Someone else said it in the reviews already so I know it has to be the YoLink app system that is messed up or the devices are not operating after new updates went out on the phone. Our power shut off in the whole area and when it came back on my hub was having nothing but problems. The hub connects and disconnects all day long and night long. I’ve tried resetting, logging out, deleting the app and reloading, and the problem continues. I’ve tried to get help from YoLink but I haven’t got any responses yet. Also all my other devices are going haywire too and I’m getting sent false reports or they are lagging for hours or days when I get the alert. Something is definitely wrong now with the YoLink app or system, but I would stay away from it until they are able to address these problems if they even try to address the problems. But this system is definitely not worth putting money into or subscribing for a monthly service fee if YoLink can not come up with a fix it solution. Also customer service needs some help as well. This is the first time that I’ve had to contact YoLink and ask for help, and so far I haven’t received any call backs or any email responses from them. Right now I would rate YoLink a Zero star . I rated YoLink a five star before and I really loved using this system. But with YoLink’s crappy customer service and all their devices are starting to malfunction , it’s not looking good for this company and product.

Faulty new products and lack of support

I’ve been a loyal user of YoLink products and have over 30 devices in use, but my most recent experience has changed that. The Water Leak Sensor 2 with the Water Sensor Probe does not work, despite the sales and marketing claims on their website. It’s been over a month since I purchased the device and I still haven’t been able to get a straight answer on what the problem is and how it will get resolved. I’ve been told it was a faulty device, and then was told it needed a firmware update. I was then told the hardware was fine but that it would work in the most recent update to the app. I updated the app yesterday with great hope it would function, but it was not addressed or solved. I now have a bricked device that doesn’t function and a flooded basement and sump. To make matters even worse, I get daily marketing emails advertising the WLS2 with the Water Sensor Probe which is infuriating. Come on, YoLink… you had a great product and great service. What’s happening there????
