It’s free to use, so that’s good, but you do have to pay in order to remove ads. Besides that, I think everything else with it is fine. Others have said that they could just use their Notes and that this doesn’t do much, but I don’t feel that way. Sure, you could put this all in your personal notes on your phone, but DermieAI helps organize everything by dates and allows photos as well as allows you to list any products or supplements you use, how much water you drank (important for keeping yourself and your skin hydrated) and it also has an option to select if you were currently on your menstrual cycle. That last part is important, because that can usually cause acne and it’s good to keep track of when you may have flare-ups so that you’re prepared. Plus, that can be an additional way to track your period if you wish.

I’m looking for an app that can track my products and routine thoroughly, but DermieAI fell short. This tracker is very simple and just allows you to take photos of your face and keep bullet lists of products. It’s so simple that I can do the exact same on Apple’s Notes.

The feature to browse others’ products in instagram-like feed is also pretty useless. The products shown to me are very obscure and nothing I would ever use.

To me, it just feels like as a self proclaimed ‘skincare’ tracker, this do very little of that. Sure it’s a good tracker but it doesn’t emphasize the skincare part at all. I just don’t think the built in ads (waiting 30 seconds to save an entry) are worth it because I can do the same with Notes or other existing skincare app.

I love that I can view all my past pictures in one screen - it makes it so easy to see how my skin has changed over time! I also love that there are no in-app purchases, and that the ads are only five seconds long.

I’d love for DermieAI to have a general highlighter feature to mark days that we think are important (first day using a new product, cutting out a certain food, or taking a supplement). Would also love for the sleep option to include 9+ hours, and for there to be an “exercise” field (even a check box would be great).

Other than that, love the categories and the cute user interface! Thanks so much for this great app.

I don’t want product recommendations or ads everywhere. I want to log changes in my skin and keep track of what products I’m using. I love the extra health metrics like sleep and water intake! It would be awesome if you guys could take that data from Apple Health so it would sync with my other health apps. But that’s okay, I mainly wanted this for routine tracking.

Also, it would be cool if I could have routines for other times or for other body parts. I want to track what I’m using/improvements in my face and in one other area.

Overall, this is a fantastic app that is better than any of the others in the store!

I really love DermieAI because it’s not here to ask for your credit card or anything it’s just here to help you. There are no in app purchases and i love that about it. It is really simple and is set up really well and user friendly. I highly recommend DermieAI because if you want it can remind you every night to fill in the nightly application and it will remind you to was your face. I know a lot of the time i would forget to wash my face with my acne products but i love DermieAI and i have seen actually no lie, a lot of improvement in my face and i have only been using it for like 2 days!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DermieAI!!!!

DermieAI has been very helpful to organize pictures and notes I’ve taken about my skin. I also like how you can add your products that you use in the log and even rate your products and share them to those who use DermieAI . With this, I was able to try out a new product someone rated and recommended and I wouldn’t have thought to use it. So far it’s been helpful to my skin routine and I can’t wait to see how Cloe evolves over time.

Overall works well to track skincare regimens, diet, sleep, etc. This was one of the few apps that had the majority of the categories I was already tracking in a journal, so I love the convenience of having it on my phone. I also like the simple and clean design.

Unfortunately the graphs are pretty worthless, since they just tell me if I’m good at logging or how consistently I drink water. I’d rather know over time if a particular food or skincare product triggers breakouts, but it doesn’t seem to track patterns.

I like DermieAI and will keep using it, but there is a lot of room for it to grow.

I really like DermieAI. Not only is it great for me to track my own routines and products, to figure out what might be the best regimen for me… It allows me to see what real people are thinking about other products. I can see what they are using and what is working/not working rather than seeing all kinds of glowing commercials that I never know if they are real or not! This is about real people and real products...giving real results! Perfect combination.

I really like DermieAI! I can track my skin to easily show my dermatologist but I’d like to see an option for Picts in the am and pm as my skin changes throughout the day.
I’d also like more options and better tracking for the conditions. For example I can only select dry or irritated.. but not both? And maybe 3 levels of each (light medium heavy) because some days my skin is not super dry but it’s VERY irritated.
But other than those little details I really do like DermieAI.

I like it so far but it is SO annoying that I don’t get a prompt to save an entry when I accidentally tap the X to cancel. I’ve literally had to input the same products on a day three times once because it kept exiting out of the entry before I could save. If I input products for a day, but forget to save or accidentally exit out of the entry, I’d like a prompt to pop up telling me there are unsaved changes and if I’d like to save them.

Add Dark mode

Allow for continuous scrolling from present to past entries

Preload photos so there’s no delay loading photos when swiping to compare photos.

Allow for custom categories for entries. Like true or false sets/values we can set on our own.

Goes along with the recommendation above: Make medications a true/false checklist instead of a text field.

Maybe allow a setting to notify to drink water throughout the day (less important)

Setting that explicitly shows your profile is private

I’m glad I found DermieAI. I’ve been looking for a free app to keep up with my skincare regimen and this is perfect! The interface is cute and simple and easy to get around. There’s a section where you can read reviews from other users on skincare products and it’s really helped me out a lot. Before I found DermieAI I was so lazy about my skin and I look forward to updates and seeing results!

I actually suspect the ads have something to do with it because when I click to save they don’t trigger the ads sometimes and then won’t save the post at all. Also when and ad is triggered there is a X to click out early, after doing that I’m not able to save the entry. Please fix the ad functionality if you’re going to have them on there. Ads should not interfere with the usability of the product. Also, the cost is way too high for this product. This is definitely an app I would pay a one time price of maybe $5 for, but nothing more.

This is a fantastic app! It implements everything I could have needed in a skin tracker. Honestly, this is an app I wish existed a few years ago, but, it’s never too late to start now.

I do have one request, however. Currently, DermieAI contains no in app purchases or subscription. I would LOVE for it to stay that way. For an app like this with such a useful purpose, keeping a price tag off of it is essential.

DermieAI is spectacular!! I’ve been using my notes and camera app as my skin diary to track my skin care routine but this is SOO much better! I love that I can track my diet, which I have been suspecting is the root of my acne. I’ve even shown DermieAI to my dermatologist and she loved it. Since using DermieAI I’ve already found a few random things that trigger my acne (eating mangoes and lobster).

Update: someone responded to my original review right away and the very next day my suggestions were added to DermieAI ! I’m so happy, thank you Cloe team! Amazing customer service and now I love DermieAI even more.

I really love DermieAI but there are a few small tweaks that would make it so much better.

1. Increase the size of the text box for the food section and notes section. Right now it’s just one line so I can’t easily see/read most of what I write.

2. Add the ability to delete products. I used to use a bunch of products that were bad for my skin and have since stopped, but I can’t remove them from my products list.

I was looking for a way to track my skincare overtime & I’m so glad I found cloe! DermieAI lets you add pictures and products so that you can see what is working for you & what is not. So many factors can affect the health of your skin but cloe helps you determine the root cause. I would recommend to anyone interested in health and wellness!

I was a bigger fan of DermieAI before they implemented the product reviews. I am not interested and the fact that it’s the default page/tab when you open DermieAI is annoying. Looking for an app that allows me to test products and see what things may be causing issues with my skin.

I love DermieAI interface because it makes it very straight forward to use. DermieAI has been pretty helpful in tracking my skin progress and I use it quite often! Would definitely recommend you give it a try.

With combination skin, it’s always been a challenge to find products that fix all the weird issues I have. This is a great app with all the great products right at my finger tips! I also love having a simple way to organize my regimen and track the progress as I get my glow back. Love this!

The picture taking portion changed. There are no guides as to where to place your face when taking the pictures like before. Not that what was there before was user friendly either, but I could at least work with it so that in the progress view it looked mostly uniform. Now when I take a picture I realized I have to put part of my face over the text instructions otherwise it will cut off the top part on the view progress thumbnail view and the detail view. View progress sorts by oldest first by default. It’s more convent to see the recent progress first. App crashes when loading progress photos. Calendar view is also buggy.

It looks like they’ve recently switched over to Base. On the old Cloe app you could see your progress all together on one page. That was my favorite feature! It’s why I chose Cloe vs just taking the photos on my phone. I’m not sure why they would take this off. You now have to go in to each individual date, and the photo is now small. Please bring this back. It was extremely useful!

i want to love DermieAI, the concept is great, but for how little data DermieAI uses and how simple it is, it is SO SLOW. and i’m just trying to type in data entries like “drank coffee today” and for some reason it has an INSANE loading time, and often just fails on me and says it could not save. i’ve restarted DermieAI , restarted my phone, and it continues to do this. please fix all the bugs or i’ll just look for a different app.

Why can’t I add my old photos from my camera roll? When I click on the corresponding calendar date to add an entry on an old date it only gives me the option for TODAY. If this could be incorporated that would be great! Just started using DermieAI so can’t rate it much yet.
