This company is a huge scam! Don’t waste your time and money trying to finish these challenges. They will steal your money and never return it. The customer service is terrible as well and kept telling me I was harassing her for asking where my money went. She kept on giving me fraudulent info on getting impatient with me. Other people also experienced their money going missing. She ended up blocking me on discord for trying to find out what’s happening.
These corporate robbers feed on people who can’t finish the challenges (what they call losers). For an App that is supposed to encourage fitness they label people as losers and steal their money.
Cadoo is no longer usable with your Strava account. It will not pull your runs from Strava. It also doesn’t show runs on zwift even though I have that paired to this app. I requested a refund and asked to be removed from the challenge I’m currently in and customer service’s response was just to use another app like Fitbit or Wahoo which don’t work with my Stryd foot pod. So, not only do I lose the mileage I’ve already achieved this week I have to change to using my phone to record mileage which isn’t as accurate as the Stryd foot pod. I signed up because they state my platforms would work with their system.
Don’t waste your time and money. Something’s just not right here. After participating in challenges for almost a year, I’ve given the developers ample time to fix the bugs. And yet, there are still glitches. I’ve seen the developers spam other apps including Strava and Waybetter to get more members. They’ve always refunded money if the game is set up wrong. But who has the time and energy to continually follow up with them. The games are pricey and just not profitable. There’s no accountability as to winners or losers. My last game paid out 4 cents. So not worth it!
I checked all my games and now it says coming soon for health and Strava and I have had ZERO upload to any of my games since I did the update. Am I just gonna be out that money for the games since my connections won’t load? I did all the requirements and we are talking between all the games over $100+. The only thing the update actually needed was being able to do direct payout because now you can’t even see your daily progress by step/mile count so you have no idea where you trying are.
I downloaded Cadoo because I thought it was a great concept and a cool idea to motivate people to get fit. While I still think the concept is great, the execution from the company and the way Cadoo works is just not great. It’s very clumsy with a confusing interface and many things are slow to respond. Transferring money in and out of your account I have found to be a nightmare solely because the interface doesn’t work. And the biggest problem I have is even getting into Cadoo . It’s doesn’t save your login which means I have to do it each time I want to check Cadoo but then it doesn’t even let you log in. I have legitimately gotten into Cadoo 3 times in the past 4 weeks and that is not from a lack of trying. Plus it’s not secure. Resetting your password is altogether too easy where you don’t need verification you just need to know the email. So when I’m using an app where I’m spending money yet I’m not able to access that money hardly ever and it feels like anyone could just steal my password at any time I just don’t think I can justify using it. Maybe in the future when some of the bugs are fixed and Cadoo is easier to navigate but not right now.
Cadoo is pretty good. It has more than just walking like all the other apps, so I’m able to motivate myself to do stuff like push ups and sit ups, but sometimes when I do the exercises, they say I did less than I actually did, none at all, or just straight up not count the exercise and I want the option to see the reason. There were multiple times where they wouldn’t count my reps, and that can also be motivation for me to do more, but I want to know why my reps weren’t counted and fix that. It’s pretty frustrating when the work you put in means nothing.
Cadoo has improved tremendously since I last used it, but winnings are really low (which is a good sign that players are sticking to their goals.)
App isn’t intuitive and feels empty. It would also be nice if you could easily see which games you’ve recently won and their stats all in one place instead of having to open each game. It would be nice to be able to have a light feature instead of light words on a dark back ground. It’s a bit hard to see.
This is my second try with Cadoo and I’ve not run into any bugs (last time it had a huge step counting bug.) I’ll try it again but right now I’m just not feeling it.
This is a cool app that has promise but unfortunately between technical glitches and other problems with Cadoo , the turnaround time for messages takes too long. There were two challenges in which my workouts were uploaded but for whatever reason I did not sync. I sent in my message before the challenge was completed but turnaround time took longer than expected and so I was not credited for those challenges. When money is involved in your doing this stuff, I just think turnaround time needs to be factored in and I just don’t think they have enough staff yet.
It probably could, and will, get better in which time I might consider rejoining
I’ve gone through periods using Cadoo, but in general love the concept! It’s still building out more workout styles/movements, but the things that are there are great so far!
As a coach and athlete I‘be noticed that most people need some form of accountability. For those that don’t work with a coach, this is a low-risk “put your money where your mouth is” approach that I can definitely stand behind!
Looking forward to creating challenges and being a part of the community on this app!
I made an account and was so excited to be about of Cadoo. It enrolled me in my first beginner walk and I achieved. Then the next day I go to log in and it says I don’t have an account or it was deleted. And I click forgot password and is says I don’t have an account with this app. I set up pay-pal and added $5 in case Cadoo took my money and ran. So I’m out $5 of my own money and $5 from the challenge I completed. I am very displeased with the service of this app. Come on, you this app better than this…
I found out about Cadoo on Strava from someone who left a comment on one of my runs.
Being able to easily join challenges and win money was what first intrigued me with Cadoo . Little barrier to entry or learning curve.
I kept using this app because I was motivated to run and walk more and I was making more money for doing what I would normally do to keep in shape.
I have been more motivated to get a run in or walk further with friends to get my steps or miles in for this app challenges. I’ve also been able to earn enough money to buy new running shoes and a running stroller for my son from my this app winnings, which has been awesome!
For those newbies, I would say, put in a bit of money and start with small challenges to build your confidence, but work your way up and join a variety of challenges.
this app is a good motivational workout app. After joining their Discord group you truly see the team wants to see everyone succeed. Whether they are fielding app problems as quickly as possible or explaining how to improve your form on various activities. The challenges definitely push you to improve as long as you do not try to cheat the system. I am eager to see the new features and ideas they come out with in the future.
I was introduced to this app about six months ago and I thought it was an interesting concept. I put down some money and entered a competition. I was in the winning group and I almost doubled my money.
The team at this app has been working hard to create a platform that will allow anyone to compete with friends or random people in a variety of athletic challenges. I was skeptical at first, but I have tested it out and it works well and keeps things fair (as distance is tracked through the Strava platform).
Cadoo has improved a lot since I first installed it, which means to me that the developers are interested in creating a product that is fun and easy to use.
There is no better way to hold yourself accountable to your fitness goals than to directly financially invest yourself in them. You can also tailor your experience to your fitness level and desires. Plus, you can make a few bucks doing it! I started out slow and just tested Cadoo but have steadily grown my activity in it as I get more comfortable. 100% recommend to anyone that enjoys fitness!
I enjoy taking challenges on Cadoo. I also create challenges and I’m so obsessed with it. It is very motivating and inspiring. Earning money from the workouts why not? I lost $17 so far and I was so upset for many days. It was because of my vacation time. Oh well… I won more than I lost so I’m happy about it 😁. I convinced couple of my friends as well to join Cadoo . Hope they also enjoy as much as I do!
I joined to see if I could make money doing challenges. It is pretty hard to make any meaningful amount of money. I’ve completed hundreds of challenges. Most of them I just got my money back. When I have made money, it has generally been less than a dollar.
But I have found the league aspect competitive and motivating. I’m now doing more push-ups, sit-ups and squats than I have in years and I’m getting stronger. I don’t even really know the point of the leagues but it is fun to try to move up each week.
I’m an avid runner. I use Cadoo as additional motivation, and earn some money every week. It syncs perfectly with my Garmin 245 watch / Garmin Connect App. Never had any issues. Payments are fast and secure. The challenges are fun and range between easy - difficult; there is a challenge for everyone!
Sign up today you won’t regret it! Tell your friends!
I was previously forced to submit a 1 star review for Cadoo despite greatly enjoying it both in premise and practice.
But they’ve since fixed their payment problems! It takes a couples days still but after seeing legitimate transaction out I couldn’t recommend Cadoo more 👍
I couldn’t be more pleased with being introduced to this app when I did. It’s gotten me to be a lot more diligent abt being healthier and also turned it into a profit center as well! Cadoo is not perfect yet but the staff is super friendly and is quickly updating it and it has already come a long way.
Side note: my family agrees!
This is a truly encouraging app. I first joined in May of 2022 because of a Nick Symmonds Push Up Challenge. Since joining I have lost approximately 25lbs due to the motivating Challenges (The money won also ;)). I encourage those on the fence about Cadoo to just give it a try, you will get hooked. I recommend Cadoo for any stage of fitness, whether a beginner or a fitness freak.
