The app tells me I have a "rooted device". "Root access detected". What the fuck does that mean? The bartender downstairs says "never seen that before". There are no other humans to talk to. I want to turn on a reading light while my wife sleeps. Can't be done with provided switches, or iPad, but I can make the lights blue. Great. Big fucking deal. Right now I would very much like to find the person in charge of this electronic bullshit and punch them in the face.
