2 years agoVixer is not letting me download videos to the app or letting me save to the camera roll. Receive the following message 'please wait while your media is being downloaded' and never completes, only gets to 77% and then shuts the app down. Any assistance is appreciated - thanks!

2 years agoHi, My child subscribed to this and I was unable to cancel my subscription before being charged as I was unaware. I don’t need this service for a year, I can’t afford it and would be to be refunded please!

2 years agoI purchased a subscription for vixer and loved it until i went to save a video and all of the spots where i sped up the video lost audio. Why is this app malfunctioning like this? Why cant it just work? I paid $40 for a year and now the app doesnt do what it should do. Im also very mad that i cant contact anyone from vixer for help with this issue.

3 years agoThis app is far more complicated than it should be. It bounces my text all over the place. What should take 5 mins is taking hours. Awful app. Very disappointed. I would like a refund quite honestly.

3 years agoI am strongly requesting a refund for this app. I downloaded it to try out the free trial, and made sure to cancel in the appropriate amount of time. Yet, I have a change for 42$ in my bank account THAT I DID NOT APPROVE. I would like to speak with someone about this immediately!

3 years agoI took this app as a free trial period on Thursday pm (around 8pm GMT). It’s now Sunday afternoon (3.30pm GMT). I’ve gone to cancel the trial and it’s already gone onto an annual subscription! I am with my 3 days and should not have to pay. Please issue a refund ASAP.

3 years agoI TOTALLY disagree with what you've said. Your not understanding my point. They took - you took an annual subscription from my bank account before my 3 day free trial had ended, You took it on the 2nd day. I had 3 days to decide whether to keep using the app and it was only on the 3rd day or after you could take the money. I decided on the end of the 2nd day not to keep the app and to not continue using it, nor pay any monthly or annual subscription. They advertised the app stating that you could use it for 3 days FREE of charge to see if you liked it and then after 3 days you either automatically pay a monthly or annual subscription or leave. The APP is Vixer - video editor & maker APP This is outside of their legal agreement and unlawful .

3 years agoHello, I downloaded this app for video making, and they charged me after two days of using it. I never meant to be subscribed and the cost of the app it very pricey. During this hard time, I am struggling with expenses, I lost my job with COVID 19, I really can’t afford paying this subscription. It is the last time I will be using this app. If someone can issue a refund for me it would be greatly appreciated. It is not an easy time for anyone right now. This just adds to it. 3 years agoI deleted the app before the renewal date but I had no idea what time it was of the day if would renew. Which happened during the middle of the day. And I am so sad I didn’t even use the app now I unsubscribed but the money has been taken out of my account. I really want to speak to someone about a refund please.

3 years agoMy free period came to an end and it’s subscribed me to a year when I didn’t agree to that!!! I didn’t even get a choice to subscribe to monthly instead which I would have chosen. I want to cancel it all.

Frustrating Limitations
This could be my favorite app, but I find it can frustrate me when it is controlling and limiting. I really hate it deciding too much impinging on my design freedom at times. Some features I did find that I didn’t find intuitively enough at first. Mainly I wanted to keep my ratios and have a simple app to use instead of iMovie, because I wanted to post illustraton videos to Instagram. But simple doesn’t mean I want to loose control of my options. If this had more user controlled options it would be much better. I might cancel my subscription and look for something else. It really bothered me feeling pressured to purchase too fast too, just to be able to try it. If it is well made it shouldn’t be like that, give me space and then if it does it’s job I will get it. That forceful public relations feel made me feel repelled and got me to regret buying this. It made me feel like I lost trust in the creators’ intentions.

Good app. Needs more options though.
Good application. Pretty easy to use. Quality of movie stays good even when uploaded into Facebook, definitely a plus! A few things I would have loved is to allow users to extract just the sounds from another video. Needs an extraction option. More than one song to a video. Have the music continue on its own even after the song ends, had to add same song again & again hoping it wouldn’t sound choppy. Music kind of didn’t go together as smooth as other apps on this part, usually the music just continues. Option to have music continue. Crop option needed to be better too, it was kind of odd because I could only crop dragging the angles & not crop from sides as well. Adding animations to text. Adding text to a picture, I was only able to do it on one picture and it was on the first picture in video. This part I wasn’t sure if I was doing it right, maybe that’s why I couldn’t get a different text on a different picture later on in the video. Adding text to a picture later or whenever during a movie has always been easy in other apps. This one no matter how many times I tried, text only appeared on the first picture. Besides these in capabilities, I really liked it. If it had those options I had previously mentioned, I would have bought the year subscription because overall good, but a bit limited at the moment.

love this app!
really user friendly, I use it to make reels and short clips. There are options to trim/cut videos, speed or slow down, and adjust the volume. however, you do have to pay for more options like adding more than one vid together. for audio, you either have to purchase the song already or you can convert and upload your own. Sometimes I prefer to just make the video and add audio from insta for my reels. the only things I feel like can be improved is that when clips are sped up or slowed down, the audio disappears. sometimes I want to speed up a clip but keep the audio (for unboxing vids etc) and it’s not possible. Another thing is that I recently switched phones and I realized the vids I made on vixer from my previous phone didn’t save/transfer over. vixer doesn’t really have acct set up or anything where it could do that so I was a little bummed out I need to export and then transfer my videos or redo vids that I haven’t finished editing yet. overall i enjoy using this app and it wasn’t hard to learn everything. I will say that the price is a little steep so it is a factor in whether I will continue to use it or not. if you are looking to learn making/editing videos, I think vixer is a good place to start!
