They charge almost 50 cents per minute- 3 to 4 times more expensive than their competitors. Getting an Uber is much cheaper. Not to mention how they are being left in the middle of sidewalks everywhere- a tripping hazard for pedestrians and cyclists. Nobody is wearing a helmet on them and they go just as fast as bikes but have smaller wheels making them more dangerous to ride than bikes. People are extremely reckless with driving adding to the danger. It’s inevitable that someone will start throwing them off the piers in canal introducing a BIG pollution problem that could be harmful to the ships as well. The GPS on LeafRides is faulty too.

Please do Duluth a favor and don’t get LeafRides or support this company. They are making our sidewalks more dangerous and scooter pollution will get out of hand if they decide to expand.

Was trying to get a scooter and LeafRides said there was a scooter at a certain spot on LeafRides and we went to multiple places on LeafRides and none of them had any of the scooters near by so it was very bad service and I will never use them again. I recommend no one to ever use them

A bad version of lime, scooters are awful and cheaply made. They’re either half broken when you get on or break while you’re riding. Very very expensive. The customer service also doesn’t even reply.

They took 20$ from me because they didn’t charge me through the money I already had on my account. Instead, they charged me a whole new payment for my ride instead of withdrawing from the money I had put on my account for future use.

My scooter, while at 100% battery, would shut off whenever I would be traveling at max speed for more than five seconds. Half the time, my scooter would go far less than max speed with the throttle pushed all the way down. Furthermore when I was having payment issues from me being overcharged on a promotion, I left a message on LeafRides (there is no actual telephone number) to let them know what the issue was and they never got back to me. It’s been about two weeks since this happened and I’ve left more messages but it seems that the two college kids running the entire thing are ignoring me.

The idea is very nice and a much needed fun activity in the area. However, LeafRides is very slow and there are a lot of bugs and the price per minute needs to be re-evaluated, I think it’s a little pricey. Overall a fun experience and would definitely recommend.

If your looking for a little speed then you’ve picked the wrong ride but if you just want to puzt around and see the sites then it’s a fun time. They have to make it fun and safe for the average joe. B nice 2 have a certification that would unlock a faster gear but liability makes one phrase so true” This is why we can’t have nice things “

I had so much fun on the scooters. LeafRides is a little glitchy but was talking to the owners and said it will all be fixed by this Thursday, becuase they are waiting on some parts. But I would definitely recommend to anyone. It’s a fun way around Duluth without having to walk. And at a reasonable price!

Great customer service awesome ride. Went for a half hour and loved it went all over canal the machine ended up shutting off but that was because I didn’t know the hours they operated I called the customer support and the explained local laws required it but were extremely friendly and helpful with more information about them. Anytime I see one again I’m hopping on.

Great way to explore Duluth! It was a lot of fun and easy to use! I would recommend this! The price was fair for the amount of the fun!

Second time to try Leaf here in Duluth, absolutely a super fun way to buzz around the city!! We had a glitch with LeafRides last night but was reimbursed by the super understanding owners. They are a new startup, and are very personable! Highly recommend them to people who want an outdoor experience for cheap! Had an awesome experience cruising downtown Duluth with Leafs scooters. They work awesome, and are quick easy to find and use. Great idea run by a couple of great people. I would highly recommend.

I highly recommend you try out the leaf ride scooters that came to Duluth! They are set at a good price and the scooters work really smoothly. LeafRides worked perfect for me and I will continue to ride the scooters!!!

These things are a ton of fun and the owners are great people. It’s great that they are locals to Duluth also and I’d rather support them then some big name business whose profits leave the area. I recommend this service to anyone looking to see the area in a fun new way!

Had an amazing experience with the leaf scooters! Our kids had to go back for a second day of riding! We werent super tech savy but were able to figure out LeafRides and everything went without a hitch! Super experience!!!

These scooters are amazing!! The owners are very friendly and easily to get along with:) This is one of the best ways to explore the canal and have fun with your friends. I recommend these rides they are amazing!
