This is by far the worst banking app in Romania.
1. This is the only banking application that requires a trip to the bank to be activated on a new device. Even on the old app you could enroll a new device using an already enrolled one. What happens if you are abroad and can’t go to the bank?
2. You can no longer make instant transfers, although you could with the old application.
3. There are periods of time when YOUBRD simply do not want to open and is stuck on loading screen.
4. The UI is simple, but not so intuitive.
This will stay in history as one of the most catastrophic and non user friendly app ever. From the convoluted login process, to the +40 bug that only allows users with a Romanian number to use it… there’s just so many issues I don’t even know where to begin. The only answer I got from BRD was “we’re working on it”. Well, good luck and get to work because you have a lot of catching up to do with other banking apps.
Currently, the only phone number format is set for +40 and cannot be overwritten. If you don’t have a Romanian phone number, you can’t register.
De la ultimele update-uri nu mai functioneaza activarea aplicatiei prin sms, dealtfel nici la sediul bancii nu am primit ajutor pentru aceasta problema. Nu se trimit notificari pentru validarea platilor online, nici la transferuri in cont. Am facut reclamatie si la ANPC, dar se pare ca tot degeaba. Astept sa termin creditul la ei si voi scapa cat de repede de serviciile BRD.
