When I go into Playlisty , it keeps showing “Something’s wrong” I just signed in to Apple Music and it says “Playlistly can’t find a valid Apple Music account” but my Apple Music account is valid and this needs to be fixed. I opened Apple Music and then I go back into Playlistly and still didn’t work. I pressed try again and it still doesn’t work.

I was expecting a simple utility to import playlists, but what I got was subtle psychological manipulation. This is what happens: You download Playlisty and get it to import a playlist. It chugs along meaningully, even suspiciously slow (hard work matching songs!) and then, SUCCESS! you can see the results of ihe import.
Here i the first dark pattern. After the success, you are asked to rate Playlisty . (no thanks, not now) the reason this appears at this point is because you haven't actually done anything useful, like import the data to Apple Music. When you do so, you're confronted with the limitation, 20 song max. Now, I could do 20 songs by hand, the point of an app like this is to import a mass of songs.
Only at this point are you informed that this is a paid app. Why not just say this at the beginning? Well, it wants to put you through the work, go through the entire process of importing and THEN tell you it is a paid app. This is exploting the sunk cost fallacy.
Because of this dishonesty, I feel manipulated and I will not be purchasing Playlisty and I am writing this review to let the developer know that manipulating uses should never be rewrded. .

Great UI but shortcuts are limited to playlists with 300 songs or less even with pro. I have to go through Playlisty to sync a playlist even though it gives you an option to set up a shortcut that will fail?
You could set up an automation to sync playlists every day in the background without this limit. Really ruins it for me.

Pro is great found songs I didn’t think Apple would have , only down side is the up down arrow at the bottom right is covering the edit button so I can’t adjust the last song in the playlist I’m importing

Compared to other apps I have used, this one has been the most accurate by far. Appreciate that pro was a one time purchase as well. I’d love to see a playlist sync between services feature in the future (which might be out of scope but thought I’d make the request anyways 😅).

It’s cheaper than all the other apps I’ve seen and it doesn’t take long I had to move over 2000 songs and I did it quick. And for the pro is only $2.99

Non-functional without payment.
The only annoying aspect is that it constantly asks you to write a review. Hopefully it will stop asking otherwise I give it less and less stars.

But I love Playlisty so much! I used to pay 5.99 a month to transfer my playlist and here we are with a one time fee less than half of that and with more functionality!

Very few smaller app developers combine effortless simplicity in execution with a customer-focused pricing model. I’d happily pay the lifetime fee yearly to support development and keep it cheap for other users. Highly recommended for music lovers who use multiple platforms.

An extremely well designed app that makes moving playlists a snap! The price for pro is so worth it in terms of raw time saved. Great work devs!

Useful playlist transfer app and a nice replacement for online services. Plus it only has a one-time in-app purchase.

I had been using Tune My Music, but this is way easier. Appreciate the paid version is a good price and not a subscription

Imports playlists seamlessly, with customization options for those that want even more control. Love that it even offers to save the playlist cover. Bought the Pro upgrade within thirty seconds of using it. Nice work, team!

I’ve tried 100% of all other programs and apps on the market. This is the only accurate option.
It also has tons of other helpful features.
It’s crazy how inexpensive this is and how it’s literally the most valuable app out of all the other options.

Saved me hundreds of hours of work. Interface is a little klunky, but it’s fast, incredibly accurate, and downright cheap!

I have been trying to find some solid music to add to my library and Playlisty has really done a great job at helping me put together new music that I love! I love the feature that not only checks Spotify/YouTube for music you like but it also pulls up other playlists of a lot of other sources for you to checkout as well which really takes a lot of the work out of me scraping the online world to find new stuff out there. I highly reccomend to anyone that enjoys music 100%

Great app and well worth the cost of pro. One suggestion I have would to be able to remove songs when they are no longer on the source playlist. I mostly use it to move my discover weekly playlist to Apple Music but it currently appends the new songs to the playlist and doesn’t get rid of the old ones. On one hand, that’s a pretty handy option for keeping all those songs but I’d like to have a cleaner playlist too.

With Playlisty I was able to update my iTunes library from old 256 bit music to Dolby, lossless Apple Music.
I did this by exporting my playlists with 'Export for iTunes App' to M3U playlists 1st. Then I imported them with this app. Tracks that did not have Apple Music counterparts kept their AAC files intact. this app also identified close matches. Pretty slick!
I'm eager to use their other sources to curate from.

Thank you devs for an extremely generous free tier. I had an Apple Shortcut that did this but Playlisty is a lot easier to use. Even a simple way to add album artwork (workaround thanks to Apple). Almost too good to be true!

Worked perfectly and was $3. Absolutely worth not having to type in 10,941 song titles.
by _ThebigY
Got this and paid for pro because SongShift didn’t work well. Playlisty worked perfectly, easy to use and copied over playlists without error. Worth it

This is the simplist app with the best functionality I have used in a long time. It is simple and reliable as a clock on the wall. You will not be disappointed.

I tried Songshift, based on reviews and recommendations from other sites and wasted $6.99. It missed about 10-20% of my playlist songs… that Apple Music actually had! (even after showing me a match).
Then I tried this app and it caught and matched every song that Apple Music had… at less than half the price! Never missed a single one.
I love the match list that you can edit and fix before final export. That saved me lot's of time and gave me peace of mind. Thanks this app!

Playlisty is incredibly accurate with multiple algorithms. There’s room for improvement. But at $3 no complaints whatsoever. And they show what isn’t added. And the songs added which aren’t the same, but close enough. I hope they update it. 6/5
