How to fix Matter app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Matter app on iPhone
Update Matter app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Matter iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Matter on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Matter network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Matter Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Matter not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Matter App
1. On android, goto Settings » Matter » click [Force Stop]

Update Matter to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Matter App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Matter » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Matter.

Fix Matter unable to contact server/ Matter internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Matter » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Matter » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
