85C Bakery Cafe Reviews

So far I’m largely pleased with 85CBakeryCafe . It needs some tweaking to improve the user experience, I feel.

I experienced no issues signing up for an account and don’t see anything really wrong with using the card or redeeming rewards which are finally nice to see!

A couple nice-to-haves ....
1) Persistent log-in. It’s very annoying now days to be asked to log in after x amount of time. Like the Starbucks app, maybe a persistent logged in state and ask for my thumbprint or whatever only when redeeming and not asking for a password.

2) Ability to scan card anytime in the transaction. Sometimes a cashier is very quick and if I’m still pulling up my card (because I have to log in) and they already started pricing my items he or she has to do double work to clear it out, scan my card, and continue. I suspect this may be due to the point-of-sale system and not the reward program itself, tho.

Otherwise I’m sure 85CBakeryCafe will continue to get better over time. I’ve given it 4/5 for the login issue and hoping to see it improve.

The points required to redeem food items suddenly increased this month. Use to be 1 point equals 10 cents worth. For example, it would require 20 points to redeem a free Berrytale ($2 worth) in the past. Now, all of a sudden, they raised it to 30 points. And a lot of these deals had an expiration date of say 12/31, so I expected to be able to redeem them later on...but now they’re gone. I’ve accumulated quite some points as I’ve been a frequent customer, but now I’m waiting for the old deals to come back where the points are worth the same as before. I may even stop going to 85 Degrees all together if they don’t bring the deals back.

They had a 100k member deal for 85 cents sea salt coffee, but the deal did not show up in the offers. When I asked the cashier, she told me that she couldn’t do anything about it after 5 minutes and told me to call the customer service line. So I had to call the customer service line, but it turns out there was nobody to answer the call and I had to leave a message, and am still waiting for a call back. I just think it is a little ridiculous that I have to go through so much time and effort for something that could be easily resolved and for something that is their mistake.

Worked fine on my first phone. When I upgraded and switched phones I tried to login and reset my password. Well it says that a new password was sent in 85CBakeryCafe but I never receive it on my phone. Now my account is in limbo since it goes by phone number and theres no way to receive the new password. I reread some reviews and there have been people having this very same issue over a year ago. So… basically don’t bother or use a google number that you can change and dump your previous points on.

Have had 85CBakeryCafe for a year, 85CBakeryCafe seems to never change the items offered on the deals, they stay the same and are only subject to change at the end of the year, this leave it to having no variety for choices, the only slice of cake offered for free right now is the tiramisu and this hasn't changed for the last few months. Also 85CBakeryCafe doesn't have the feature to order for pickup through it. 85CBakeryCafe needs some updates!

I dont know what happened but 85CBakeryCafe is not working anymore. It used to work fine then recently it logged me out and won’t let me log back in. I tried to reset my password and it keeps on saying “password reset sent to your phone number” but I never received any.. It also wont let me re-register since my phone number is on their records already.. ugh, it’s quite frustrating. I dont think they care about fixing it either..

I have been using 85CBakeryCafe with no problem until today. I am unable to open 85CBakeryCafe . System busy. It is not my internet. It also doesn’t work at home either under WiFi. Please repair.

85CBakeryCafe , unlike with other’s phones, works perfectly with mine. I’ve gained quite a few points now since going to the lovely cafe. There are no problems for me, which tells me that some people in the reviews need to get better phones. Keep up the amazing work, 85°C Bakery!

I purchased cakes and coffee on 1/16 and 1/20 and scanned the barcode before pay. Even asked if my reward number was scanned correctly and the employee said yes. But I don’t see any points by now. Where’s my points??! I got points that was purchased on 1/21. But not the other two. I even have receipts. I went to the store they said call the customer service. I called the customer service and no one answers so I left message. Will they call me back?? We will see.....

I think 85CBakeryCafe should be an app you can order off of, it be a great addition for the bakery’s mobile services

Looks like I haven’t been earning any points the last few times I’ve been to 85 Bakery. Everytime I use 85CBakeryCafe to scan and earn points it wasn’t accounted for. I just realized it after checking and noticing the purchases made. Unless the cashier isn’t scanning it in correctly and I’m not earning points.

I enjoy 85°C Bakery Cafe but 85CBakeryCafe lacks when it comes to adding points! It would be great if you could add points AFTER the purchase vs having to remember to scan your app during the purchase! I’ve forgotten to get my app scanned quite a few times and hope I can add points after purchase soon!

Proper reflection of 1 star rating. I just downloaded 85CBakeryCafe for the first time on an iPhone X. I’m having too much trouble verifying my phone number and finishing up my account. If you really don’t care about the rewards, don’t bother because it’s going to give you annoying troubles while trying to redeem them. Kind of as if they don’t want you using them in the first place.

85CBakeryCafe suddenly logged me out of my account and I can’t log back in because I can’t recall my password. But when I asked for a new password it doesn’t send me one. Try to reregister but cannot because they say I already have an account w my cell number. SO FRUSTRATING!! And calling customer service doesn’t work. They do not call back.

I’ve been trying to get my phone registered but it claims it’s taken, but when I attempt to get a reset of password, no text is sent to me with new password. Also, no sign of emails if registered at all is being received to my emails that I would normally use for these types of rewards.

Help!!!

So far it works perfectly! I’ve been using 85CBakeryCafe for about 3 months now and haven’t had any troubles. I was able to redeem points for a couple free pastries! 😊🙏

Every time I am at the register, they ask if I am signed up. Finally downloaded 85CBakeryCafe today and tried to set up before I go in. Error. Then I read all the other reviews, I guess I won’t waste more time. And no, I do not want to talk to customer service about this. Maybe good old punch cards would be better, one punch per drink or every $5 spent!

I’ve been trying to redeem my rewards/deals. But every time I go to the store, 85CBakeryCafe won’t work (said check connection/retry). The store employee said I need WiFi to connect 85CBakeryCafe , so I asked what is the store’s WiFi name? And he said there is none.
So...how is 85CBakeryCafe EVER going to work while you’re in the store???
Please fix this.

I called the corporate and told someone that reset password link doesn’t work. She seems to ignore the issue. The reset link didn’t work, it said new password had sent to your phone or email. Seriously, I have tried more than 20 times and got no new password that suppose to come through my email or my text.

I got 85CBakeryCafe because it clearly says in the description that you can send gifts. I assumed maybe a giftcard or ecard. There is no option anywhere in 85CBakeryCafe to give gifts to friends.

I finally got around to getting the rewards app. Downloaded 85CBakeryCafe just fine but when I try to sign up for an account I keep getting a message that reads “(403) Forbidden”. I’ve tried multiple times and keep getting the same message. I’m gonna go grab me some coffee and pastries from 85° to make up for my sadness of 85CBakeryCafe .

85CBakeryCafe won’t load when I try to scan to my barcode at the store, but when I use it elsewhere it works fine? Please fix this issue and listen to your customers’ needs. I was excited to use 85CBakeryCafe , but I’ve been disappointed since I can’t boost my rewards due to 85CBakeryCafe ’s technical issue.

I usually order by kiosk since it's faster but I haven't been able to collect any points if I scan my badge there. What a waste.... Hope there's an explanation why.
