My Halo will not charge. I have tried it on different chargers, several outlets, and cleaned the contacts and none of this has worked.

The plastic piece that the band snaps into broke. Is that covered under warranty?

We pay for halo band membership for both our halos and have been for a couple of years. Both bands working, both bands are paid in our membership tab. My husbands band "unclewayne" is working but with limited info, asking him to get membership. OUR MEMBERSHIP IS PAID, he needs to be able to read the sleep data, all of it. I am not paying for computer expertise when the problem is membership. Please advise why we are paying for a service you are not delivering. His band is fully charged, he get minimal reading with info on joining membership. Thanks.

My Halo will not charge. I have tried it on three different charges, several outlets, and cleaned the contacts and none of this has worked.

Disappointed

I’ve had the halo band for seven months now. It’s nothing special, kind of bulky and the back cover for the chip that has contact with your arm fell off. Admittedly I wear it everyday but I am by no means highly active. I walk a normal amount, out of necessity, since I live in NY but I do not partake in any extra activities that would count as exercise therefore it shouldn’t be falling apart. I also stopped sleeping with it on along time back so I wear it through the day and take it off at night. I wanted something to track my steps but I probably would have been better off with something else as this is really not elegant, limited clunky band options, and it falls apart despite not being highly active. Additionally, lately, when I check my activity report, it has me listed as partaking in serious activity when I know I was just sitting on a couch. While it is exciting to be exceeding my daily activity goals it’s sad because I know it’s not accurate. I am sad because I also ordered one for my mom a few months back and now I’m just waiting for it to fall apart. Overall waste of money.

Cool idea, doesn’t work.

Fitness trackers are a fine a dozen. This one is trying real hard to be something unique and original but it falls short. Way short. The step calculator is fairly accurate and seems to get the job done there. On that, it seems like this band is a success. Otherwise, it is not good. There hasn’t been a single night where it measured my sleep completely. For some reason it doesn’t kick in and misses the first 60-90 minutes of sleep every night. It has completely missed a few nights entirely. (The band was powered and positioned properly on my arm, just isn’t performing.) The BMI calc isn’t actually doing anything active, just using a bit of math to smoke-and-mirror its way through magic science. The voice tone meter was amusing at first, but then concerning later, and if I could actually listen to the snippets it was measuring that would make its usefulness outweigh its creepiness. But you can’t listen to the snippets, so it’s just a creepy little feature that doesn’t really give me a way to learn from the findings.

Keeping for now, only for two features

I really want to like the Halo strap. I’ve used the Whoop Strap for a year but didn’t want to keep paying the $30 per month. The Halo strap isn’t near as comfortable. The Halo won’t broadcast HR to external devices or apps like Strava. The battery life is absolutely terrible for the Halo—barely a day. But I may still keep the Halo for the tone tracking. I tend to talk very loudly and become overly animated with my voice so I want to see if the Halo will pickup on that and help me ‘tone’ it down a bit. Also the body scan, the body fat percentage seemed a bit high, at least I hope. But honestly, it would be worth $3.99 a month to do the body scan within the app. I believe a similar scan cost $80 per at a local gym. I really want to like and love the Halo but the battery life has to be fixed. The actually strap needs to be made from softer materials and broadcasting Heart Rate to external devices and apps would be useful. And then, maybe this isn’t for target market, but I’d like to be able to see and track my Heart Rate Variability with the Halo as well.
