If you are looking for standard food delivery, Flytrex is fine. But they frequently cannot deliver by drone due to cold, wind, and even the faintest threat of rain. There are also weight limits. And aircraft maintenance downtimes. None of this will be made obvious or apparent to you at the time you order. You will be strung along for 30-45 minutes and then informed that your order will be delivered by car. On only one of several occasions I was notified at the time I placed my order, and I was issued a this app credit. I used the credit another time for an order of lesser value, and lost the excess credit, being told the credits can only be used on a single future order. It is a cool concept, but the reliability is thus far quite poor, and some of the business practices are incredibly deceptive.

All these places they deliver from are closer than their delivery point, so I have no idea why they can’t approve my backyard. Sent 2 emails to support which went ignored.

Firetrucks never bothered to clear our location despite repeated attempts to contact customer service and waiting many weeks he always just show is pending, despite the fact that we live within their radius and have an easy to deliver to location. I don’t think this is a real app or service. I think they’re probably just trying to get VC funding. Very disappointed.

Customer service is great, but delivery time is unacceptable and they never deliver by drone

I tried to set up service, but I’m not able to scroll down on any of the pages in Flytrex . That prevents me from seeing if there are instructions, options, privacy agreements, etc. that I need to view in order to use Flytrex properly.
I use an iPhone, and I just upgraded to the latest iOS version yesterday. This should work better.
I will update my review and rating if the glitch gets fixed.

It's a nice concept but they need to make improvements in order to get repeat orders. Flytrex has no way to cancel an order and just stays on the Preparing screen forever with no way to get out if it until they actually deliver your stuff. If the place you order from is out of stock you have no way of knowing and are left wondering if your order will be delivered or not. The only way to contact them is via an email address on your receipt. I won't be using the service again until they improve.

My address is not being approved due to being slightly outside of the service distance. Oddly at least two neighbors who live further out were approved. Oddly I watch drones fly over my house and deliver to these other folks, but my house is outside of the range. Okey-dokey. Maybe it’s a numbers thing, but be upfront.

Having used Flytrex a lot and having spent well over 300 dollars through it, its really sad to see the quality of it worsening. My review of its current state: Theres a cheap delivery fee but drone often fails at landing and just flies by for 20 minutes as the technical team tries to fix it. Custom Support is okay, one of the times i ordered I sat around for an hour waiting for the drone, they ended up just refunding me and never giving me my food, having wasted an hour of my time. Really a gamble when you decide to use this app but wouldnt recommend if your in a rush. Writing this after waiting for another hour and thirty to get food cause their drone cant land after two tries.

I just received my order from Panda Express. Delivered to 1022 Anna Circle. I wanted to double check my order to make sure I didn’t accidentally order something by mistake.

My lid wasn’t on good, they didn’t include rice, and no sauces. I’m not asking to be compensated, I just want you to know. We are cheering for you to be the best.

This is such an efficiently to deliver Restaurant orders. No gas wasted in the car. Plus, it’s absolutely fun to watch as the drone comes here, to listen for the sound of the drone and then to watch the drone the food order! It brings out the kid and both of us. That’s not really easy to do since we are both grandparents.

Ordered for the first time and was excited to see the drone drop my delivery. Unfortunately, the weather made that impossible so my food was delivered by courtier. I believe my food would have arrived quicker and warmer if delivered by drone. However, the young man that brought my order was courteous and I’m sure he did everything he could to get it to me as soon as possible. Where the time was originally posted as 25-35 minutes, it took a little bit longer. Will order again but next time will check weather first!

this app is amazing. It is fast convenient and always hot. I use it a couple times a week. It is inexpensive convenient and the food is always hot. this is way better than DoorDash or anything else. this app doesn’t have to worry about traffic, accidents or anything else as it goes through the air. I love the fact that it drops it off, literally in my backyard. The grandkids think it’s the coolest thing ever and so did the neighbors.

If you haven’t used this service & app before you are missing out! So quick and easy even for just two people, we tried it today for the first time and we’re hooked!

Amazing the kids across the street were even amazed yelling. We are in the future. It was so fast. My food is still warm. They gave me a sticker and a water bottle and a nice reusable bag will definitely be ordering here more often.

I have used this app a few times and each time I was pleased with the result. I find the communication to be outstanding between the moment of ordering my food and the moment of delivery. The location accuracy is great as well. The drone team was able to deliver my food while still hot. The time it takes has varied but, it is usually between 15-25 minutes…better or equal to driving to pick it up and bringing it back myself. No need to leave the comfort of home when this app does such a fine job getting my food to me. The drone is fun to watch, too!

We’ve used this app multiple times and food always arrives fast and orders are correct. Superior to DoorDash or any of the other services. Hassle Free and the if there is a weather issue, they communicate quickly and deliver by car. Huge fan!

I just witnessed my first this app’s flight. They just expanded to my area. A rep was there monitoring the delivery. I was amazed!!! It must have been the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait til I place an order. The rep, Trey S. was very knowledgeable and friendly. Looks like he picked up a few more customers.

This is the future of food delivery. I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with a food delivery to my front yard. I was met by employee that gave a safety briefing since it was my first time. The food arrived perfectly packed and hot. Love it!!

We find this awesomely cool. Not only can we have items delivered we also get to watch the drone and be part of something that is not available in very many places.

We’ve ordered multiple times and the service has always been amazing!! So very glad Granbury has this drone delivery available to us. Please support this great company so that they can prosper here!

We have ordered delivery several times and our food always arrives HOT! Very quick! Also if the drone is down, they deliver by car and are super polite, kind and professional. Highly recommend!!!

The cool factor alone gets five stars. My hot food is always hot my ice cream is still perfectly frozen, quick item from Walmart here in no time. If weather is an issue the ground crew brings your order to your door and it’s still all free. What can you ask for

I've always wanted this kind of service and it's incredible that it's actually in the Holly Springs area! I applied on the weekend and got approved on Monday and had my first delivery on the following day. Best service that I could of asked for!

Flytrex and service is so easy to use. With the recent updated food tracking ability it is our favorite way to order take out. The selection of restaurants is long and the wait times are reasonable. Great customer service if you give them a chance to make it right on a mess up, they always do! Way to go this app!

We have ordered about 6 times and never a problem. If too windy, a driver delivers the order. Food is delivered fast & hot. Such a novelty to watch the drone drop down the food.

I’ve used this app literally dozens of times. It’s truly the superior food delivery service. The food always arrives fast, hot, and accurate. Not to mention all of the money saved on delivery fees vs the other apps. Any time food has had to be hand delivered, the drivers were friendly and kind.

I simply only have one complaint and that is that there needs to be more locations available because my friends and family need this in their lives as well!

I just moved to Granbury, TX and was thrilled to find out that a drone can deliver dinner right to my backyard. Flytrex is easy to use and the customer support is too notching there is a glitch. The only glitches I’ve encountered so far have to do with a problem with the drone, which they overcame by calling it back and transferring my dinner to another drone. Then they called me to tell me what happened. My dinner was still hot and it was only about a five minute delay. No big deal!

I honestly can not brag on this enough. On first delivery they send someone out to very coordinates and safe delivery, and the guy they sent was so incredibly nice. Not to mention how much cheaper this is than door dashing or Uber eats, I honestly don’t even know how they make money since every order is so cheap!!!! If you have the ability to use it, USE IT!!!

We have used this app several times now and have really enjoyed it! It’s super convenient and every delivery has been fast and secure. Never a spill or crushed package! We are constantly on Flytrex to see what else we can buy and have delivered!

this app is not only cheaper than other delivery services, it is also exciting and fun! The actual drone coming is so incredible and it never gets old. I feel like a five year old kid every time I order because I get so amped up!! Love this app and I should be paid to be their spokesperson because I tell everyone I know about them!!

One of the straps came loose and bag dropped much faster than previous deliveries. We lost the cokes but recovered the food safely. Would not recommend purchasing drinks that were not in some type of carrier. This was our third delivery, first with drinks, and we are very satisfied with the service. Looking forward to future deliveries.

So far I have had great experiences with the service. Would be a nice addition to be able to edit orders a little more, but may be something for the future. For now this service is for you if you want to feel like your food was flown to you by Icarus and gently warmed by the sun.

Fast, efficient and friendly! My banana fosters French toast this morning was on point, quick, and still hot upon arrival! Truly, this is the only food delivery service we use in our home! Love that we have the opportunity to have this in our backyard!

Delivered from the sky! Food is piping hot still, so you know they are fast and efficient. Workers will come to the delivery point the first time to make everything checks out, and then after that it’s drone only. Most places have no extra delivery fee. It’s great!

You guys are great! This service is a lot faster then the other delivery services. Ordering is very convenient. I love this service. I thought that our dog might go crazy but he doesn’t pay any attention.

This was our initial drone delivery from Chick-fil-a. this app sent a rep out during the delivery to ensure it went well. Flytrex kept me informed of the order and delivery status. The delivery was pinpointed to our yard and to the exact second of the drop. Very impressive!
Didn’t have to leave the house and fight the traffic with free delivery!

Had 4 kids waiting in backyard for their ice cream to be delivered by a drone. A guy in a van pulls up in the driveway with. it. App said delivery in 35 min, then it just went blank. Van shows up later. After completing survey, Flytrex said they can't always fly due to weather conditions. It was a calm sunny day. Driver said they were having issues with the batteries. This is a drone delivery service, they should have notified us and given us a chance to cancel. Plus sending a canned weather response which was not truthful was an added disappointment. This service is not ready for prime time.
