Range is extremely short and even then doesn’t translate very accurately. Works ok when it’s quiet and just a couple of people, but that’s not where I need it. Took it to a meeting where I was only about 6 feet from the speaker and got nothing at all. Tonight at a dinner, it worked fair for about ten minutes and then decided it needed to download SPANISH and wouldn’t do ANYTHING till I was back on a WiFi connection again. This is a real battery killer and makes the phone get so hot you wouldn’t want to pick it up. I suspect that it is linking with Siri because my battery usage meter said SIRI used 28% of my charge today, and I didn’t use Siri at all. Not going to renew after this month is used up. Sorry, but this didn’t help me at all.

I am very disappointed to report that this app did not preform to what I’ve heard.
I attempted to use it to transcribe an interview. Placed my phone next to the microphone and at full blast (it wouldn’t pick up anything otherwise), and it still missed 50% of what was said, not to mention the errors in what it did transcribe. I wasn’t expecting much (especially since the person I was interviewing has a very strong accent), but it got about 50% (as I mentioned before) of what he said, and NONE of what I said.
The transcription would also often stop for no apparent reason, or backspace and delete correct text.
I am very disappointed.

This is not accessible with voiceover and braille displays for Deafblind people. Also, if you want to write to the company-- which I tried to do, you must fill out a CAPTCHA, either audio or visual, and being Deafblind, I can do neither, so this is the only way I can communicate with the dev. I find it frustrating that the maker of an app for accessibility puts their contact form behind an inaccessible captcha. There are better ways of weeding out spam. Do not download this app if yAre deafblind and require braille. It will freeze up your display and you will have to exit the app to regain functionality.
