This is one of several apps I have to use for work and it is THE WORST app and website I have ever used in my life. My team constantly has problems with it, the UI looks horrible and is awful to use, 50% of the time only GoTo works, 50% of the time only the site works so we are always switching back and forth trying to make it work. Calls drop, half the time the audio doesn’t come through, the audio controls on GoTo are extremely limited and practically useless, sometimes the phone audio rings and sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes the call doesn’t even come through - we just receive a voicemail after the customer reported calling several times, no of which my team saw or heard come through. I have a brand new MacBook Pro, AirPods in great condition, and terrific wifi, and I do not experience these sorts of issues with any of the other app we use. It is truly the worst app I have ever used in my life. I think there are plenty of applications better than zoom, but I would pay money to use zoom over this. Unfortunately I have to use for my job. But if you have any in say in whether you use GoTo, I would highly recommend you choose literally anything else.

GoTo is full of bugs, but there’s no way to get any support. Not phone support. Not email support. Not even chat support. They have a chat bot, but it’s not a good one. So dev team, if you read this, the dialogs presented when there’s a server connection issue are incorrect. Says there’s no account, but it’s actually just a connection issue. Then when the connection is restored, there’s no way to turn on Do Not Disturb for the phone. It throws an error message saying there’s an error and to try again. Exiting an re-entering GoTo doesn’t fix it, nor does quit and restart.
Calendar sync

Really disappointing. Unlike the GTM legacy app, the new this app iOS app does not sync with calendars on your phone. The best part of the legacy app was that it would present all your GTM meetings in one view it found from your calendar. Competitor apps do sync. Also, unlike other platforms it does not let you seamlessly move from one platform to another and when will the camera limit be rectified?

Ever since updating GoTo no longer works on my iPhone. Calls ring once then I get a notification stating that there was an error with the incoming call and to tap the notification to resolve it, but that doesn’t take me anywhere. The calls screen is now also stuck loading or freezes on the loading circle so I cannot see any inbound or outbound calls.
I’ve been using GoTo for 9 months as the primary communication line for a busy hotel reservations desk. It frequently drops calls, but more often, it will have no audio from the person who has called you. They can hear me just fine, but I receive zero audio on the call. This happens nonstop, so GoTo is virtually unusable for hours at a time. Shutting off the phone and force closing GoTo results in needing to sign in again, but not fixing the issue. Sometimes it works just fine, but more often than not, this issue puts us out of commission for the day. Disappointed.

My workplace replaced ALL desk lines with GoTo.
It has some major benefits - no more putting my personal number on my business card. Being able to text clients from my work number.
However, the reality is not as smooth as the theoretical experience.
I have a great data plan and yet my calls on GoTo are often dropped, weirdly echo’d or far away. Sometimes photos are not going through via text. And I can never seem to listen to a voicemail without it going silent while up to my ear (no I’m not touching the screen with my face)
Love it in theory. Looking forward to improvements. Our team at work echos similar issues.
May need to just purchase a second real phone after all
Warm Transfer & Hold Glitches

Recently when I attempt a warm transfer, my colleague on the other end is unable to hear me. This has happened every time I tried do a warm transfer. Also, there’s a glitch when I place a current call on hold to take second call. When I place the second call on hold and go back to the first one, the first call cannot hear me. When the first call calls back, they still can’t hear me. This is very inconvenient, please fix this!

GoTo works great for the most part! But I do notice that sometimes when I’m on a cal it glitches and sounds like we have a terrible connection. Also when I am using my office phone and I pick up a phone call, GoTo doesn’t register that I answered the call so it keeps ringing on my cell phone. I also wish GoTo integrated into my Apple Watch so I received call notification on there as well because I don’t always have my phone on me.

We use GoToConnect for working from home. It’s been a great tool until about a month ago. It now doesn’t allow us to do transfers directly to voicemail - even though the button looks active. Very frustrating. Working with their tech team but still haven’t been able to address the issues.
I love the new design but it’s missing calendar integration like the previous app

I had to find the meeting ID and manually copy/paste it in order to join the meeting. Why does the new this app app not allow access to the calendar to automatically populate the meetings like the previous app?

the Apple iphone (12 pro max) and PC app are slow and laggy- the PC is actually worse.. The worst part about it is the texting app- it's as if the programmers are reinventing the wheel and making it square. Sending texts, querying contacts, especially adding attachments😭😭😭- it's a travashamockery of an interface. Someone please save the day here.
Everything "phone" works well, but sometimes you get a floating menu, sometimes its in GoTo , sometimes its hiding somewhere behind a window... pretty minor but annoying.
I've never done a meeting on my iphone so no insight there
Voicemail Alerts Issue

When I get a voicemail notification and then click on it to open GoTo , it should go right to the voicemail, correct? It doesn’t. It opens GoTo to the recent calls and then I can’t even click on the voicemail tab. I have to close the open and reopen it. And it takes so long to sync once you do open it. I’m not loving GoTo. There are much better phone system apps out there that have no issues. Please fix the voicemail notifications issue.
Latest update makes extensions more difficult

I need to be signed into different extensions at different times, and the latest update means more taps to change extensions and I can’t just easily see which extension I am signed into. I have to tap on my profile and then tap on extensions to find out what I’m signed into. I really wish that was easily available to see what I was signed into and a change from one extension to another. Otherwise, GoTo has function well for me.

I’m a teacher and we use GoTo at school to communicate with other colleagues in the district and parents. I really enjoyed GoTo at first. It’s awesome to receive calls on GoTo on my cellphone. I would also get notifications of incoming calls on my Apple Watch (series 3). Extremely convenient. However, I’ve been using it about 6 months now and I’ve noticed that maybe after the update I am no longer receiving the notifications on my watch. I’m not sure if it’s the update or is GoTo not compatible to my new watch (series 7)….
I am teacher. I use GoTo everyday day to call students and their families. GoTo is very good for work. It organizes contacts, and works just like a regular cell phone- as far as VM, text, and calls go. One complaint, is that GoTo . does not update numbers- that have been added as contact- very quickly. It takes about a min. or so. My other complaint is that GoToconnect/ Jive is not compatible with all headsets. It does work with a bluetooth though. Other than these two things- I am very pleased over all.

GoToConnect is a great phone system and GoTo has made life much easier. Love being able to seamlessly transfer calls between app on the smartphone and my desktop softphone.

As someone that works on the road, at home or even on-site. GoTo has been exceptional! If you have bad cell service and are not connected to Wi-Fi the it won’t work just like your cell phone but that is expected! On good Wi-Fi or if I have good service it has been a huge benefit to me and my customers! I would recommend this platform to anyone!

Clear signal, rarely have a bad connection. We run our business thru this line and it has been excellent. I would rate it a six but the scale only goes to five.

Your new app icon kind of gets lost with all the other apps on my phone now… your old app icon was colorful and very easily recognizable and really stood out (just an observation and opinion).
I love the fact that I can call parents from my mobile phone and a school number appears and not my cell phone number. GoTo makes getting a hold of parents a lot easier.
I like it, but as in everything, we have always a chance to be better. On this case, I would like that we can make a call without opening GoTo , and go directly from the contacts. Would save time.

GoTo was released to replace Jive but it’s literally the same buggy app with a different name / icon. The only consistency you get from GoTo is that everyone is consistently having problems. What kind of bugs, you ask? Well, it depends on the model, and even version, of the phone!
Tech support is worse than GoTo . You have a problem...be ready to prove it. You’ll have to write a report (and submit screenshots) for each ticket you submit and your ticket will most likely be closed before any solution is given. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM GoTo!

Switched from jive even though it’s the same company, probably because of how awful jive’s reputation is. This is just as bad if not worse. My company requires it so I have to use it. Can’t wait until I can delete it. By far my biggest source of daily frustration. Always has issues. Always.

This is literally the same Jive App just with a new UI. All the same bugs are there 1. Delete too many VMs at a time and will get a message the VM can’t be deleted 2. Periodically after periods of inactivity with GoTo if you receive a phone call you get no audio. You have to force close GoTo and then audio magically works 3. The new UI button for “What would you like to do” covers up the bottom VM and you can’t select the delete option.

Its like the developers of GoTo have never used a cell phone. Why cant I add a contact to this without importing my personal contacts (which i will NEVER DO since i dont want to mix my work colleagues which are many, with my personal contacts)? Why cant i text a number when i pull up a contact or make a call from that screen? Why do i have to hit 2 options for speakerphone? Why does GoTo (previously Jive) have no idea how to make a convenient platform...seriously, people...look at your personal cell phones and MIMIC what works, dont develop crap that makes organizing the constantly changing contacts i have exceedingly frustrating
I actually prefer the Jive app better because I do a lot of text messaging. I liked to keep everything in one place. I can’t find a way to delete messages on this new app and I can’t copy and paste from other previous messages which is kind of frustrating writing the same thing over again for multiple clients. Please fix the copy/paste and to be able to delete. Also, I can’t click the number I just called to send a text message. I have to renter the number all over again..... cmon now this is 2020. Time consuming for a busy business person. Needs lots of work still.

So far works better than the jive app... wondering why I had to call and sit on the phone with customer support for 30 min to learn of its existence. Now my main concern is that I don’t get notifications when I have a missed call or voicemail, which is very problematic.

The Jive app was a perfectly functional iPad app that allowed you to work with keyboard and in landscape. iPhone only version is a pretty serious downgrade for those of us using iPads to work remotely.

I’m sad that I: - Can’t see the telephone number of callers on the history - Don’t get notifications of messages - Have missing outgoing calls in the history - Wish the icon for incoming and outgoing calls were different colors from each other - Can’t add a contact from GoTo - Can’t delete a contact - Can’t update a contact

I don’t get badges. Huge issue, I have deleted and downloaded 3 times.
Definitely and upgrade from the Jive app but you still can’t see phone numbers. If the name isn’t stored it just says wireless caller. The photo in GoTo Store is deceiving because it show the callers number. You also can’t add a contact when the call. Since I can’t see their number, I can’t even manually enter it.

I also came from the dreadful Jive audio app and let’s y’all about dropped calls and missing text messages. This is definitely an upgrade! GoTo is user friendly and organized and great to work with. The “all” button does not include new incoming text messages. You must go to text messages to see new messages. Other than that, I’m enjoying GoTo!

GoTo is simple and sophisticated. Very easy to use. All your needs in one place. The this app platform has improved tremendously and after researching the field, tops all of the competitors. The functionality of GoTo is what does it for me! A+++!!!
The new app from Logmein is so much better than the old Jive app. It work’s as described and with all the updates coming out it just gets better and better. SMS now works great! Holding a GoToConnect meeting works well. Still a few things need to be tweaked but I see the work being put into this and every time I want something new it seems to be in the next update. Overall it’s a great product that is actively being updated and allows me to work like I am in the office when I am not.
