this app has been great for our construction company to be able to communicate in real time with our field personnel. Corporate has weekly meetings and we utilize the website portal to discuss all of our current projects. This has been a huge asset to our staff. However, it eats up a lot of storage on our devices. Needs to redo so it doesn't take so much storage.

Although Fieldlens has all the workings for a great QC and deficiency tracker in construction, it is constantly not working properly. Fieldlens refuses to update posts sometimes, drawings take way to long to load, and many other small issues that make using Fieldlens frustrating. Too often I’ve had to delete and re-download Fieldlens .

Everytime I try to take a pic, it wants to enable the mic. I do not like that and it serves no positive function for my application. It would be my favorite app if not for that excruciatingly annoying feature

General contractors should not use this program. This really takes away from planning a project.

I would love to help design a better user face that would look and work better in the field.

If your a Super, Project Manager, GC this is a must have app and service. For a very fair price this app will manage all your quality control needs. I have used the big softwares that Autodesk and Latista have on the market. Although they are very good, this app has simplified what they do and make it more attractive for my Foreman and Clients. this app is very easy to learn and set up. There was hardly any front end set up. I had my project online within a few hours and all my foreman signed on within a day. The BEST feature about the whole product is their customer support. Every time I have had a question it has been answered in minutes. Literally. There is no ticket submission or emails to send. It's a quick instant message right from Fieldlens to a person at this app. It's better than text messaging. And the people on the other end are construction guys. They understand the industry and have experience with the day to day struggles in the field on a construction site. I can't believe how reliable Fieldlens and the support has been since I joined. If you run work and don't have this app you are behind schedule already. There is no easier way to track manpower, deliveries, Quality Issues, Daily Reporting and Punch List. I'm looking forward to starting my next job with this app from the beginning. I think if I were to invent an app like this it would be exactly what this app already is.

I have been Beta Testing with this app for the past year and have really been impressed about what their team and Fieldlens can do for our team. If you have a need to communicate with your subcontractors, architects, inspectors, owners, etc. instantly then this is Fieldlens to do just that. It only begins there because this app has the ability to do material take offs, safety violations and even your everyday to do list and task to be done list. There are even more abilities coming on the launch date. The feed back from our subcontractors was all good! Instant feedback is everything in this fast moving pace of today's construction industry.
The part of Fieldlens that we took to the limits was the ability to do our punch list and get instant feedback from the field. I have been in the construction business for over 25yrs and I will not do another project with out this app on my iPad or Smartphone.

Fieldlens just makes work a lot easier! Even if you're off site, you can still monitor everything!

this app is an incredibly powerful Project Management tool supported by an eager, talented team.
Our company made this app a compulsory management system at the beginning of the year and it has proved to be invaluable.
We are a medium sized low voltage installation company and even though we have only been using it company wide for a month, we have seen dramatic improvements in how we communicate, manage projects (large and small), monitor onsite issues, evaluate overall performance and generate reports supporting final invoicing.
I have started using the Drawings tool and it is amazing. I can mark up my floor plans, assign each item as a task and our technicians resolve each task as they go, so we can all keep track of each project in real time!

I highly recommend this app to anyone interested in effectively managing a project. As a commercial general contractor, we use this app to streamline and speed up communications between our team and our subcontractors. We all know, in real time, what is happening in the field. this app also provides excellent accountability on unfinished tasks. That's a big plus! It's easy to use even for those technologically-challenged employees and the this app team provides unparalleled customer service! After performing our first punchlist using this app, we were all asking ourselves, "how did we ever live without Fieldlens?!"

I carry my phone instead of a bundle of drawings.
I take pictures or videos of issues (that I can mark up right then) with my phone instead of a digital camera.
I make comments about the issue right into my phone instead of a legal pad.
I pin the issue (linked with the comments and media) to the location on the specific drawing ON MY PHONE (!!!) instead of trying to communicate the location to people via a narrative in an email or meeting on site later.
I can assign the issues to other people/trades while creating the issue on my phone instead of calling/emailing/whatever.
I can track all of this ON MY PHONE instead of trying to keep up with all of this in multiple different formats, conversations, etc.
It has streamlined efficiency, improved accountability, and yielded better results overall.
Also, customer support is incredibly responsive. Huge help! Great app.

Pilgrim Interiors growth is based on using technology in our metal framing and drywall field. When one of my employees pointed out this app in November 2014 we jumped right in. Since then we have grown along with the this app app. As a subcontractor running multiple projects at once, it has allow our team to stay in touch. It's like a Facebook page for every project. Now with the new drawing expansion we have guys pushing aside the paper drawings and using this app app to do layout..! The future in construction communication is here.

Great app for the day to day person who is both in the field and in the office.

Easy to create observations and items while in the field, and then create custom daily reports for the team when you're back in the trailer.

There have been opportunities for improvement over the last few years and this app has done a great job with listening to suggestions to make Fieldlens better. They eagerly welcome feedback and express great enthusiasm to continually make Fieldlens better.

This tool has help me from day one organize and collaborate on tasks that need pictures and markups on prints that are easy to use even by all of our non-techie construction folks, this works for everybody. The reporting and analytics are super easy to use. The support staff have been very helpful and easy to work with, can't say enough about them! Highly recommend

Really useful app that allows us to manage all our projects from our smart phones (big plus is adding photos of job sites). Helped cut down on the back and forth via email and text from everyone, which has been getting out of hand. Keep the updates coming please!

I use this app in the construction industry. I can't begin to tell you how much it has changed everything we do at our job. I was even able to get out old time supers and safety guys to use this app. They can barely turn on a computer! Give the 15 day trial a try. You certainly won't be let down!

Absolutely incredible app. The new update adds so much more in-the-field productivity. Fieldlens has become our go to standard for running all of our projects. I don't know how we got along without this for as long as we have. Well done this app, and thank you!

Fieldlens is superb for on site job management. We can track man power, material ordering, and site situations as well as safety deficiencies. It's a crucial tool for any contractor or sub contractors

Cool app and one of the best I've tried. Also love that there is live people I can talk to through Fieldlens and get help from at almost any time. Good job guys.

Wow, got my afternoon/evening back. Before Fieldlens I would pull into Panera’s crank open the Mac transfer work pics from phone, put into Pages, with all the arrows, and circles to identify all the problems that happened during the day. Then mail out as a PDF to all those needing the info. Of course multiple cups of coffee were consumed at 5:00 pm, which was all wrong, Fieldlens maps your job site, automatically puts the pics in the job folder, along with any tasks, documentation attachments, assigns responsibilities and or duties, from the job site from my Iphone. Then at the end of the day creates a daily report that encompasses all the activities that took place on that particular job, and emails it out to whomever you decide to put on the thread. Basically everything is done from the my phone. So now I am able to have a couple of Black & Tans. Instead of just black coffee.

This release is very buggy, they push updates involuntarily and remove features like sorting search items.
