App only shows AEDs once

After installing and opening the app, GPS works fine with automatically zooming in on the position and AEDs get shown on the map.
When you close and re-open the app, the map doesn’t show the AEDs anymore.
Map also won’t zoom in automatically anymore.
GPS symbol on top right is greyed out.
Home button crashes the app.
Top right Layers icon menu List button shows no AEDs at all.
This app basically becomes useless after just one usage.
