The store manager (I do not know her name) always displays great customer service. She actually likes serving her customers 😊 - it shows in the manner she interacts with you. This could seem minor to some, but I am impressed that she opens the individual, single serve package of carrots 🥕🥕& washes 💦 them (I saw 👀 her put on a fresh pair of gloves 🧤 before she did this). I commented to her that I was delightfully surprised, and she said “of course you have to wash the carrots because you do not know how they were handled before being individually packaged”. Again, this is superior customer service to me - I don’t think most eateries would do this. Yes, this means I will be back. I will support 💵 businesses that take care of customers. 😁

Finally Corner Bakery has a rewards club integrated with their app. This was great start to customer engagement. The application has basic functionality for ordering and sometime rewards and discounts work. When you customize an item it could make wording more clear on confirming selections. There are numerous times that I have to wait to order at counter as CornerBakeryCafe does not honor discount codes even when in store. Fix this… CornerBakeryCafe should work like other restaurants allowing order from app versus counter - it is not like you have kiosks.
It is now summer 2021 and new menu items are out. CornerBakeryCafe however can’t be used for those items.
Overall it looks like Corner Bakery could improve service and reduce costs by investing in CornerBakeryCafe.

Today we called to see what the wait was. The young lady said there were tables available. So we were on our way!

20 minutes later when we arrived the place was empty and the cashier told us that they were only taking online orders……

So we went outside and placed an order. However, the $5.99 coupon would not work. So I asked for help… then a crew leader came out and told me that the coupon said no online orders even though the first line of the coupon states dine in, take out or carry out….. so she went in back to ask the manager… she returned, no sight of the manager, and all she said was “I’m sorry”.

I’m sorry does not provide solutions! Nobody made any attempt to find a solution. Then I was told that the registers were down and they could not take any orders…. So we paid 40% more than we needed to because the “Kids” were hungry. And we were already an hour into this horedeal.

I understand C-19 restrictions, masks, and keeping our distances but whey open if the service is going to be so frustrating that you never want to return. It was like all workers were zombies. I can only hope that the cook can come through. We will not return for at least a year because it’s going to take at least a year to get back to normal it seems…

Working and getting lunch can be difficult, especially on Friday’s. Six employees placed orders for pick up at 12 pm. One of the orders accidentally got placed for pickup at 10 am! I immediately called and spoke to the manager Tony, to get it moved to 12 pm. He could have told me at that time he was deleting the order and I would have to order again, but he didn’t! Also, two of the orders went through on the Corner Bakery phone app and said order placed! But In fact they did not go through! Instead of calling the customer, they sent an email saying there was a problem with the payment! Remember, it’s Friday and we are at work. Not looking for emails on our phone! We got there to pick up our food and three of them had to be paid for by the employee picking them up. I am very disappointed and we may not be going back!

I love eating in Corner Bakery, until today when I ordered for delivery that I discovered that they don’t care for the safety of their customers. I ordered online and my food was delivered through DoorDash. When I received my food, the plastic bag wasn’t sealed and the pasta sauce was all over the plastic. I called them to complain but the manager who I spoke to said that they never seal the plastic and just like that, she tried to credit back my credit card and refund the food. That’s not my point though. In the height of COVID-19, they should make sure to seal the bag before handing it to the delivery person. What if the driver has Covid and spreads the virus to the food? On top of that, the manager was rude and just brushed me off. She gave me no explanation and no apology. Corner Bakery must train their frontliners, specially the managers on how to properly handle complaints.

Been a customer for years. Love the service and the food. I gave you 5 stars to support, but CornerBakeryCafe needs work. I usually pay at the store with Apple Pay but there doesn’t seem to be Apple Wallet option in CornerBakeryCafe (although the description says it does). You guys also need to integrate the rewards with the payment and Apple Wallet. As an example, Jimmy John’s has a simple great way of integrating these. Approach the counter, get the phone, pay and get the rewards in one simple Apple Pay transaction. It just works and I was expecting the same. Hope you guys make progress!

No complaints about the food- just the way it is prepared for take out. There is never enough dressing in the salad containers. When I specifically order extra, they give me 2 containers that are both 1/3 full. Also, the new rectangular salad holders are impossible to eat out of. The serving size is great, but the container is full, so if you take a forkful, ingredients fall out. Then you must try to remove the top layer of ingredients into the lid and then mix them in as you go, which doesn’t work too well.

CornerBakeryCafe is good. I used it to order my breakfast most mornings and the point system is really good. I would like to be able to customize my order a little more. Right now you can take off and ingredient but you can not add an ingredient.

Placed an order on CornerBakeryCafe for curbside pickup. It had me enter my car information and everything. I drive to the store, parked in the labeled pickup stall and sat there for about 10 min. Nothing. No text saying the order was ready and no one came out. I finally went inside to see if the order was ready and there it was in the “Pickup” section. What happened to Curbside?!! Then when I finally got home they gave me a croissant instead of chips. Chips are clearly on the order. I could see if the gave me a dinner roll but a croissant? Just par for the course at Corner Bakery I guess. I do t even know why I keep coming back.

We cater large breakfast orders for our company but like to schedule ahead by a day or two. CornerBakeryCafe only allows you to schedule later for the day - either that or CornerBakeryCafe has a bug that doesn’t allow you to put the next day cause every time I try it goes back to todays date. I’m sure I’m not the only one who likes to order ahead and they should really improve this function. Because of this I haven’t been able to actually explore the rest of CornerBakeryCafe since that’s the main tool I need. Panera Bread will just keep getting our large orders since they allow to schedule many days in advance.

Love their coupons, great service and healthy food. Seriously cannot go wrong here. Their breakfast is great, their lunch is yummy. They have healthy options, great service, friendly staff, affordable prices, you can order ahead. Their patio is adorable. Their coupons can save you a lot of money. If you sign up in their app you can save $5 off your first purchase. What’s not to love.

I placed an order online (HaciendaHeights) for 11 items to serve for my birthday get together at the park with my family. I called the store to make sure I placed my order correctly and Gil (manager) assured me that he will take care of everything at their end. Arrived on time to pick-up my order and when we are about to start eating I discovered lots of items missing—salads for all sandwiches, toasted garlic bread for the all pastas, extra side salad and bowl of chili. They messed up completely. I was furious!! I called the store back and manager not available to assist me. This experience ruined my whole day to have fun with my love ones. —- very very disappointed!!!

I love your app; however, there is not a place to add notes on anything. And i can’t order a vanilla or French vanilla latte. They syrups r not there… so I always have to call for them to adjust my order.
And on most of the food items, I can’t customize it… add avocado or add ham with the turkey… so if you could add a customize with more options that would be awesome! So that we can pay for what we get. I call it in and sometimes the items are extra charge. And there is no way to pay bc or it.

We love the restaurant and food - it’s always excellent. CornerBakeryCafe can and should be better. The registration form is long and requires too much info for today’s privacy minded folks. DOB and address should be optional. Companies are getting hacked left and right these days.

Payment method doesn’t use iOS standards and not integrated with Apple Pay so have to enter card info so again - security concern. I think I would’ve finished my order faster on the website.

We always have great service and food when we dined in. We used the drive-up service and the food was not to dine-in quality. The order was missing chips and the mac and cheese had very little sauce on it. I know we ordered about 1/2 hour before closing, but if they were low on their cheese sauce they should have called to let us know the dish wasn’t available. Check you order before pulling away to save yourself disappointment with your order.

I am a frustrated user. Downloaded CornerBakeryCafe , put in all my information, and its not reading my email address. When I try to create a new account it says email already taken. When I try to sign in it says invalid email address. So which is it? Please take a look at CornerBakeryCafe, because something isn’t reading properly. And after it let me put in an entire order, of which there are missing items as I go to Corner Bakery almost every week, it couldn’t validate my order. Very frustrating experience.

I love corner bakery food, but CornerBakeryCafe is subpar. First, signing up takes a lot of steps. Why do you need to know my address? Why have Sign In with Apple as an option if I still have to re-type my email in?
Why isn’t Apple Pay an option? Manually entering my CC is such a hassle and very inconvenient
Why do I have to enter my phone number after adding my credit card? Can’t you get this from my account info?
Why is it when I customize an item, I have to hit “add to basket” twice? Can’t there be a save button under customizations?

Also, one last complaint... on my iPhone 11 Pro, the bottom button bar is too close to the bar I swipe to go home, and makes it difficult to press buttons under some circumstances.

CornerBakeryCafe is a good start but needs work!

I am using CornerBakeryCafe on an iPhone 11. The pick two is very hard to use. You think you picked something and it turns out you didn’t. The add item button does not work. So then you press the second of the pick two items and you get an error message that you never picked the first item. So you have to go back and order again. It took me over 15 minutes to order four items. It should have taken me less than 3, in my opinion. I love the Corner Bakery, but CornerBakeryCafe is not making it easy.

They are always happy to make corrections and help. Occasionally one is a bit cranky but, hey, aren’t we all now? I loved them on Brookhurst when we lived there and happy to find this one close by. The manager was very helpful when I didn’t understand CornerBakeryCafe or free delivery special. Our favorites are breakfast and the new breakfast bowl, uptown turkey sandwich and salads.

I’ve used the application to order about a dozen times. Fantastic linkage between application and the weekly specials. My orders have been 99% accurate. Very happy with curbside service. I have always loved the food and now I can get curbside delivery. Awesome restaurant and awesome food and now awesome technology

I stopped going to Corner Bakery over a year ago due to limited menu items. CornerBakeryCafe only has a few items in each category, and no descriptions of what the item includes. At least make it sound appealing! Thought I might give it another chance for curbside pickup, but CornerBakeryCafe has to improve.

I am unable to login to the “new” app. Attempted to use Sign In with Apple and FaceID. It just redirects me back to the email login. Just because you added a new splash screen doesn’t mean it’s a new app. Hire Panera’s developers...

Why such a limited salad menu. Bring them all back and I’ll be sure to return. Otherwise, there is Pot Belly, Panera and many other mom/pop restaurants.

I just want to give a compliment to the staff at the Norcross location. Dominique is awesome!!! Her customer service is superb! Dominic is also wonderful! And I met a new employee that was in training Nyeshia, she was super sweet! I can already see she’s going to fit right in very nicely, with the rest of the staff. Fasika is always Awesome whenever I come in. I LOVE The Corner Bakery, especially the Norcross #271 location!!! They ROCK!!!!

I have found the service at the 14th street Corner Bakery to be excellent. CornerBakeryCafe makes it so easy to get quick service and avoid long lines. The employees make me feel welcomed and a priority. I can't go a week without my chicken salad sandwich. Everyone should try one!! I love the smoothies too.

CornerBakeryCafe is incredibly less functional than their competitors. Doesn't support apple pay. Doesn't support iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. The back button is confusing (e.g., when browsing the menu the back button doesn't return you to the menu categories it takes you back to the previous function you were in, such as "find a store"). The menu isn't accurate to seasonal or regional offerings (things they serve in California don't appear in CornerBakeryCafe ). Overall disappointment.

I really like that there’s an app, but I think there should be a section where you can add notes about your order. I have a shellfish allergy (and have previously been sent to the hospital by cross contamination in corner bakerys food) and would like somewhere to note it.

This business is a delight to everyone who enters. App sometimes looks very website like, but if this company could add themselves to the list of ApplePay recipients that would make my day, because having to signup with another password would be sort of a hassle.

Seeing that my local Corner Bakery had 3D scanners at the register, much like Starbucks for gold card users, I got excited to find out if they had a similar program. So, I downloaded CornerBakeryCafe on my brand new phone only to get the loading icon for 5 minutes. I promptly deleted CornerBakeryCafe . This is pitiful. Phones work too well and too quickly now, so companies like this can't cover up their crappy servers and lazy app development anymore.

CornerBakeryCafe is clunky and promotions codes do not work, despite validity. Error reads “offer not valid at this location,” which isn’t accurate. I downloaded CornerBakeryCafe so I could use promotional codes sent in the emails, because they cannot be used through Yelp. They are useless here as well. I’ll continue driving to the place to make my order, which is faster than using CornerBakeryCafe.

Corner Bakery didn't invest much in this "app" - it's mostly a direct link to their mobile site. As such it is difficult to navigate, somewhat kludgy to use, and missing features that Panera, Starbucks and others have implemented.

Want to order a muffin for breakfast? Can't do it with this.

Trying to get a quick order in while waiting at a stoplight? Better hope it's a long light.

Just another case of "checking the box" and saying "yes, we are hip and have a mobile app" without really caring about the customer's experience.

As another reviewer said, Panera figured this out. How come Corner Bakery can't?

Delicious food always. Always something great to try on the menu. I like the upgrades that surprise and delight you with every bite and dish. The soups, sandwiches and entrees keep me coming back. And, yes the brownies and mini chocolate Bundt cakes—DELISH!!! Thank You CB.

A Corner Bakery just opened near me and I love it! CornerBakeryCafe makes ordering ahead so convenient! I love that the restaurant offers all day breakfast, however, CornerBakeryCafe does not allow you to order breakfast all day! Fix that, and it would be perfect!

Perfect app except I can't order smoothies from it! It's convenient until I still have to wait in line to order the smoothie.

We ordered the power bowl breakfast and it was so good!! The service was great and a server named Samen was very pleasant to talk to and very helpful with questions we had about the restaurant. We will definitely be back!
