********Edit:After reading a bunch of reviews from real people, it’s pretty obvious that MidasPhotoEditor is just a scam. Don’t download it, don’t purchase it. All the five star reviews on it are fakes. Save yourself the trouble.**********
MidasPhotoEditor does do some of the basic stuff that it says it does. It applies a stylistic filter over an image, whether it comes from your camera or gallery. But from there things get a little ‘meh’. There crop feature under what I assume they consider their editing function doesn’t actually allow you to crop the photo, it will just resize the image to fit a shape for most common social media usage. Then there’s the really basic blur and saturation functions which are very basic with no way of being fine tuned. I don’t normally have a problem with a photo app being basic and bleh quality like this. But it’s being promoted as free when in fact you’re prompted to start a ‘free-trial’ as soon as MidasPhotoEditor opens. It’s pretty misleading.

I downloaded MidasPhotoEditor about 6 months ago then uninstalled it almost immediately so I don’t even have MidasPhotoEditor in my phone but ever since I downloaded it they’ve been charging me $5 sometimes charging me twice a month for something I’ve never used or even have on my phone!!!!! I called my bank to cancel it they did but it canceled all my other apple apps as well and had to add a new credit card but now I see that they started charging me the $5 all over again! Do not download it they will charge you for no reason and won’t give you a refund!!!!!!! Calling my bank again ASAP

First of all, its really clear that the majority of reviews are fake and from the company that made this. MidasPhotoEditor has NONE of the features it promised to have as advertised on instagram. The only options there really are on MidasPhotoEditor is a cropping tool, blurring (the whole photo, not parts), and adjusting the brightness. Im going to enjoy my 3 trail days and turn off my subscription as soon as I complete this review. There is no way people should be paying for MidasPhotoEditor when you can do 1000 more things on picsart or other competitors. I would recommend not wasting your time or money on MidasPhotoEditor.

I saw an ad for this on Instagram and as I have been wanting an app that can turn my pictures cartoonish I got super excited. First of all, it forces you to start a free 3 day trial with automatic renewal of 4.99/week after the 3 days before you can even use MidasPhotoEditor . I decided to do it and cancel after the 3 days. I put the filters on my photos and it completely morphed them into what didn’t even look like a photo anymore. I tried more than one picture in hopes it was just weird with that one picture, but it did it with all of them. I immediately cancelled the subscription. A waste of my time.

in my curiosity I wanted to see myself as a “cartoon” which when advertised made the picture look super cute. anyways, I downloaded MidasPhotoEditor and when I opened it the only option I had was to join a $4.99 weekly subscription (after THREE free days 🙄) in order to do ANYTHING on MidasPhotoEditor. I proceeded as I knew I would be able to edit something and see if it’s what it appears to be.... w/in 5 mins of my “purchase” going through, I could tell the ads were 100% overly exaggerated! Not only did it not function as seen on an ad, it didn’t even have this “cartoon” filter bs like 🤪🤪🤪 WHY IS THAT THE FILTER USED FOR ADVERTISEMENT?!? Already canceled that subscription, don’t waste your time.

You see these awesome adds which must be the Midas Pro! Not to mention, I can’t even use MidasPhotoEditor now because every time I open it, it won’t let me edit anything because it wants me to upgrade to pro and I have no way to get passed it. I’ve closed out MidasPhotoEditor and reopened and it still happens. The pics I’ve used MidasPhotoEditor on, don’t look any where as cool as those in the advertisements. Let down.

I have experienced a lot of photo editors before but they took me a lot of time for one picture and the effects are very bad. This application is different from the others. Not only does it has lovely filters but it also has beauty tools to touch up. I like this one

If you don’t want to spend time looking at your beautiful picture after using this application, don’t download and use this application because I guess that your pictures will become much more beautiful with its great effects and editor tools.

I've used multiple photo editing apps and this particular one has more features than any of the other editing apps have. MidasPhotoEditor should be recognized more anyway so I'm happy to share it with my friends! I look forward to using MidasPhotoEditor more.

Out of all the editing apps I have downloaded, MidasPhotoEditor by far has more options than most. It's easy to choose your tool and produces a beautiful picture every time. I highly recommend MidasPhotoEditor.
