When is am editing the sound for a frame no matter what I do it doesn't save

I have gone to the sound effects section and tried to press 'transport' for a honking sound, but it is just going blue, and not going to that category. I have tried with other categories and had the same problem. Please fix this as I really need this sound effect. It ties the whole animation together. Thank you, C Short.
