Flawed software.

The notion of better generated playlists is how this app drew my attention when I was looking online for third-party Apple Music apps. This app does live up to exactly what it says and does so with a clean, easy interface. However, my experience with Next quickly went downhill as I attempted to alter a setting that would prioritize lesser played songs. The app said it was refreshing my music library, which it then continued to do for the better part of an hour as the app ran in the background with my phone awake. After an hour, I closed the app and reopened it, only to be greeted by a loading wheel, which after another hour led me to believe that it would continue forever if I let it. I reinstalled the app and found the same issues again.
Even if this app will run successfully on your phone, paying $4.99 for a glorified shuffle button was only worth it to me because I had leftover gift card funds. As Apple continues to refine and update the functionality of their Music app and Apple Music services, it will be apps like this one that will quickly and increasingly fall into irrelevance.
No better than Shuffle

I had high hopes for this app but it doesn’t work any better than the Shuffle feature in Apple Music with my Library. I have 4000 songs there but this app insists on playing the same 15-20 titles each time I start it up. I thought it was supposed to be better at picking songs you had not listened to in a while to add to the shuffling but that is not the case. I am very disappointed.
CarPlay needs a lot of work

Bought it for my car. Shows promise but lots of bugs. App doesn’t crash but touching track just causes a screen response but no play. Sometimes using apples generic app can be used to force play. I get some very verbose droid message about some sort of CarPlay problem. Never seen a single error message on anything other app so i guess they are doing something half right as the app doesn’t crash
