My Barometer and Altimeter Reviews

I deleted and then again downloaded MyBarometerandAltimeter. I ended up not using it as the nearby international airport, NOAA WEATHER, and Weather Bug are relatively consistent in providing my local barometric pressure. MyBarometerandAltimeter ALWAYS opens to 995 (I use mbar setting) and never changes! Another fault: the Contact tab does not open as I wanted to inform the developer of my issue; but no can-do. I assume the altitude information is dependent upon barometric pressure; so that information is questionable - though somewhat close to my Garmin map data but still not useful to my need. In summary: take the less than 30 seconds to get accurate data from a reliable, authoritative app source along with other weather data that provides context, e.g., forecast.

I had no idea that I could get Barometer on my iPhone. I have been having trouble with my old joints and wondered in the pressure had something to do with it. It always seemed that I would hurt when the weather changed. Now all that I need to do is to check MyBarometerandAltimeter . MyBarometerandAltimeter also has a history so I can see the trend.

and i NEVER say that. i have arthritis, and being able to track exact times when my pain is bad is SO helpful. this truly has added a whole other level to taking care of my pain. THANK YOU and please let me remove ads😅

MyBarometerandAltimeter WAS fantastic until the most recent updates when it added a commercial I very other minute and in between every page you click to! It’s ridiculous! I know apps need a way to stay viable, but with this many commercial interruptions, I’ll just delete MyBarometerandAltimeter and find another! I’d rather pay a small fee to purchase MyBarometerandAltimeter with no commercials than deal with this! It was such a great app too!

Last update crashes when trying to open app iOS 13.3.1 other than that good app usually spot on I use it for barometric pressure in my area.

I touch MyBarometerandAltimeter icon, a screen comes up, and the thing just goes away immediately within a second. I tried shutting off the phone and restarting; same result. I am running iOS 14.4, and finding problems with the other barometer apps not returning accurate data, so I tried this. Wondering what happened with the Barometer function on iPhone X? Is it no longer functional?

Great app but the ads have to go. I would pay to get rid of them but I guess that is not an option yet. Most annoying is the ads that pop up and can’t be closed...especially the political ads - NO thank you please!!

Has everything you would need for a basic weather station. Also has altimeter. I have not had any issues with it.

Great app until recent update. That said, the developer was quick to fix the glitch. This is the easiest, most straight forward barometer out there! Recommend.

The functions & features impressed me, I thought this is a keeper, I was wrong. The annoying ads disrupted MyBarometerandAltimeter too often & for too long. I was willing to pay to eliminate ads, went to do so but no such option. That single defect caused me to replace it with a different app.
I’m happy with the undisrupted replacement app.

Was there a recent update? I was using MyBarometerandAltimeter just fine for the past month or two, but now when I go to open it, it immediately closes. Please fix!

I had to delete & then reinstall it as it showed it was open, although would not respond. Otherwise it’s been relatively trouble free.

His app is not even close to my analog barometer, another app, or the national weather service (which are all pretty close). I’m wondering why MyBarometerandAltimeter rating is so high when there are many negative reviews...

I love MyBarometerandAltimeter, as long as there aren’t ads I cannot X out of or escape no matter how long I wait.
Ridiculous! I understand things need to be paid for but, not at the expense of my time & frustration.

This is a great ap. With that said, the ads are plentiful and get in the way of using the ap. I would gladly pay for an ad free version however, I cannot find a way.

Accurate and rich with useful information.

This sight is the greatest thing I’ve ever used. Great for ice fishing can’t wait for summer and use on soft water!!! Thank you!

MyBarometerandAltimeter is great. The constant pop up ads and political ads that can’t be closed ruin MyBarometerandAltimeter . Would gladly pay a few bucks for ad free...and than it would be a 4 or 5 star app. Until than, 1 star and deleted is best I can do.

Can’t stop all the pop ups and I have to close and start over 3 times to get to app

The suggestion of a one time fee might help but I think it would be very high to make up for the loss of ad income; too bad for us.

Tap and tap the little X to get the ad out of the way to see the barometer. Very frustrating.

Annoying ads that cant be closed

Can’t calibrate it. Continual stream of adds pop up. No instructions.

Altitude doesn’t work
