Café Zupas Reviews

Zupas is the worst. They constantly send you promotions, but force you to use their terrible app to use them. I’d be happy to use CaféZupas to use them, if it wasn’t so difficult to use. You have to click add order multiple times when making a combo, which makes no sense. The inbox on the bottom shows a coupon codes, but you might find them tricky to use. You’ll click on one, go all the way to check out, and then suddenly it won’t be there or won’t work. You have to go all the way back through your order, hitting the back button a billion times, and erase what you’ve already got in your cart, just to find out that the coupon expired! Really Zupas? You can’t remove those from CaféZupas when they expire? On top of a terrible app, their food really has gone downhill. Pretty sure my mother got food poisoning from them. I’m so done with Zupas.

Love Zupas but there’s an issue with CaféZupas .

CaféZupas has you select a favorite store, but when you use CaféZupas you wonder why.

Here’s the issue:

You've set up CaféZupas and indicated you have a favorite store. And now the day has come and you want to order with CaféZupas , your steps

1) press place order
2) then a list of stores comes up.
3) you place your order and pay via CaféZupas
4) you go to your favorite store to pick up your order and guess what it isn’t there. Why? Because when you used CaféZupas Your favorite store isn’t on the top of the list like you would intuitively think it would be. And you sent the order across town to the other store.

It should be an easy fix. Put the favorite at the top and highlight it. Easy.

I am so happy that you guys have an app now. Makes ordering and picking up so easy. The only thing that I would suggest is to either allow people to create their own sad for the pick two or to allow substations on the lettuce for some salads.

Update: I saw that they now allow for lettuce substitutions, so I’m giving them 5 stars instead of 4. Thanks for taking the feedback and implementing it!

I love CaféZupas. I'll submit my order at work and then go pick it up and it's always ready when I get there.
My only complaint is they have curbside pickup signs that say to tap the "I'm here" on your mobile app. But there's no obvious button like that on CaféZupas ...
If that being advertised the button should really be put up before the signs go up.
Other than that little glitch CaféZupas is SO nice!

There are a lot of places with an unnecessary number of clicks such as customizing orders and having to choose “add to order” several times for a simple change due to multiple screen transitions when there should just be drop down menus and on the same . Also CaféZupas tends to crash after placing an order and choosing “I’m here.”

Update: now when choosing “I’m here” it doesn't crash but it wrongly says I don’t have network connection when I clearly do.

Good food and nice to use CaféZupas . But, the way it sets up a “favorite” is annoying! If you set up a “favorite”, it sets it up to the location you ordered it from! Crazy! It should set up ONLY the food item as the “favorite” so that way you can order your favorite food item from ANY location! The location should NOT be tied to the favorite food!

If I could give this zero stars I would. I ordered everything though CaféZupas and it was confirmed and for curbside. When I got to the restaurant and checked I’m here no one was coming. Which led me to calling the restaurant and they didn’t even have my order. Everything on my side submitted, was confirmed, got a confirmation email, and was charged. They had no clue when I told them my order name. I had to go in and show confirmation which completely obliterates the reason for curbside. App - 0

I didn’t immediately sign up and continued as guest. I was able to place three items in the cart. When I went to pay it said I have to sign up. Once I did, the cart was empty. So dumb to lose the order. Make the user sign up or retain the order!

My wife and I love Zupas and now that there is an app for online ordering, we can get it even faster. The ONLY thing CaféZupas needs is Apple Pay. I wasn’t excited about having to enter my card number and I almost deleted CaféZupas because it didn’t have Apple Pay

I used CaféZupas because they had a free delivery promo happening only if you used CaféZupas . I usually use DoorDash anyway so the free delivery was what drew me in. It was a mistake. My order was insanely late. Why? Because after I ordered on CaféZupas , they sent the order to DoorDash anyway to have it delivered. It would have been much quicker, more effective, and less confusing for me to just order on DoorDash.

I would recommend programming to have your dressing/spreads able to be place on the side so you can put them on yourself. Also adding a feature to request extra dressing or extra sandwich spread, ex honey mustard.

App works fine but whenever a notification pops up on my phone or a coupon, it doesn’t show up on CaféZupas inbox. What is the point ?

What if you want dressing on the side? Didn’t see an option for it. What if you remember what something looks like but can’t remember the right name? Pictures would be nice.

CaféZupas works fine to order, but it’s constantly giving me notifications that I can’t actually check because nothing shows up in the “inbox” section.

I’m a fan of Zupas, and appreciate they created an app. CaféZupas is easy to navigate, but twice now I can’t order because the card verification times out. I was able to call and use the same card, so it wasn’t the card getting declined. Great app, just needs the final function.

Hard to customize foods, can’t see the menu unless you choose to order

Either CaféZupas is full on missing features, or the least intuitive food app I’ve ever used. Can’t even figure out how to use it and have to use the website instead.

After so many years of being in business you still have no rewards program?! The food is great but honestly, it’s very disappointing to know you can’t rack pints for being an extremely frequent customer.

Worst app ever. Why do they need my location? Also i can’t find CaféZupas to even enable location services in settings and there was no prompt/request to allow. Why can’t I just search for the location? Dumb!

This is one of the worst restaurant apps I have ever tried to use. It is not intuitive and virtually impossible to order a try 2 combo. Very poor leadership to allow CaféZupas to be available, let alone tout it. What a shame because I love their lemonade and food is ok. Will lessen my visits because on inconvenience, especially during corona virus changes.

Perfectly adequate app if you already know what you want. Menu items have no description though (at least not in pick 2) so you have to try to customize everything to actually see ingredient. Also does not have a pickup option for ASAP which is always nice when you are just ordering ahead.

I thought the online delivery was great, but now there is an App!! Cafe Zupas you are making this too easy, 5 stars!

My app never lets me login. Every time I’ve tried, even in store, it tells me my information is wrong. Tried to reset my password, got the email fine so they have the correct email, same story with the new password. Was really excited to have CaféZupas , but can’t actually use it.

Got most of the way through my first order and then deleted app. You don’t need to know my birthday to make me a sandwich. Also, get ApplePay. I’m not putting my credit card number in your app.

Easy to use, but all i order is soup to go an CaféZupas makes me wait 15 minutes to get it so it’s faster just to go through the regular line 🤷‍♀️

American fork is my favorite location ever they are so nice and friendly!!

Says location is closed when I know it closes at 9, I tried ordering at 8 and it wouldn’t let me
