Tidy: House Cleaning Schedule Reviews

I reset the data on Tidy . Without warning it considered it as a fresh purchase and charged me again for the month . I wasn’t sure what I did and I clicked again it again and it once again charged me for the entire year .

I contacted support and then the developer sends an email saying there is no way to refund from their side and to contact apple . On Apple website it says can’t report Tidy .

This feels like Tidy has been made live just to mint money . Why was this feature even live if there is a major bug like this ? Doesn’t the developer have an ethical obligation to prevent these type of things .

I don’t want to have to sign up for free trials just to use a simple checklist 😔 I can’t delete the items you put on my checklist without signing up. It’s very disappointing and I won’t even try Tidy any farther.

Every time I try to do something it for save
It kicks me out randomly and often
Nothing saves when I add a task, a checklist, and note it just kicks me out of Tidy I can’t add members it kicks me out of Tidy on my phone and the link that sends just goes to Tidy on there phone and gives them a loading screen and then kicks them out of Tidy on there phone Tidy is not worth downloading

I tried Tidy for just a bit and cancelled within an hour. Pretty sure I was charged anyway and couldnt even email them successfully under “contact us.” In my Apple subscription, it shows cancelled, but I still have another month with an app that was supposed to have a three day free trial?!?! And I cancelled very quickly after getting it. Why was I charged 3.99??

My girlfriend bought the paid version and setup a household for us to use multiple accounts with synchronization. We got everything setup on her phone and the next time I opened Tidy it wiped our entire three hour setup. The coding is absolute garbage and will waste your time and money. Using the notes app is better.

This might work for some people but not for me. For example, we’re retired, don’t have a dishwasher, don’t have most of the rooms it wants me to clean, but do have many things that must be done that aren’t there. If I took the time to customize it to the tasks I need to do I wouldn’t have time for the tasks themselves. But if I could have the functionality while deleting all the default tasks and starting from scratch with my own tasks it might have worked. I don’t know where the developers live but it’s not in my world.

App requires a fee $3.99/mo or $10/yr. I wish apps had to be more transparent about this and list it bold and outright in the same banner as the other quick facts (like where the how many reviews they have scroll bar area) or tell you in a pop up before downloading. The “free” parts are ok but definitely not a functional/resourceful app imo and I’m not willing to pay for this. I’ll just copy a list of deep cleaning ideas and import them to my calendar—way more time but free. I wouldn’t mind seeing ads and an ad free version with a fully functional app so i guess I’ll keep looking.

Tidy has all the features I was looking for: extensive cleaning list, ability to schedule tasks, daily tasks. Only problem is, tasks that are marked as done disappear days later as though you never did them. So frustrating, I requested a refund.

Tidy is great in concept, but freezes up or won’t open every single time. I have yet to use it without it acting up. Love the idea, but it’s pretty expensive for something that doesn’t work so well. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written about an app. I’m not usually a complainer, but there are other apps that are better for the same price.

Disappointing that I can’t even make a custom list for free. Very limited useful free aspects to Tidy . I wouldn’t mind watching ads but I’m not willing to pay that much for just the list making feature which is all I would want to use Tidy for anyway.

I was prepared to love Tidy but for whatever reason it doesn’t allow me to customize the cleaning schedule as much as I’d like. I went through all of the tasks and selected my preferred frequencies (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) for each, plus requested that cleaning tasks only be on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Well Tidy listened to none of that. It scheduled tasks on random days of the week, and none of them at the frequency I requested. I guess Tidy would be fine for someone with no preferences about what days/tasks they’re assigned

When clicking certain features, it forces Tidy to completely close.
_water.damage._ review from march is the same issues I’ve been having. It’s been going on for some time now… and with their review being from march I just don’t know if you plan on fixing these issues

Tidy is good for keeping track of tasks but I probably wouldn’t renew. Firstly there are spelling errors throughout Tidy , which makes it look not very professional. Also, I don’t like how you can’t get a wider view of tasks as part of the schedule (daily vs weekly vs monthly vs yearly). It would be great to see things in that way or also by room. It’s a good start but needs some work.

I was taking care of getting my profile set up, and all of the sudden it just closes itself and I tapped on Tidy to open again l and it is refusing to open and run normally. If it is fixed, I’d gladly redownload.

I wanted this to work. We are nit getting notifications. Incomplete tasks do not move to following day. You will need to go to each task on a past date and update it individually

I’ve been looking for cleaning checklist app exactly like this this one! (this app) I paid for the year subscription and was so excited. Unfortunately, whenever I click on “Add tasks” & “make new plan/checklist”, it takes me to a white page & won’t load… I have restarted Tidy , restarted my phone, & undownloaded then re-downloaded Tidy . Nothing has fixed this glitch/issue. It’s upsetting since I finally found a checklist app I liked & also paid for Tidy but not able to access use it! This would be a great app and I would have no problem paying for it, if you app creator can fix this issue. If you can fix this problem, I’ll definitely download it again & change my review plus change it to 5 stars!! Hope you guys can fix this issue or give me a way to fix this. You made a great app, don’t give up on it. Thanks.

I’ve downloaded several apps like this but this one just isn’t for me. Kind of hard to follow and I don’t want to speed clean to beat the timer.

I have been loving Tidy so much. However, after the last update, no modifications to any due dates “stick” when saved (they just revert back to either the original date or 10 days in the future). This is happening for all tasks, whether existing or new.

I love that it has all kinds of suggestions, but I wish you could add tasks from separate lists into your main “Daily” and/or “Today” list. There’s different lists all over the place and I’m not sure how another family member is supposed to find the tasks assigned to them either. If you could curate tasks from multiple lists, then it’s more organized, you have a timer going, and you can divide different tasks across different days.

For example, the Summer Prep Checklist has some great suggestions but it would be nice if I could put say, 2-3 tasks on “Today”, 2-3 more on tomorrow’s list, etc. Then I can try to achieve all of this across the week and not feel overwhelmed. It also just makes the interface more user-friendly.

Also, when adding a new task, this would be a great spot to have the list of “all tasks” as a drop down so the user can more quickly add tasks already developed somewhere else in Tidy . Saves time.

I am a professional organizer and I started using Tidy as a test for clients and I fell in love with it! You can pick the level of cleaning you want to do, how many days/hours you want to spend and can assign different people to certain tasks. It’s such a great way to get people started when they may feel overwhelmed. And as someone who has adhd, I would also recommend it for others with it.

I have always loved a clean house. I can not sleep with a messy room at all. Our family is a family of six, so it’s extra hard to keep the house clean. So, I think Tidy will be appreciated.

I download any and every cleaning, decluttering, minimalist, tidying, routine, cleaning checklist app I see on Tidy Store. Tidy is not only great for recommended daily task but it also gives excellent and detailed information on how to set up routines. Tips and tricks on how to clean certain items. They don’t tease you with one article and then say you have to buy a subscription for more. They give you several articles for free. 10/10

I hate cleaning my house. It seems like such a daunting job and I never know where to start. Tidy has been so extremely helpful. It has a list of daily chores . There are also some quick chores, some that I never knew needed to be cleaned 😊, that take less than an hour. I feel so accomplished when I get to cross things off.

I’ve had the free version of Tidy for several days now. It’s exactly what I was looking for… a quick list of cleaning tasks to do for the day. I don’t want to make a schedule, I don’t want to make a list. I just want an app to tell me what to clean.

It would be handy if there was a feature that allowed you to opt out of tasks permanently (i.e if you don’t have whatever it is that needs to be cleaned).
