I applied to spark driver back on May or June same time as i did with DoorDash i was approved for DoorDash but i haven't been approved for this one. I heard Spark Driver is good but from what i have seen so far is that i am still in the screening process i don't know how other people been able to get approved if it is this complicated. How long does it take to do a screening process anyways with Doordash it didn't take long at all once the positions were open to apply i think it took like a week or so.

It's giving me a notification of "attention" over the contractual agreements, I go to the documents and they're all good. I try to report the problem with a screenshot and the app doesn't let me put my email address in, the keypad doesn't populate. The number to call just gives an automated message to email customer support but the email address on the automated message isn't correct. I call the spark app number again to talk to live and the voicemail box is full then hangs up on me. I call back and select another option at this point I don't even remember the option number and I got a dude that could barely speak english telling me I had to call a number .. and he only repeated the number I originally called to talk to him. The app also doesn't like me signing on, I put my user name in and it says it's wrong I use the email and it says it's wrong .. I then have to go to create a new one to then be told I have an account already and links me to another page that actually does allow me to log in. I've tried restarting the phone, clearing cache, and re-installing the app and nothing seems to help at this point.

I received a delivery from Walmart that was delivered by an individual employeed by Sparks Delivery. While she was making the delivery in my subdivision she ran a stop sign and was given a $50.00 ticket. The policy here is that when someone enters under your name and has a traffic violation the owner of the residence where the person visits is also ticketed. I won’t be ordering from Walmart again.

Hi, I have been a Spark Driver for about 4 weeks. The first few orders went well. Last Friday I had to wait about 1 hour before I got my order, and yesterday I sat for about 45 minutes, and finally a Walmart employee came out to see what order I was waiting for, and then told me it is not ready, and it was going to be about 1 hour til I got it. At that point I had to cancel. Why does the app tell me order is ready at a certain time, and it is not?. I do not have the time to waste. Also, I have tried to contact DDI for the last 2 weeks and they never answer the phone, and I cannot send message because the voice mail is full. I have tried to call, and email them with no success. I am not getting my pay because I put in the wrong Routing Number for my Bank and need to fix it. Nobody gets back to me. Until I get me previous pay, I cannot take any more deliveries. PLEASE, someone help me!!

I was supposed to receive an order that was being delivered from Walmart on 09/19/2021 at approximately 12:37 pm. The delivery driver was named Gabriel and I never received my order. When I checked the Walmart app it showed the order as delivered and when I tried to check the picture to show proof of delivery it was a black picture. I’ve been a praised driver for Spark after just starting a little over a month ago. I made nearly $300 last Sunday and woke up Monday to my account deactivated. They will not open it back up or tell me why. They have no authority over that info but somehow that’s the only ppl we get to speak with about it. It makes no sense. This is bullcrap everywhere. I have had several issues with the app over the last few days, I’ve made several phone calls with no resolve. I’m very frustrated because right now there is a bonus incentive going on and I feel like every time there’s a bonus incentive this happens and it just seems suspicious to me. But I typically get several offers multiple offers throughout the day and I’m not hardly getting any offers at all. Then I realized that a notification comes through saying that I have an offer to accept but I never get the offer....and that’s happening over and over again. I’ve called multiple times to tell them what’s going on and they keep telling me that offers are not guaranteed. I realize this, that’s not the problem. The problem is I’m getting a notification saying that I have offers to accept and I’m sitting there looking at my screen but the offers never come through and then they say they’ve been accepted by somebody else but I never even had a chance to accept them. This happened last week when I needed 30 deliveries to get $500 and I got 29 deliveries and I didn’t get any more offers after that it’s so frustrating and this week is the same deal, there’s a bonus incentive program today and one for this entire week and it’s the same exact thing. I’ve had one offer actually come through to my phone today. I’m about at the end of my rope here. I’m not sure what else to do but I’ve definitely been cheated out of money I deserved to receive.

The app itself is fairly frustrating. There always seems to be technical issues that makes it near impossible to consistently accept orders. I will say during my time as a driver they did attempt to make improvements on the app, but I won’t be driving for them any longer due to too many missed payments and the tipping system. You get paid weekly and have several outlets to receive payment. However, the pay is not worth it. I took this job as a side job, working 15-20 hours a week and barely made minimum wage. Those in a different location/work different hours might have a different experience. But on more than one occasion I had to file a report for payment discrepancies due to accepting orders at a different rate than what I was paid. Then the tipping system was fine for the first month or so but I went from a near 100% tip rate to almost 0% even when my orders were on time, good metrics with no issues. I find it hard to believe that after delivering to dozens of homes not a single one offered a tip. The most recent app update allows drivers to see pre tips/estimates and no matter what the number always goes down to zero so can’t rely on that at all. The app is said to have an automated system to allot orders based on a round robin system but it seemed the more orders I completed the longer it took to get another offer, so be prepared to wait for hours for only a handful of deliveries.

I have been in constant communication via email with whoever runs the app. I turn the app on and I can literally be sitting in the parking lot of Walmart and it says I have an offer and I have three minutes to clean the offer but within two seconds the offer is gone. I think it is completely horse crap that you get an AR rating based on a first come first serve offer that 99% of the time doesn’t even come across my screen. I have a brand new phone so that can’t be the problem. I accept most of the offers that are sent to me. But the problem is you can never claim any of the offers because they disappear the second they’re sent. I don’t know if somebody’s using a bot but it’s ridiculous and I’m almost to the point I’m about to go to a different delivery platform. I think this first come first serve is ridiculous because if somebody does have a bought then they’re grabbing all of them and not allowing anyone else to do them. They need to do like most of the other platforms have done and actually send the order to a driver and give them the specific amount of time to claim it which they say they do but that’s not happening. Because it disappears within two seconds of it coming up there. I’ve addressed this multiple times with tech-support and have gotten nowhere. Just frustrated and fed up.
