When I go into the app, it keeps showing “Something’s wrong” I just signed in to Apple Music and it says “Playlistly can’t find a valid Apple Music account” but my Apple Music account is valid and this needs to be fixed. I opened Apple Music and then I go back into Playlistly and still didn’t work. I pressed try again and it still doesn’t work.

I was expecting a simple utility to import playlists, but what I got was subtle psychological manipulation. This is what happens: You download the app and get it to import a playlist. It chugs along meaningully, even suspiciously slow (hard work matching songs!) and then, SUCCESS! you can see the results of ihe import.
Here i the first dark pattern. After the success, you are asked to rate the app. (no thanks, not now) the reason this appears at this point is because you haven't actually done anything useful, like import the data to Apple Music. When you do so, you're confronted with the limitation, 20 song max. Now, I could do 20 songs by hand, the point of an app like this is to import a mass of songs.
Only at this point are you informed that this is a paid app. Why not just say this at the beginning? Well, it wants to put you through the work, go through the entire process of importing and THEN tell you it is a paid app. This is exploting the sunk cost fallacy.
Because of this dishonesty, I feel manipulated and I will not be purchasing this app and I am writing this review to let the developer know that manipulating uses should never be rewrded. .

Great UI but shortcuts are limited to playlists with 300 songs or less even with pro. I have to go through the app to sync a playlist even though it gives you an option to set up a shortcut that will fail?
You could set up an automation to sync playlists every day in the background without this limit. Really ruins it for me.
