I just downloaded the EZ pass app with the intention to request a new tag for my additional vehicle, but the request tag function does not work. Instead, i get an error message that the server is unavailable. I know that is not so because I was able to add my new vehicle, check my balance and account activity- but could not request a new tag. Even after signing off and back in again, I continue to get the error message - just by selecting the “tags” option.

Ez pass is a bunch of bullies ...I was just in a dispute with them they could care less your situation. I have had a replenishing account for a decade no issues and my bank freezes my account for a fraudulent activity which unknowingly stops my ez pass account from replenishing. Instead of them being considerate of my situation they charge me $700 in fines after I was willingly paying the tolls I didn’t realize wasn’t getting taken out on top of that it’s year with a pandemic and financial issues across the country. But who is not getting affected is ez pass in new jersey they actually raised the tolls. Some people on the phone understood my situation but whenever it got to a manager they where very cut and dry on the amount they were going to charge me with no repayment plan option. One manager was even so rude to hang up with him because I was trying to explain to him my situation and he couldn’t understand why I was upset. Again I think they are bunch of bullys no compassion

Just got the email about NJEZPass and of course downloaded it. I’ve been waiting a long time for this and finally It looks like I won’t need to go Online to the Website anymore. It was so cumbersome and half the time couldn’t log in. I just did a brief walk though of NJEZPass and it seems very easy to navigate and gives you the information you need right at your fingertips. Being that I, and probably most people, use their smart phone these days to check email and everything else this is a blessing. Thanks so much!

How is it that ez pass comes out with an app YEARS late when almost everything has an app?

That alone tells you a lot about the people that run this agency, inefficient id the word.

But the review is about NJEZPass , well, I like NJEZPass , it’s easy to use, not science to it and up to now I have not had any technical issues with it.

The only complaint that I have are two things:

- It automatically turns on parking pay, means that ez pass is also used to pay for parking at airports.

- if you add a credit card, be careful, whatever your threshold is, that’s how much money is going to be withdrawn AUTOMATICALLY without your consent, so don’t add a credit card unless you want them to withdraw money from your card.

You can’t delete the card from NJEZPass or website, you need to call ez pass in order to do that, and we all know how slow and tedious that can be, specially with their customer service that enjoy their job

I’d like to automatically transfer money into my account for a specified amount on a reoccurring basses. This will help keep my account positive and also avoid excessive deductions from my CC. Please do this ! I’m surprised NJ EZ Pass hasn’t been sued for their predatory fees.

Its about time! God their website is horrible to use however NJEZPass makes things a 1000 times easier.
The only feature I was not able to access (yet) on NJEZPass was viewing/paying/disputing a violation. I only hope thats as easy as everything else on NJEZPass is to use.

I’ve used some other apps like this one but this one has worked the best by far! There is another app that seems to be fake but this is the official one from E-ZPass and it allows me to manage my account seamlessly! Looking forward to more updates!!

NJEZPass can mess up and charge you double the amount you’re trying to replenish by. And when you send them a message about it, they never get back to you. Try your best to avoid ez-pass anything

Edit after developer response: I did create a service request on NJEZPass , no one responded. It’s been a month… how about don’t make an app that can charge double the amount you’re trying to replenish

App doesn’t work. Always says service is down. I’ve tried all different days and times always doesn’t work. Just to note I ended up logging in on website instead. Recently Apple Pay has issues. Will not process Apple Pay when using Apple Card but it allowed a different card. Please fix these issues soon. Was great one time now everything is broke.

It is about time there is an app for EZ pass!! Great app!! Has everything you need on the home screen. Able to use Face ID. Glad there is finally an app for quick and easy access to my account!

Overall, not a bad app. Features are the same as the old up but the user interface is redesigned. My only complaints are minor; The server NJ uses for this is way to slow. Probably a political payback to someones relatives.

To be honest I wasn’t expecting much given the state of the website .. however the mobile app is well thought out, clean, and responsive. Great job!

Too slow but at least now it is easily accessible from phone. User friendly and nice look. Make it faster, it will be great.

Ezpass website is trash reserved for the most vile. NJEZPass on the otherhand, looks like it has been made by a thirdparty contractor. And I gotta say, it looks good!

We have two separate accounts and tags. NJEZPass only allows one account to be added. Please update NJEZPass !

I honestly thought they had upgraded to the 21st century & by downloading NJEZPass we could just use it as a tag to move between different cars. It absolutely does not do that. Alls it shows is your activity & billing. All of which for me are automated processes I’ve already set up with them through the website. Deleted NJEZPass .

In plain English I will continue using the Via- mail. It freezes up its horrible I believe Apple doesn’t like NJEZPass. Nothing works I’m tired of putting all my info into NJEZPass. Then nothing works ..,Who’s to say NJEZPass can’t get hijacked too. I’ll use the mail thank you.

Tried to sign up several times for 3 days. It works fine up until the point where it says to select the amount of tags. As soon as I put that amount above zero it tells me the site is unavailable try again later. This also happens on the regular website.

Way after just about everyone has an app for everything, NJ EZ-Pass developers who had enough time to get it right, yet they come out with NJEZPass that’s full of bugs. I have attempted to use NJEZPass many time and always get the error “Server Unavailable, please try again sometime”. This happens every time.

My app was working perfectly fine and then I updated it and when I open NJEZPass now it says that my device is unsupported but my device says is supported according to the description. ( (IPhone XS Max iOS 14.3)

It has happened to me, right in front of my face, and I just cannot hide it.

Been wondering if they was ever GonNa go mobile ... now I gotta try it out and see if it’s working right.

It’s not letting me log in after 3 mins of waiting and I know I have an account online set up already and been using E-ZPASS for a year now. This has to be a bug that can be fixed and maybe once I have access it will get a better rating but for its a bad experience to start off with

I got a notification to download this application. While using to order tag supplies it behaved extremely slow. Need tuning on their part.

App looks clean and really easy to use. Too bad I can’t use it because NJEZPass is constantly crashing and takes forever to log in and when i do finally get logged in, my session expires almost immediately.

Unable to long in, after entering user name and password application session times out. I have attempted multiple times today having the same issue.

Someone could tell me why NJEZPass keeps timing out & when it doesn’t, half NJEZPass doesn’t work!!
I’m using an iPhone Pro Max with iOS 14.4.2.
