Switchee app on my iPhone will not connect to the thermostat

My usually very reliable Housing Association has just switched the new thermostat I had installed to replace a 14yo one a week ago . During March to December I turn of the CH as I don't need it. I live in a 14 floor refurbished tower block. The HA has installed Switchee Thermostat units in every flat/apparently. I turned everything off like before. But my heating switches on RANDOMLY or is picking up a signal from another apartment???? I have tried everything to reset it or disable it via the SMART THERMOSTAT but I have no control. I have turned off all radiators except the main one as I'm scared the pipes will burst with all that pressure. As said as my 14yo with click, click sliders was failing . So the HA installed a new one by a CH expert (they said only CH experts could install them )yet when they imposed Switchee on me an electrician was sent!!! Any ideas as to the issue?? Incidentally my combi boiler hot water comes on when I turn on a tap. Yet now the HW light (and Radiator) light comes on for the CH but no light when I turn the tap!!!

How to fix Switchee app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Switchee app on iPhone
Update Switchee app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Switchee iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Switchee on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Switchee network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Switchee Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Switchee not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Switchee App
1. On android, goto Settings » Switchee » click [Force Stop]

Update Switchee to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Switchee App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Switchee » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Switchee.

Fix Switchee unable to contact server/ Switchee internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Switchee » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Switchee » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Switchee
