I'm using Oilbrush on my M2 Air.

Initially, it let me choose the settings for removing the watermark, and the framing thing. But now when I use it, those sections are locked. I'm subscribed, but when I click restore purchases, it just gives me a big X. When I click on subscribe, it says I've already subscribed and to manage subscriptions in my purchased and subscribed apps settings, like that will help. Well, it doesn't. And the only other option is to go back, where it is still locked. All the important settings changes are still locked and even though it "recognises" that I'm a subscribed user, it also doesn't, forcing me to subscribe, ad nauseaum. In other words I can't use it on my M2 Air anymore like I used to be able to because of a sudden unexplained change. IT is HIGHLY annoying. It might still work on my iPhone, but that severely interupts my creative work flow. I am EXTREMELY unhappy about this. I have a feeling it will do the same, eventually, to other subscrubed users too.

But difficult to edit in spots. My daughter had a shadow it made her have a dark mustache. It won’t allow me to check several photos to order at once. Have to do one at a time, which will cost more shipping. Won’t continue after free trial due to these issues

Really enjoy Oilbrush to create meaningful photos / projects. The new update has glitches and would turn the photos green. Please fix. Thank you.

Double check your order on postcards, make the your picture is centered correctly before proceeding to payment, mine was up sideways view instead of being a straight view of picture

I wish there were a subscription plan for all of their products under one umbrella instead of having to subscribe to each one individually.

I enjoyed the program, but I have BeCasso and I find this app duplicates much of what BeCasso does. There are some meaningful differences and eventually I will probably buy both. I do wish there were some color controls. In both programs. That’s my only reason for four star instead of five.

This is a great app, loaded with lots of options. With some time and effort, you can produce some fairly realistic results. My major complaint is that there’s no way that I know of to save all of the work that you might put in to create your own look. Why in the world you can’t save your own presets makes no sense to me. I really hope they add this feature soon. I will change my rating to 5/5 at that point.

.. but now there is a stupid vignette as a default on all of the new images in the pro version. I don’t want a vignette, I have to turn it off on all of my pictures. 1. Please make an option to change the default setting to not have a vignette. It is really annoying. 2. I also would like to have some of the presets as favorites, so I don’t have to go through all of the settings . 3. It would be nice to have a icon for the presets that actually represents what it would do to the image I am working on

Update: I added and extra star, because the developers kindly contacted me to show me how to set the default for the vignettes to be off. Thank you! Great customer service.

This is the 4th time I am writing this…hopefully it will finally show up.

This is simply the best app I have found for creating “oil painting” looks on your iPhone or iPad. I am using an iPad Pro and Oilbrush works flawlessly. Oilbrush has so many choices of styles that it will be hard for you to decide which one to settle on.

You can even change the type of paper your work is on, refine the picture with several options and even add your own signature on your work.

Plus I had a question and their customer service team responded very fast! Well worth downloading! I highly recommend Oilbrush for use on your own photographs or on fantasy edits.

I have tried at least a dozen apps for creating the oil painting look and NOT ONE had the features I was looking for. I LOVE Oilbrush! When I had a question about background removal they replied in under 24 hours. I’m really impressed by the features and more importantly the service

I’m a big fan of these focused purpose art apps. The controls and options are great and feel polished. The export options and quality are really good.

The sister app Waterbrush is equally good and both are highly recommended and a great value.

I can’t shut up about Oilbrush to my friends and family. It’s so great! We travel a lot and I take more pictures than anyone should - wanted to put them up in my house but it seemed weird…this is the perfect way to do it! Oilbrush turns my photos into art and they look like legit paintings. I am so in love! Thank you for this!!!! My only feedback is I wish when you hit “back” that it didn’t take you back to the beginning of all the albums in your photos (is there a way to bookmark the place where you were if you scrolled way back in the camera roll - and/or preview photos before selecting to edit in Oilbrush ?)

This is the coolest app I’ve used for transforming your personal photos into amazing simulated oil paintings. The tools and options will let you create a true one of a kind piece of ‘phoil’ art.

I love this developer’s apps. This one is my second favorite besides BeCasso. I love the ability to edit so many features. I edit an image for hours, so all the apps combined allow for unique art on my end. I like the automatic filters Oilbrush creates, for the most part. Also, I want to join BETA. I have no way to contact the developer now! Please help! Julia knows me. 😁

Made for the iPhone and iPad and not for my new MacBook Pro but works perfectly. Fabulous results and wonderful features. So happy with my purchase that I tried the other programs by the same developer. It only took a short time to realize there were exactly what I needed. Not too expensive. Great features.. even better results. So I bought 4 of them. I've tried all the featues on without a single error or issue on my MacBook Pro even though it is not supported. I can't recommend this program more highly.

I’m trying out as many photo filters as I can, and I have to say, this app comes out on top. I love how you can access all the filters even when you use it for free, and you can access all the basic editing tools. Of course you have to subscribe to use ALL of them, but if you are fine with that, that’s all you need. I love all the different styles you can use, and the end results are spectacular! I also really like how it has options for ordering it to be printed or be made into a postcard. That’s really neat, too! All in all, fantastic job!😁

I love Oilbrush! It gives you so much variety of filters. I would love it they made a watercolor app too.
