Meggie, why didn’t you create an app that encourages success? An app that helps people talk to their employers about compensation? An app that helps people? Instead, Meggie’s sexist propaganda is shared. A claim is made: Women don’t make the same money as men for the same job. PepTalkHer could have helped people succeed. It doesn’t do that though. Meggie, you’ve taken five steps backwards. You can be better than this.

I love the idea that PepTalkHer equips men and women with the ability to track their accomplishments and celebrate their wins. So often do people not properly write down accomplishments or undersell their service to a company. My biggest qualm is that, living in China, nothing loads when I try to track my first win, which I suppose is getting another year contract at my job with a 3% pay raise (as opposed to the 6% I was meant to receive, but I had to let my boss know I wasn’t interested in his sexual advances, I’m a married man with a newborn daughter), but I digress. I really wanted to track my accomplishments in such an upbeat and happy way that PepTalkHer promised, but I currently can’t get it to work. I’d change the rating if it did start working in my region.

This is an incredible app for me to track my career wins, from new internships to achievements at work. Reminds me to appreciate the hard work I’ve put in to get where I am !

Love tracking my wins at work and the this app resources encouraging me to negotiate my pay. Money conversations with my bosses are not easy so it’s good to have a reminder of all the things I’ve accomplished and value I’ve added to companies. this app has helped me feel confident to have the hard conversations and ask for what I’m worth. 100% recommend to everyone, including men!

I love how easy it was for me to set up my profile and then create my goals. We all benefit from accountability.

A great app to help you track your wins and take steps to increase your salary. Women not only work in the office but also at home yet we get paid less than our male counterparts.

This is such a smart idea! I love that it both prompts me to input my successes and inspires and motivates me to work hard and ask for my worth. It’s kind of like journalling with purpose - so good.

After researching and hearing about what I’ll need for my first review from mentors and friends I’m excited to have a space to write my wins, so I’ll have it all in one place to make it easier to ask for that raise and/or promotion!

PepTalkHer provides an amazing vehicle for people to learn how to advocate for themselves. Men tend to aggrandize minor accomplishments, while women refrain from bragging as we have all been socialized in this country from a young age. Pushy guys are tough, pushy women are bossy. As someone that has regularly seen this from a management perspective, I can’t think of a bigger problem facing our workforce than the nonsense around the gender pay gap. Kudos to this team!

Love this app for those moments when you need to remind yourself of your wins. It’s super easy to use, intuitive and will help women make informed decisions about their professional futures and what they deserve from them.

I don’t you people understand that the “pay gap” ended when the inequality pay law was passed during the 1980s stating that no business came under pay someone for there gender or race. The only reason men have a higher pay on average is because the fill a great majority of the jobs that have a higher risk of death or injury so those jobs pay more and women full jobs that are generally less intense like office jobs, daycare work, etc.

The gender pay wage gap is not real. At least not in the United States. If women were payed less than men why would companies even hire men. Why would a company even higher a man if they had to pay for them more. It doesnt make sense. It is proven that men work more overtime and are more likely to ask for raises. If anything women are paid a higher percentage. The United States Women’s team is paid a higher percentage of what they have made from audience. The Men’s are paid a lower percentage but paid more because more people watch them. Btw i made this review to mess with people.

I’ve just started using PepTalkHer and I’m already feeling the benefits. Documenting my wins has given me focus and boosted my confidence at work. I feel completely prepared to go into my next performance and salary review! It’s really easy to use too!
