No matter how much light I reduce, I still get false shots. Pistol course: fails for shots I didn't

I installed the Laser Academy app on the Android tablet. It worked fine more than a year. But recently it started failing with the following problem: Steps: Open the app List of drills displayed Select the drill Opens the drill screen with three buttons: distance, Start (disabled), and CLEAR. Also + and - signs are visible. The rest of the screen is black with the word "Calibrating" and hanging on circle rotating indefinitely. Uninstalled and installed the app several times, but the problem persists. Please help.

I am having problems with the recording of hits on the target. Let laser hits the center of the target but the hits are recorded outside of the target area. I have used the app previously and have not had that problem. How can I correct it? Thank you .

app works intermitantly sometimes I can access drills and other times I can't. I just hear a clink and nothing happens. I can't access the courses at all

It stopped recognizing B-27 target & control target? Mantis worked okay for 2 years. Went for help but they new my credit card expired funny how they knew that this was a gift.

more often than not, when i open app and go to training can't get target selection to work.

The app has is not recognizing all the targets. If I put up the control target and 2 others usually one of the target is not found. Also it starts shooting before the app is started. Please advise.

Target needed. iPhone and iPad saying same thing. Put lights near target and it picks up heat. Tried different rooms all over house. Won’t recognize target. Seems like lighting issue. Worked okay till I updated app a few weeks ago. Had issues with lighting before but was always able to get it to work. Not anymore.

I am having the same issue as Mr. Wagoner, where the app reports, TARGET NEEDED, when the target is clearly within 4', and is visualized on my iPad pro 12.9 However, if I tell the app that the target is, for example, a rectangle, it seems to work. But shouldn't the app recognize the target without that step?

Stupid app says target needed even tho there is a target within the view. Tried different ranges, nothing works. Useless if I cannot get it to even see target.

Mantis laser academy iPhone app losing target recognizing . Tried multiple phones same issue.

Finally got the dot torture course without crashing only to get to the hunt target and crashing again!

The app is having some trouble recognizing the targets from distances more that 3 yards, and at under 3 yards some of the targets need to be refocused on with my iPhone 12mini for the app to recognize them. The main issue is that I can’t finish the pistol marksmanship course, I’m on the dot torture and the app closes when I shoot the first shot at number 10. I did reload the app and also logged out doing both several times and different ways, the dot torture course did make it to dot5 once then closed the app, but every time after that it closes on the first shot “dot10”.

Much the same as Larry above. I got full access with the kit and then this. Very impressed when in a session though. Accuracy and recording is excellent. No need for offset at all.

When I open the Laser Academy app to start I get a message that says "No camera permission" . What can I do ? It has worked in the past.

Installed Mantis Laser Academy app on Android smart phone Google Pixel. Opened it, tested Open Shooting - Single Target with my own target (I did not have Smart Targets though I ordered them), it worked. Closed the app them opened again, get the list of functions but could not open any of them. Reinstalled the app. The same thing happened. I was planning to buy the full access to the app, but it does not make any sense if it is working only one time after installation or after restarting the phone.

Camera will not recognize targets.

I also have the problem where the app is stopping when it is loading. Before I reinstalled the app it stopped whenever I tried to do anything in the app.

When I shoot the target the app records the hit in a different spot. A set of detailed instructions would be a great addition to this product, especially considering the price.

It was working great but now all we get is app stopped. This is on two phone. Have unistalled and reinstalled, restarted and still won't stay open or load.

Trying to set up a laser academy. I can't get it to work correctly with my iPhone 13 Max. It will not recognize the targets and the target displays as red. I tried all different light levels but I get the same results. Also the target is very small on the screen. I zoom in the screen but it is still relatively small compared to what the camera zoom can do. I even tried putting the camera about 2 yards away and it still will not fill the screen. At 1/2 yard it seems to do better. Any help would be appreciated.
