This is not needed if you set your devices up correctly!
When I am on the net , I am a CARTOON character.
So if I am Fred Flintstone’s long lost cousin they can have all the info I have. One of my devices I am a old western cowboy and it works flawlessly. I never buy anything without PayPal... Show more which keeps me safe and all my info masked on their site , This app also told me I was in danger because I didn’t use the passcode. I am using my devices inside the safety of my home so why would I frustrate myself with this worthless feature. Passcode doesn’t help at all because the harm is on the inside after you open the door and if you are smart enough not too store your passwords inside the device and all the info is faulty you should be safe . Why is the scan button on this app dead ? It doesn’t do anything but give you a report that something is wrong. My device is brand new yet is infected , LOL . If Apple would stop being cowardly and take a stand against these bullying developers who slam us with rotten ad infested apps and other questionable actions then we would be safer. I will never let my kids use a iPad without being supervised for their protection. You would be surprised how many time I had to disapprove of a kids app because they think we are checking and Apple isn’t paying attention! So only common sense can keep us safe on these devices!

So, protection is a great idea. However, when the privacy browsing is on. You cannot make any app work. I deleted it and IT KEPT THE VPN. Screwed everything.

Edit: I had it active while on WIFI at the house. I left and it went to LTE service. I had forgot to turn it off when I left. I tried ... Show more to load an app and it didn't work, said connection issue. I realized it was still connected. Tried to disconnect and it would not allow me to. I was not able to view Facebook, safari or even send IMessages because of it. Don't know why. So I deleted the app since I was going to be gone a while. It still stayed connected...could not turn off through VPN settings on the phone or anything. Had to wait until I got home again a few hours later to disconnect it and delete. Then restart my phone to clear it.

I paid for this app. A foolish decision. It slows down loading your apps on iOS for both iPad & iPhone. It does not stop spam in Gmail. There does not seem to be a US based customer service phone # where someone actually answers the phone. It’s the same with online chat - no response. I miss... Show more our IT manager where I used to work. I never had problems with spam in Gmail or Outlook. Make sure you don’t mail anything to a temp or contractor at a CPA firm. I used a small CPA firm & the result was large quantities of spam in Gmail. I have “ fired” the CPA firm & it’s taking hours to notify all my contacts & newsletters about my new email.
