AccuLynx Field Reviews

This updated version of app makes you force close it and relaunch if you want to search a new job. I can close the current job and search the new one, but it will not allow you to open the new file. So now you have to force close it and relaunch AccuLynxField . This makes it where I have to force close AccuLynxField appx. 20 times a day. Extremely inefficient. Also, uploading photos to jobs with the updated version adds 2-3 extra steps as opposed to the last version. I don’t see how this is supposed to be better when everything requires extra steps which requires more time which means I’m making less money since I’m spending more time on AccuLynxField now then in previously. I waited approximately a month to make a review thinking that they would have resolved these issues by now. But nope.

I've spent half the day trying to figure out the new communications bar and was a waste of valuable time when I could've been working with customers. I absolutely hate it. I can't find any of my old messages. I have to open each individual one to see if that's the one I was messaging in. When coworkers send me messages and I replied back to them, I also end up replying back to myself and get a new email which means twice as many emails. It's ridiculous. Just get rid of it and go back to the message, if it's not broke don't fix it. Also I don't need my phone calls recorded. 🙄🙄

Here's an idea, put the message bar back in its original location and put the communication bar down below so people who want to use it can still use it but people who like the messages can use it effectively without change.

With the update of AccuLynxField to New and improved “ the developers have effectively broken AccuLynxField . What seems snappier and a smoother UI, is now about useless compared to the previous app. Uploading photos and documents from native apps no longer work, or even show up as an option to access from anymore. When I try to upload job photos from AccuLynxField itself, I select the pictures and folder to upload to, but nothing ever uploads. On AccuLynxField landing page, I am hit with all the failed upload attempts. When I hit retry, nothing works.
I’m uninstalling AccuLynxField and going back to the original.

I had the old app as well as the new app. I used them for different things at different times for different reasons. Both had ups and downs but now I can’t use the old app I’m only left with AccuLynxField that isn’t as easy to navigate and takes FOREVER TO LOAD. I’m constantly having technical problems. When I try to update my leads it won’t save. It’s embarrassing and makes me look unprofessional when I’m trying to show homeowners the pictures of the hail damage and all that shows up on my phone is the loading symbol in the middle of my screen. It sometimes takes up to 5 minutes! I’m highly dissatisfied. Wish I could use both apps like I did before. It was much more useful.

It seems like the only reason they made AccuLynxField was to say WE HAVE AN APP! They made it for marketing purposes. So now they tap-dance around the truth of how pointless AccuLynxField is for legitimate day in and day out use for a busy project manager. It’s basically an app to store pics and pics of documents. And you can alter simple data on main project details. That’s it. You’re much better off just using your laptop in the field, since you can’t even write a simple estimate or create a simple invoice with it! Totally insincere and worthless, I would give AccuLynxField zero stars if it were possible. Plus, it crashes constantly. Absolutely the worst app ever for project managers. It’s pure, deceitful marketing garbage.

AccuLynxField IS COMPLETELY USLESS IF YOU CAN’T UPLOAD PHOTOS IN REAL TIME ON SITE!!!!
With the old app we would upload over a hundred photos per project on site directly to that project. Uploading pics later or only uploading 50 at a time is NOT good enough to stay organized for documentation, production, and protection of the company during and after construction. And don’t tell me to email your support, just fix it or dump AccuLynxField and we can continue with the old app.

Question, is acculynx keeping the old version or will that soon be unsupported?? And if so when, because we may need to go elsewhere to stay professionally organized with a different field app. Thanks in advance for your answer

Acculinx should be great. Should make organization easier and especially if there are multiple people coordinating on a project. When it works, it’s a must have. However I’ve been using this software, for 2 years. There is always something wrong with AccuLynxField . One week I can’t log in, And have to upload through google. Now recently, the photos won’t even upload for each Job. Acculinx fix your software. There’s always something that doesn’t work

As a new user, it is very frustrating to have desktop availabilities, or browser login on phone capabilities that are nowhere to be seen on the iPhone App. Things as simple as being able to create a reminder… For a specific day and time as opposed to task, which is only tied to a day.

And to not allow me to create an estimate in the field on the spot in AccuLynxField ?basic functionality missing in AccuLynxField . Why not just drive everyone to the browser version instead of wasting resources on AccuLynxField itself?

Further, AccuLynxField shows my appointment title as “Initial Appointment” - which cannot be edited. Sometimes my initial appointment occurs before I put someone in AccuLynx. When I modify the title in the browser, it stays modified on my calendar sink, but in AccuLynxField it still shows “initial appointment”. there are too many weird dissimilarities between AccuLynxField and the browser, it’s almost like there are two groups developing independently and there is no continuity of UX / UI.

The new app is an improvement over the old app. Being able to rename documents has been helpful. I would only suggest adding the capitalization as a capability.

There should be an option to custom tag photos rather than the limited options. Also, a more robust photo option would be tremendously useful. Such as, being able to group photos based on elevation and being able to send them in a package as such to adjusters so that they are easy to decipher.

I really appreciate that acculynx allows you to suggest new features and different options that would help your business. They really listen and have actually implemented some of the things our business has suggested. Not many companies do that! The field app makes things easier for our guys and is pretty user friendly.. even for some of our technologically challenged guys ;)

AccuLynxField is good. The updates have made significant improvements in the overall user experience. Ability to see the activity feed etc is helpful for use on the go. I still have to use the website for a lot of things though which I find frustrating. I have a hard time downloading estimates from my phone etc. but overall, good experience and I’m sure they will continue to improve!

As an estimator/salesman I rely heavily on AccuLynxField. I do appreciate it more than the previous version. One thing I wish would be integrated into AccuLynxField is the job status in the calendar. For instance when you look at the calendar it would say if that homeowner is a lead, prospect, accepted, completed, invoiced without having to click on the name itself. Other than that, I appreciate AccuLynxField .

Listen up folks, AccuLynxField is a hit, you’re going to need decent phones and some intelligence to operate in the parameters, the AccuLynx team is constantly upgrading updating there equipment servers and versions of AccuLynxField , super solid investment, smart business practices, there’s not much to think about this will allow you to free up time with pesky emailing and free up space to allow your company to flourish. Great choice five star service the Absolute leader for field workers the model can be applied across the board great dashboard view the benefits are better than the average and light years above the rest, keep yourself in the loop on every angle of the process. I heard they’re coming out with an AI feature which will give you even more operating potential. Although some folks prefer the old abacus and rock sketch pad over here were on the wave 2023 AL is just the beginning.

Our company lives having access to AccuLynx via app. Most of our employees are in the field and it makes it so easy to be able to upload photos, communicate with the office and have financial information with the convention of an app versus having to use a web browser on the phone or bring a laptop. We are very happy with AccuLynx overall!

I absolutely love how AccuLynx Field allows our team to photograph and submit to mages directly from AccuLynxField . I do wish it would allow us to access the wide angle .5 camera available on my iPhone, but maybe in the future! I also LOVE the real time communication thread that keeps our whole team on the same page on each project. I couldn’t more highly recommend.

I have tried many other different applications for my information management. And this one is definitely the best in my opinion. It allows for everyone that needs to be in on this information to see it and have continuous communication during the whole process!! I also love being able too add in other companies like our supplemental companies!!

AccuLynxField has made life so convenient when out and about. It is very functional and perfect for inputting things quickly instead of having to get in front of a computer.

I have had some feedback about some very small bugs within AccuLynxField that I have given to the dev team. They are always gracious to receive the feedback and have fixed some small issues in a timely manner.

I only believe AccuLynxField will continue to improve and is already solid so far!

For any field agent, rep, technician, PM, etc., AccuLynxField is wonderful. I love that I don’t have to email or text myself photos and reports any longer. I just upload straight from my phone to AccuLynx through the field app. Keep making the updates and improvements. For any naysayers, try deleting AccuLynxField and downloading it again. It took me three tries to get it to work, not ideal, but worth the struggle to get this tool in your belt!
