If you time one of your teammates, HTCCheckIn will just record the start and end time and calculate an average pace based on the distance of the leg. The HTC app is a location tracking / fitness app that helps teams and individual participants while they compete in the Hood to Coast and Portland to Coast Relays as well as our One Day Relays. When timing yourself, HTCCheckIn will use your GPS location to calculate run/walk distance and pace. Using either method to collect the data or by entering in timing data manually on the Team screen, the HTC app will then provide estimated start and end times for each leg to help the team, captain and drivers coordinate when to be at the next exchange point.
