Great idea. Nothing works as claimed though.
GPS - the tracker is no better than an air tag when Rob has left the fenced in area. Until you find him and Bluetooth connects, no view of dog on the map. We use about 10 of our acres and must keep the phone on and the app open to have any location of him or use the commands. Otherwise, it disconnects.
Not water sturdy at all. First collar stopped working when it he got skunked. Never submerged, only wiped the collar. Ordered a second (the 4) and it quit working after the first day of snow.
Warranty/customer service: after all the training work, we’ve had less time with working collars than with them working. To keep Rob training and able to exercise, we paid for a second collar while waiting for CS to refund us for the first. When second collar stopped working, we’ve been without one for over 4 weeks now. Still no tracking info to suggest replacement is on the way BUT we are now being billed for a second collar in our subscription though a collar hasn’t been connected in over a month.
Such a huge disappointment. This gorgeous Bluetick hound has trained so well to be able to use this device and run and play. He’s been on leash for all our property walks (3-5 miles a day) whenever he’s outside the fence. This product and required membership is way too costly to be this problematic. So unfair to good dogs.

Have not had them long. I have 2 collars. Thought I loved them. My neurotic super sensitive dog was shaking the past two days and refused to go outside. She kept hiding in my son’s bed. I used to put the halo collar on and she would run outside. I could not figure it out. So I took off her halo collar and noticed it was making repeated whistling noises. I went into the app. I am supposed to get notifications if emergency feedback is used. I was not getting any notifications, buts usually I do! It had been shocking her in my house for no reason. 18 times over 2 days. To find this out I had to pay $50 to upgrade which ticked me off. I had no clue she was being tortured. I felt horrible. I slept badly last night, so upset about it. Woke up today and tried calling the help line in Dallas. Said there was a 14 min wait. At 35 minutes it hung up on me. Never got to talk to anyone. Opened a support “ticket” in the app. We will see how that goes. Honestly when it worked it worked awesome. One of my collars still does work great. But the other does not. Both are up to date and are charged nightly and well taken care of. Its like I got a bad halo or something and the consequences were disastrous. Knowing this I don’t think I would’ve bought the halo collars. It was a pricey mistake. I love my dogs and you love yours and I’m telling you so you know.

Had an in-ground invisible fence that was getting chewed though by rabbits etc. Decided to bite the bullet and purchase this system for my two dogs. Went through all the retraining which was easy because our dogs kept the same boundary. With in the first month the system was giving emergency feedback in the house. Went through customer support and supposedly “resolved the issue” but it didn’t. We were getting so many incorrect readings that we had to take the collars off when the dogs were in the house. Then the in correct readings were happening outside. We have just under an acre and our dog would be out back laying down and it would give it an emergency signal that it was in the road in front of the house. My dogs would get confused and not understand where their boundaries were so after even more calls to customer service that absolutely resolved nothing we decided we had to completely remove the collars and give our dogs a break for about four months. After another call with customer service, we recalibrated the collar so the gps signal is off when the dogs are inside but the correction is still off outside. If I could go back and just rerun the wiring on my in-ground fence instead of wasting $1200 on collars and the yearly subscription I would. We’ve had our system for about a year now I really wish I could say this was worth the money but it absolutely wasn’t worth mine. I hope others have better luck.
