Dear Developer(s) of the skin analyzer app:

My customers complain of not being able to take a picture regardless of following the instructions. I had a difficult time myself when trying to get a picture to be analyzed. I was just wondering if there is another way to take the picture. Maybe allow the user of MaryKay to up load a picture to be analyzed or make it so the user can just snap a picture in MaryKay instead of allowing MaryKay to snap the picture automatically. This will help me and my customers a lot. I want to utilize MaryKay to help my customers decide which this app products to purchase. Thanks!

I was skeptical after reading the reviews but it was fun and informative. I was not expecting results that you would get at the doctor so I found it better than expected. I loved the results breakdown with wrinkles identity. You CAN email this to your Consultant or yourself now as some reviewers said it was not available. It was cool to see that my wrinkles changed if I smiled or not. Did not have any issue with lining up my face. I like that you can “start over” but I do wish you could save since you can get different results. Not a game changer though. I mean it is free!

The idea is great, but MaryKay is inaccurate and it’s incredibly hard to position for a photo. I think it would be much better if it let you upload a photo you take yourself outside of MaryKay . Especially for people with glasses who can’t see the screen and why it isn’t working. Finally got the photo after 5 mins only for it to tell me I have wrinkles (which I don’t)and highlight places on my face where I have acne bumps as the “wrinkles”. It also told me I have even skin tone (which I don’t AT ALL - I have quite a few dark spots and a lot of redness on my cheeks etc). Honestly this was a waste of my time and quite a garbage experience.

With a quarantine life style MaryKay allows you to communicate with customers like never before. It can be eye opening when it does highlight and confirm your skin concerns. I do recommend to be in good lighting to obtain the most accurate results. Very new to MaryKay and can’t wait to see how my friends and family like it.

I love MaryKay! It really helps me to know what products to offer to my clients —as well as myself. I use it frequently to check the progress of how products are working. I think it is very helpful when doing the follow up check in with clients to make sure the products are working the way they want them to work.

Love MaryKay, first as a customer and now as a consultant. Two suggestions though: when taking the face scan, allow the user to get proper alignment and click to snap. MaryKay seems to auto-snap too soon sometimes. Second, app should share the actual analysis with consultant, not just the recommended products. It’s a pain having the customer take screenshots of all the pages to send.

I love the convenience of MaryKay! I can put orders together at any time whenever I remember I need more of a certain product on my shelf and then transfer it to in touch and pick up right where I left off whenever I’m ready to finalize it! Just another tool to provide convenience to the salesforce, thank you Mary Kay!

I’ve yet to be able to get MaryKay to take a photo that would work to analyze. Customers are also having issues. As a consultant, this is very frustrating & makes me not want to use what could potentially be a great tool if it actually worked. Also, no clear information as to how to link MaryKay to my website for my customers. Mary Kay, training on this would be incredibly helpful.

How amazing to have the Mary Kay computer tell us what products are right for all of our problem areas on our skin.
It takes great lighting like being outside to get enough light but works amazingly!

Love MaryKay! Makes interacting with my customers very professional. Did notice a glitch today with a younger client. Her wrinkle level was low but it still recommended Timewise products vs clear proof or botanicals. Maybe adding an age selection to better guide the feedback. I think when skin tone issues are above moderate it needs to recommend clear proof.

I was able to see where I needed extra help with my facial skin and the products were suggested that would provide help with the areas that needed attention! Also MaryKay provided the order in which the products should be provided!

Will this be set up for men to use? I have men wanting to use MaryKay to know a regimen but it is only offering for women. I would think adding the option to select sex could open a whole market.

I’d love to see more details like enlarged pores, sagging skin areas, hooded eyes for not only skincare but also for determining makeup recommendations. The system also should pick up on skin type since we may be subjectively thinking we have dry skin when perhaps we really have combination skin. MaryKay also makes too many recommendations so it’s not that fine tuned.

MaryKay is great, it’s so easy to use and manage, besides I never knew all these things about my skin type before. I guess it’s so crazy to me that an app can do all of these things with just a picture of you.

So much easier to use now! The photo is taken so much faster than before. Thank you for the selfie mode! What a help!!! Using it to check my own progress with my skin care 💗

MaryKay has definitely opened up communication with my customers. Now they can see what the products can work on and together we can come up with the best regimen for them!

I love MaryKay! Not only does it show me areas where my skin can improve, it maps it out. There is a downloadable list of suggested products for me to combat the signs of aging, from uneven skin tone to texture, to wrinkles. Thank you for some guidance in a world of skincare questions!

MaryKay was so easy to use! It gave me a plan of attack to help my skin care program to be more specific to my needs. I am excited to build it into a habit after 21 days.

Love MaryKay with only minor issues with having to hold a light aimed at them from the side to correct and also would like to see an age group added to it!

Be sure and fill the oval with your entire face & you get an auto photo, it’s get❗️❗️❗️Don’t take my word for it ❣️ And it’s 100% guaranteed a win-win situation

I’d pay for MaryKay if you could get it to work 90% of the time. It’s an awesome app but I can scan the first person and it works perfectly, then it craps out on everyone else. Even though the lighting, eye alignment & face alignment is on point.

The few times that I’m successful I always get a sale with the recommendations. Sometimes they purchase all the recommended products.

Please fix the bugs,

Love MaryKay, but sometimes it is difficult to get the proper alignment or lighting to activate the photo. Often it requires multiple tries. A couple of times we weren’t able to get MaryKay to take a photo to continue with the analysis. Other than that, MaryKay is great!

I absolutely LOVE how detailed MaryKay is with information on how to better take care of my skin. As well as helping my customers with product recommendations.

What an awesome app to recommend product for our customers and allow them to shop as we meet. They can see real-time results and recommendations.

I had extreme difficulty taking a photo of my friend who is black. We tried outside light, indoor light, bathroom light, etc. but MaryKay would not take the picture. So I tried it on my daughter and it immediately took the photo.

I try to do it on myself, but with out the selfi mode camera or flip is hard to do it... also i did several attempts and a box will pop up saying it didn't work, that i had to do it again, and this was with my husbands help! LOL... but I guess ill give it a try?!.. I just downloaded it...

Hi! I’ve downloaded MaryKay for the first time. It just so happens the 1.4 version just came out 4 days ago. I have an iPhone 6 and IOS 12. This meets the specs for MaryKay. I’m getting a message that the quality of my front facing camera isn’t adequate. Any help would be appreciated because I can’t even get a scan in natural daylight.

The share button does not summarize all of the client’s information. It only sends a potion of one page of suggested products. No meaningful information about the condition of their skin or even just the suggested regimen.

It is very difficult to get the face aligned. Did it yesterday and finally gave to customer who did it looking in a mirror. Great information-when it works.

Consultants should be able to keep their own analysis for longer.

When u try to take your own photos u have todo into a mirror and impossible to see if u have your face and eye lined up. Not personally friend user for the individual.
