First timers
The set up has not been easy. There should be a check list of all the info a company will need to have on hand before they start the sign up process. I did not know all the different tax ID numbers I needed to set up a payroll so I had to keep stopping and starting. Also, when I can get tech support they have been great. Sometimes getting tech support was difficult. Now that I am all at up I think it will run smoothly.

Really easy—really convenient—and a REAL value!
Intuit kept hiking pricing while customer service kept declining. I did my research and frankly was skeptical of the price, app, etc. ADP this app has over delivered in all aspects from set up to running payroll…they just make it easy and in an era where everyone is jacking up prices—this app is economical AND frankly a great value!

Terrible experience
I am a S-Corp, and I tried using this app to pay a salary to myself, the only employee. They told me I had to wire funds to them to cover the first payroll, and after I did, the customer service chat agents, which is the only way to get any help, wouldn’t verify the wire and told me the payroll was processed, even though it has never appeared in my account. All of my customer service interactions have been terrible, and I’m trying to track down the $15,000 they took from me. Do not recommend using Roll.

We spent lot of time setting up everything and submitted all the requested documentation but after so many days they suddenly inactivated my account and said they dont want to offer services to me.. no reason given, its ridiculous.. if they need more info they should ask for it.. denying with no reason does not make sense.. using gusto now.. though its priced more its very user friendly and good customer service..

It says it’s easy to set up. It’s not. Very difficult and takes forever. I never even got it set up. Validation of information takes forever too. I’ve used other companies and they set up everything with little info needed. And it takes a day or 2. Not worth the time.

Don’t let them fool you as a simple easy going app. They denied me the ability to use payroll based on things they cannot disclose. Absolute garbage.

Nightmare to use
I would give minus star if I can . So many glitches, payroll is the only thing it’s supposed to be and yet it can’t seem to accomplish it smoothly.
