed to look through events. I use Adorcam to talk to my pets and it’s so cute to watch them from Adorcam . I also love the alarm feature. It gives me a lot of peace of mind that it will alert me if someone of in my backyard and I can turn an alarm on - which is LOUD. I have a Google nest which I paid about triple for AND have a month to subscription for and this camera and app has far exceeded it’s performance in just about every way.

First I want to say I am very impressed with the capabilities of the camera and the iPhone software. This note I just to make a suggestion I think would improve the software.

I have four cameras outside and when I plan to be outside a lot I may remember to disable the motion detection to reduce the number of videos that are generated. But I frequently wish to mark as read only some of the unread videos.

Say I have 15 unread videos and I wish to mark 4 of them as read. So I use the selection mode and select the 4 by clicking the 4 circles in the events page. At that point, the page shows ‘4 selected’ and allows one to click “mark all as read”. I was hoping that would mark only the 4 selected ones read. But it literally marks all as read!

I don’t dare experiment to see if the delete button is equally clueless. 😊

I have been a programmer for over 50 years and the last dozen in GUI development. I think the button should read “mark all selected read” and do just that.

I have other suggestions that I might report in the future if you are interested.

If you bought one of there cameras and your now reading the reviews your probably in the same boat I’m in. App don’t work at all. Keep getting bad gateway witch is on there end or app gets timed out. Ether way you could have a great camera but if you can’t use Adorcam to even use it what’s the point. Well after talking to tech support witch was a complete joke cause they have no clue other than telling to uninstall reinstall restart device and no matter what they tell you it don’t work. Well the cameras are junk now cause I smashed them into pieces and threw them in the trash were they belong. If you didn’t buy any yet don’t it’s a complete waist of time and money. A 1 star is as low as this will let me cause I’d give a 0 star

I would rather have Adorcam than not. That being said, the quality is terrible. The motion settings don’t actually register, I get logged out constantly, and when I view the camera feed Adorcam tells me every 10 seconds (literally) that my wifi signal is low (it’s at 44%). I can’t simply move my router every time I want to view my cameras, so the pop up blocking my feed is pretty unnecessary. Live view works decently and I like the audio functions, but the recording function is buggy at best. I like it for peace of mind while I’m at work but it just feels very cheaply made all around.

I found it to be functional and easy to navigate. Camera setup was easy. I would like to see a couple of additions in the future. It would be nice to be able to declare an orientation for the camera, as not all installations work best for having it mounted straight up and down. For example, I have one upside down. I’d also like to see a scheduler so that I can tell it to alert me during these times, and not others. Currently it just has manual switching for home and away.

I’ve had 2 cameras and Adorcam for a week and was very happy for the first few days. Now it is literally taking 10-45 minutes for Adorcam to notify us of activity. I set off the cameras about 10 times yesterday doing yard work and when I looked the videos were there and I deleted them. Literally 15 minutes later, the notifications came in.

I hope something changes, was very happy that I had outsmarted all of those Ring/Blink etc devices by going non name brand, but now I’m not so sure.

Adorcam, and the cameras are awesome. I set up cameras all around my house. I made sure my WiFi covered the locations and set each camera. I was able to monitor my property from an overseas location via 3G and LTE connection. I was able to get great quality video too. I used the speaker function, but it had a slight delay due to the slow connection, not the cameras or my home WiFi. It was perfect. My home is a fortress now.

App was decent. In some ways there’s more options, in others less. Wish it had:
- a “preview” function like my Ring does, so I could quick see if the alert is anything substantial.
- a quick way to “snooze”. Sometimes kids run out & trip it a lot, my other cams have an option to snooze for 30/60min. This does, but you have to open Adorcam , wait til it connects then do so.
- worst off, passwords are shown clearly, no hashed at all. Very concerned for security on this device if it doesn’t have basic things protected.

Had cameras for several weeks , then one day it logged me out of the account and I haven’t been able to log in. Correct password and log in , it pops up an incorrect format error. Tried logging out and logging back in , no luck. Still get notifications from cameras , just can’t open app to view the videos I’m being notified about

Seems to work well. the only thing is the to speek to the other person you have to hold down the microphone button awhile after your talking other wise it cuts out on the other end. but lots of options it seems. detects motion pretty much instantly. pretty impressed with how it works compared to others I have used.

If you a camera where you can actually see what triggered the motion sensor. DO NOT GET THIS ONE! One of my camera picks up no motion what so ever which is my main camera on the front of my house. I had to bring the one up from the back of my house and it tells me I have a new motion detection every 2 mins and when I go to see what’s there, ITS NOTHING! It lags on capturing whatever made the motion se sir go off. I bought 2 of these and really wish I could get my money back I’m about to just throw these away. I wouldn’t even feel right trying to resell these because of how poorly they have been working!

Unable to get customers support. Had no problems with the camera (I have 3 total). Today I got a notification that someone was at my front door. When I signed into Adorcam I get and error 502 message. I closed out Adorcam . Tried signing out and then back in, same error message. Deleted Adorcam and reinstalled. Same problem. Can anyone from tech support help me?

Can’t even sign up to set up this camera. It’s going back. I’m sick of these cheap cameras being a waste of time. Additional update that I’d like to give it negative stars because, while it may be unfounded, I’m suspicious that it is the reason I’m suddenly getting the same group spam text message daily. I’ve read that it’s based on email addresses sending it to your number. It’s just another company from Shenzhen China so it could be ANY of them behind it, because I did have email issues with that location before.

When I first got Adorcam it worked perfectly. Over the last several weeks it has slowly deteriorated. There is zero and I mean absolutely zero support. Notifications don’t work badges don’t work. You just have to constantly check it to make sure I’m not missing anything. All inquiries have gone on unanswered. My phone and app are up to date. Right now I would not waste my money on this product. Hopefully you read this before you purchase.

Adorcam is awesome. I got a SeeVision camera for ~$50 then set it up with Adorcam. It was easy to set up and had a bunch of features I wasn’t even expecting.

Didn’t encounter any bugs or crashing.

Could it have more features? Sure. But this is a 5-star free app.

Good camera expect it just started to not record pictures. (I don’t have sd so I don’t receive videos) it has just been showing me a blue couch scene so I live chatted with some one and they said it should be fixed within 24hrs because they pushed out a new firmware. Will update whether it works or not.

Adorcam did what I needed it to do for the longest time but now, it just stopped working. It says my login status has expired and I may be logged in with another device. I have never logged in with another device and I have updated Adorcam . Still nothing. My wife is in the same boat. I can not find any tech support for Adorcam either. I’m not sure if there is another app that can run theses cameras or not but if not, then theses cameras are now worthless.

While the display is ok. The functionality of the application is horrific. Often times no notifications, down servers on the developers part, and poor technical service to boot. Price you pay I guess. Other times it can function quite good. Hit or miss

Camera and app kind of worked for a month. Needed frequent reconnecting. Now I can’t get it to do anything. I’ve gone through all the trouble shooting multiple times. Too bad as video quality was good, but if it won’t stay connected there’s no reliability. And now that it won’t function at all, it’s just become a huge time sucking headache. I should have put the $35 towards a more quality system.

I am a 55 y old female, not tech savvy and was able to install 3 cameras and Adorcam to monitor outside our home. I dont agree with the bad reviews. For the price these cameras give me clear video. To cut down on notifications and recording you need to set the motion detection to a desirable level, which in beginning is a little hit or miss. And my sleep function does work sooo. Has to be charged about every 3 months and it will tell you when.
I like seeing my packages delivered and when my yard person shows up. But also when unexpected soliciting or random dog shows up. Very happy with my “cheap priced” surveillance cameras. I feel I got my money’s worth so far

After managing four cameras with Adorcam for a couple of months I’ve grown tired of the hassle. I really wish there was a way to schedule arm/disarm times. I’m sick of turning motion detection on/off for each camera everyday. I often forget to do one or the other. If scheduling is impossible then how about adding some facility to manually turn on/off motion detection for more than one camera at a time? I want all cameras to arm at 8:30 pm and disarm at 6AM. Doing this manually - one camera at a time - every day is a headache. I also find the buttons (home/away/disarmed) do not always take effect and subsequently require resetting. Adorcam is a primitive experience.

I’ve purchased two of the same wireless cameras & I have very little to complain about. One thing I would love to see is a timed option, where I can select a time period to have it in home/disarm mode. I have to manually put it in disarm throughout the day or I’ll have hundreds of motion detections.
Also, it seems to only pick up half of motion detection when it’s dark outside - I leave my house for work at 5:45AM and it doesn’t always catch the :10 process of coming out & locking up. Anyways, for a $60 camera, it’s not bad at all.

I kept a camera on while settling up, so I could look at the live view and decide where to mount the camera. Consequently, I made multiple 10 second videos events. Like 25 of them. No problem, I’ll delete them. Oh….there is a problem, you can only delete one at a time and it takes 17 seconds for each one to delete. Guess I’ll sit here for a while and delete one video at a time. Event “formatting” doesn’t alleviate this. Surely, this can be addressed in the software, but I won’t hold my breath.

bought one in 2021 and second one just last year. worked majority of times without major issues. had to restart few times here and there but always was able to get it to work. last night unable to play live feed. error about my wifi connection. checked my connection on the internet provider app, both cameras shows 100% connected with strong signal, in fact they both show connected with strong signal on the camera app as well but just able to view. it will notify me of motion detection and since i have sd cards i can play the clip but it takes forever to load which previously took couple of seconds. when trying to view live feed it will try to load but ultimately gives me unable to connect. restarted, rebooted. removed both devices to no avail. no two pieces of junk

Adorcam had worked beautifully w/our camera until the last couple of weeks, so after trying everything to no avail, I removed Adorcam to start over. As before doing that, I get an error when I even try to log in, so I’m curious if there’s some kind of issues w/the update, or if it’s something else.

In the past, I’d have given 5 stars, and even complimented the customer service who worked w/me on the phone for almost an hour about a year ago w/a previous issue. Now, I’m bummed & will have to attempt another call.

IOS 15.4.1 rendered Adorcam completely useless for s while. Couldn’t log in ..502 error. It worked on the devices I hadn’t updated yet …how I assumed what issue was. Deleted app, restarted iphone, reset camera, set up again. And finally working again.
Thankfully, after the update for iOS 16, the horizontal full screen is available on iPad again! Hurray.

I love the camera I have and love Adorcam and wish I could have an updated software where I can see more than one camera at once and would like to see a 24 hour replay available and would delete with in a 5 days or so but that what I would like to see added to it if possible just haven’t seen an update since I got camera back in 2021 and app just weird that they don’t like to update at all and just have it the way it is now

I think I’ve had this cam for about a year now and was shocked just now to see these negative reviews. The pictures are so clean and clear day or night. Adorcam is super easy to use, I never ever had any problems with it. The battery last an average of 3 months and I review footages a lot. I’m very satisfied with this purchase. I hope people who are experiencing problems with this camera can have it resolved soon so they can have the good user experience I’m having.

Pros: easy to setup, took about 15min. Easy to review video and save to phone/dropbox/a myriad of destinations. Good quality iimages/videos.
CONs: 1. No time function. you have to manuall engage motion sensitivity. We need to be able to simply schedule active times!. 2. No way to define an area- the entire view is it. 3. motion sensitivity is oddly triggered by street sounds (cars driving by). I have 5 cameras. One is in a corner of backyard to view wildlife. I have sat there on a windkless eve and for the life of me cannot understand what is triggering this! I took the sensitivity down to 20% and it just keeps triggering to record. SO I have 100s of videos to review with NO motion in them every day. UGH

I have three different cameras and three different apps. I have looked at other apps, and every one of them wants you to pay a lot in my mind and Adorcam does not. If you’re on VPN, pause it when you log out or change your Wi-Fi information as you’ll have to log back in, then you can turn your VPN back on and that will fix the issue where it says unknown network error in Adorcam.
