I used to love Plumbs now I can’t see most of the page. Touch pad(typing pad) does not go down when searching covering most of the page. I carry this in my pocket all day. I don’t want anything bigger. Hope things improve. Okay so it will not work on a pocket device. An iPod is essentially a small phone without phone capabilities so I am assuming the same overplayed screen will appear if I try to use my iPhone. this app handbook was a monster to carry around. The amount of data in this is amazing but now it is unreadable.

I have used the this app app every day as a 4th years student, rotating intern, specialty intern, and now during my residency. Like the last major update, this is a huge step in the wrong direction. This new version is clunky, slow, and makes it harder to find the information that I need. I don’t understand the impetus to update, since the previous versions worked very well. I would strongly urge the development team to go back to the previous version, which was more streamlined and well organized. I don’t see any need for the medication guide in an app, as that is the sort of information better suited for the web-based version. The new monograph is at best the same as the previous version, but the formatting of the font and color makes it less user friendly.

The log in is very spotty across the website and two available apps. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’m sure I’m using the correct login information as I am looking at what is in the actual Plumb’s account to get my user name and password, but some devices say that my credentials are incorrect.

Prefer the layout of the old version. The new version takes away bolded information and is not very eye friendly. The font is small, harder to scroll through pertinent information.

The old app worked nicely with minimal problems. This new app is not as easy to use. I dont think I will pay for this app on the next go around.

I use the this app app every single day in practice, however this update is a big thumbs down. I agree with most of the reviews on ease of use and I’m not convinced busy practicing veterinarians had input on the update. While I was so excited about having a calculator and drug interactions, the execution was poor. I consider myself very tech savvy but cannot even figure out how to easily pull up my notes. I wish they just kept the old version and improved it, hoping they take all of our input into consideration. Otherwise, I might not renew my subscription.

Uggh. I feel like I’m playing where’s Waldo trying to find the links for dosage, dosage forms, etc. Having to scroll through the whole page to find the drug and then returning to the list when you tap on the medication guide instead of the actual drug info is really fun too. Now I feel like it might be quicker just to go back to using my book.

This has made text smaller, multiple screens overlapping when going into your notes and is not possible to remove text box to just view notes in a mono graph. Everything is denser and harder to see. Drop menus get in the way of visualizing a full screen of text on accessory menus.

I want to really like Plumbs however the amount of times it crashes and locks me out is beyond frustrating.

The support for Plumbs seems frustrating. I did not renew on time and now cannot figure out how to renew the subscription or contact support. Love Plumbs . Please reach out to me so I can renew.

I have been using Plumbs for about a year and find it a very valuable resource. It’s handy to have the info at my finger tips and on my phone. The most recent update added some nice features like the drug interaction checker.
My only real problem involves use on an iPad. I have my iPad attached to a magic keyboard in landscape. There are numerous compatibility issues. For instance, the calculator is very small and the “buttons” overlap when on the full screen, but if I open a second app into a split screen, then the calculator enlarges to fill the entire half of the screen and the “buttons” are all fine.
Another frustrating problem is that I don’t get any option to save a note when using the magic keyboard and I cant access the on-screen keyboard from Plumbs . Again, I have to open a second app into a split screen in order to gain access to the on-screen keyboard for the save button to appear.

I especially love the medication guides, calculators, and interaction checker, and Plumbs is beautifully designed. I used the previous version but didn’t take advantage of all the features - now I will definitely be making notes and saving favorites (why are there some drugs I have to look up every single time??).

Plumb’s Veterinary Drugs has been a game changer in giving continual access of drug dosages for my patients, quick reference to contraindications and side effects, and is always available even if I am not in the office. Thank you Plumb’s for helping me take the best care of my patients. ❤️ The drug interaction checker is phenomenal in treating patients in multiple medications 📱💯.

The new version took a minute to get used to but it’s still easy and streamlined. No issues using it on an iPhone 12 or a pc at work. Love being able to email medication handouts to the clients from Plumbs without sharing my personal contact info.

Really like this improved version with multiple new features (in app calculator, drug interaction checker, ability to easily email medication guides) etc. Type overlaps a bit in large font mode but is apparently being corrected.

Please fix the search capability of this new app. The old app was fully searchable including notes section.
