App Wipes your Data

Opened Raivo today to find that the new update wiped out my account and wiped all the 2FA connections I had with Raivo . Do not use this unless you want to lose access to all your accounts. The developer sold Raivo to some unknown company. Look for a better authenticator app.

Trash

Raivo has been sold and is no longer the open source app it once was. Deleted every single one of my keys. Worse than useless, it’s actually harmful now. Shame on the previous developer and monetizers who bought it.

Locked me out of my accounts

With the purchase of Raivo by some random shady entity, my account’s tokens were deleted and now I am struggling to access many accounts. This is shameful and Apple should ban Raivo.

Deleted all my codes

Waited for this review and uninstall just incase they were able to push an update to recover all my codes, but after months they seem to be lost. How you can mess up this badly, I cannot fathom. Do not install Raivo.

2FA tokens deleted

After not using Raivo for a bit, I open it and all of my tokens have been deleted. Raivo has apparently been sold to a new owner and is no longer open source. When the sale happened it seems that each user’s tokens were removed.

If you care about our security why is our codes still lost

Weeks later, and all data is still lost. I returned to Raivo hoping things were fixed but nothing changed. For an OTP authenticator, this is unacceptable.

Erased my tokens, shady owners

I opened Raivo after a few months of not using it since my primary 2FA token (Yubikey) was not available. Raivo was my backup HOTP app for school. It erased
my 2FA tokens. Do yourself a favour and download 2FAS instead. I don't trust the new owners, and there is next to no information about who Mobime is.

Horrible app, wasted weeks of my life.

Look Elsewhere

This was a great 2FA app. It had a local, encrypted backup which I really appreciated. Then Raivo was sold to a company that deleted all my 2FA codes as a monetization strategy. Luckily, I still had the encrypted backup to migrate to an actually good 2FA app. Don’t download this. Go back to the search results and find another app.

deleted all 2fas

Raivo deleted all my 2fa stored. It looks like the original dev sold Raivo to a company which is now monetizing and resetting Raivo . It is now no longer open source. This is literally a nightmare scenario for open source apps on ios. UPDATE: it looks like bots are spamming with 5* reviews. Not a strong argument that Raivo store is safe without sideloading when apple allows this to happen...

Lost everything

Haven’t opened this app in quite a few weeks. Just did to log in to my password manager. Nothing. Everything gone. I thought I enabled iCloud backup but apparently not. Will be switching to another 2FA after this. Never again.

Do not trust and do not use

This used to be open source, dev sold out and gave it a money milking useless company who then pushed an update that wiped everyone’s tokens. Luckily I wasn’t too horribly effected, but many others were locked out of critical accounts. Reckless and comedically inept devs. Shame on you Mobime.

Cool app

I’m been enjoying it for the most part as my daily authenticator app

Easy recovery

I’ve been using this app for a while and it is a pretty useful app.

A Seamless Transition

Recently, I upgraded to a new phone and faced the daunting task of transferring data. To my dismay, I discovered all my authentication keys from the old device were lost in the process. However, the this app App provided a silver lining with its iCloud backup option, and the ability to create a hard copy backup. This feature was a lifesaver, making the transition smooth and efficient, taking less than a minute to complete. In contrast, I encountered significant difficulties with my Microsoft Authenticator during the switch. I am immensely grateful for the this app App's seamless process. Thank you!

Way better than others

Happy with Raivo. I ditched all the others.

Simple and better than SMS

Thanks to the iCloud backup, it was easy to transfer this to a new device

Been using for more than 2 years

Open source, not a scam! I’m sorry that some experienced difficulties with the bug, but no body asked me to pay!

Amazing 2FA client

Usually, getting a phone phone is always a bit stressful because you are worried about transferring your authentication apps. But this app and iCloud it worked seamlessly. Amazing open-source app, couldn’t ask for anything more!

My fave Authenticator!

I’ve tried different authentication tools over the years and this one just works well and it pleasing to the eye too.. I haven’t had any issues with it in the 6-10 months I’ve been using it! Keep up the good work!

Excellent and open source
