Paid $170 for a cleaning at 8:00 am! No one showed up. I called and they said someone would be there by 10 am. At 11 I called again, they said the cleaner was driving around and couldn’t find my address. She wasn’t answering my messages. Supposedly she went home to charge her phone and was coming back and only 5 minutes away. 2 hours later at 5:00 PM she showed up. Complaining about how tired she was. My kids had to sleep so I told her to skip the bedrooms and focus on 2 of 3 bathrooms and the kitchen and living room. She left after 3 hours, left all of her sweeping piles. She cleaned the outside of the bathtub but not the inside. When I tried to cancel the upcoming cleanings I had scheduled they said I would have to pay a $40 cancellation fee!

Cleanster showed promise until 80 percent of the cleaners you find on here never show up. Then the company will still charge you multiple times for cleanings that you had to cancel because no one showed up.

Customer service doesn’t respond or help out. A matter of fact, the one time I finally could get a hold of them, they lectured me on trying to steal their cleaners from their terrible app instead of fixing the multiple issues going on (I wasn’t taking any cleaners from Cleanster ).

App is really easy 2 use. Service is horrible, though. They cancelled my service two days in a row & tried 2 blame it on me, saying that I cancelled it. Then changed their answer saying they weren’t able 2 get a hold of the cleaner assigned to the job. This was 2.5 hours after they were supposed to start cleaning. Horrible horrible service

Cleanster was recommended by a friend and I tried booking an appointment for my Airbnb. Maintenance on Cleanster happened in the middle of the day so the person cleaning the space could not access the cleaning lists or start the job. They were also over and hour late. I reached out to the support team using the messaging feature to resolve all of these issues and did not get a response.

I booked a cleaning and paid in full upfront. The day of the job, my cleaner did not show up and did not communicate with me at all. No calls, no messages through Cleanster , no texts- nothing. Certainly I was entitled to a refund so I sent two messages through Cleanster and received no response whatsoever. I ended up having to dispute the charge through my bank. Terrible, non- responsive service. I almost think Cleanster is a scam. Do not use.

I had high hopes for this service, but was greatly disappointed when I booked my first cleaning service and the cleaner did not show up. I never received a warning or notification that the appointment needed to be canceled. Just a no-show, leaving me with 2 hours to turnover an Airbnb unit by myself. Reliability and communication are critical for anyone running an Airbnb business - perhaps even more so than the cleaning itself - and this app has missed the mark in this regard.

Booked a cleaning service through Cleanster several days ago and was assigned a cleaner for my area. On cleaning day, the cleaner did not show up. There was zero communication with me from the cleaner—no call, no text, no messsges through Cleanster ! I contacted tidy but there is no number to call; only e-mail. Fully for decentralization, but there is a limit! Would give zero stars if this was an option! Try another service if you can!

Do NOT use this company. They have bots handling everything, so there was no one to help when the cleaner no showed. Cleanster continued to find a new cleaner hours later, even though I sent message after message that I just wanted a refund. Eventually, some poor cleaning progressional showed up 4 hours later, because again there was no way to stop Cleanster . I have picture evidence of the numerous times I tried to contact them, and I still have not received a response AND they still have my money.

I am forced to give 1 star. Customer support is kind and always present, and I love the idea. But the execution is simply not there “yet”. My first attempt at getting a cleaning was canceled out of nowhere without any notification to me. They gave me a discount so I booked another one. This second attempt was a no show. So they gave me another discount and I booked a third one. This one showed up, but in the 3 hours and 15 minutes that was supposed to take to clean my entire apartment, she only got half of it done. Needs a more reliable system and more control on the efficiency of the cleaners.

The tech is super easy to use and user friendly. Makes the bookings easy to do. However, not worth the terrible cleaning service. The cleaner we received refused to clean basic cleaning protocols. The basic ones that Airbnb hosts require their guests to do. I tired contacting customer service and they ignored my messages. The cleaner would get in contact with their rep and would tell him they “called me” when they never did. Do NOT book through Cleanster. There are other cleaning apps superior to this. The modern tech is worthless if they can’t get the actual service of CLEANING done well.

Cleaner barely cleaned. I had to micro manage the entire process and gave up after hours. She arrived late and left early. I had to ask her to redo almost everything and I had to ask for the most basic stuff. Can you wipe down the mirror? Can you clean the floor? Mop? Wipe down the front of the cabinets? Cleaner put cleaning wipes in the toilet. Cleaner repeatedly said she was done after doing very little. The corners in the bathroom were not cleaned. There was still food spills on the floor in the kitchen. The cleaner was not vaccinated and did not wear a mask. I will have to pay someone else to actually clean. Don’t wasn’t your time or money-

I paid $170 for a cleaning at 9 am. Cleanster was down until 10 am that day and no one even verified that someone was coming. Then at about 10:30 am a cleaner messaged and said she’d be there in about an hour. I was busy working and just trusted she would get there and get the job done. At 2:30 I was informed that no one had showed up by someone at the house, not by Tidyapp. There was no communication from Tidy app at all. So I called them and they begged me to give them a chance to let someone come by 3 and if not they would refund me. When I got off work at 5:30, they told me that the cleaner couldn’t find the house and it was my fault and they wouldn’t refund a penny. Horrific experience and a scam

Cleaner was scheduled for 9am on the day I was having guests for dinner. Cleaner finally showed up at 4pm and guests came at 5 so she left…I did not get reimbursed for the 4.25 hrs of cleaning I paid for. I had to dispute it with my bank and still I didn’t get my money back because Tidy lied to the bank!! They said I cancelled the cleaner!! So furious. It’s such a scam.

I need an app that will show me a calendar view of my cleanings and allow my cleaners to edit which days they can clean with automated integration with my Airbnb calendar. I like that you can assign teams but Cleanster is difficult to navigate and doesn’t provide the features I thought it was advertising.

I received before and after pictures and felt my space looked very clean after. Well done. They also communicated well throughout.

Love booking cleaning through Cleanster. I don’t have a set cleaning schedule so it allows me to book whenever I want a deep clean on the day I want it! Very happy customer.

We had a hard time finding a cleaner and we’re very happy with the results so far.

The best short-term rental cleaning app out there.
this app is amazing. It gets better when you own more than 15 units. You see all the cleaners and activities in a glace.
