App doesn’t track what I purchase

I used the old key fob for years, never a single problem. New fancy phone app was SUPPOSED to be just as good (minus getting points for gas purchases). Well, been using HolidayRewards now for sometime and I’ve racked up 1/10 of the points/credits/etc for the purchases. When I pay and use HolidayRewards I don’t see the credits going on and ask and IF an employee knows anything about HolidayRewards (I would be impressed as it seems training was a bit sparse) and the tell me it takes a bit for the credits to show up. And during the next couple of days I forget to check until I go back in and purchase more items (cookies, coffee, fountain drinks, donuts) and are that my credits are still not posted. At least the key fob gave a printout when I accumulated points. How I miss those day’s.

And my most recent favorite was a limited .10 cents off gas and the Holiday station near my house raised their rates for that promotional time making it cheaper to drive the extra few miles to another gas station to save money filling up my vehicle.

What a heaping pile of CRAP!

What’s the point if even having a rewards program if you can’t even use it and track your points spent?! Like the old key fob worked so much better and in Alaska we always had those big honkin rewards coupon for hitting 500 points. I always had the $.25 off per gallon discounts if I went there every morning. It helped out a lot on the old rewards system! Instead you decide to gut that program in exchange for the worlds WORSE rewards program, basically making rewards harder to get, more money, and no way to track how many points you get or don’t get. Your employees dont know what’s up with the new rewards system either other than it’s garbage and they don’t like administering it. So basically of you want to avoid bankruptcy potentially, revert back to the old system where we actually could see our rewards points and have the same programs in place. I loved the old system and remember, THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!! So fix it!

Go Back to the Key Fob.

So I go to the local Holiday for gas, I enter my number at the Pump, and as usual I put in $32 worth of gas. (This goes on every three days.) and everything “seems” ok I get my membership sales price for the gas, I print out a receipt for verification, it lists my number AND the .10 cents off for being a member.

HOWEVER!! For the last two months I haven’t been collecting point?!?!? I’m seeing on the receipt that I’m G2G but no points!! I should be near 50 by now... but NOTHING!!

Not to mention the 200 points I lost when they deleted my previous points using the key fob.

This system doesn’t work properly, go back to the old system, give me back my 200 point I EARNED. And when you get this MAJOR bug out of this system, then release it.

So I’ve tried several times entering my Phone Number at the Pump - $32
Put in as usual - NO POINTS!!

Several reviews here say go inside the store and scan your barcode like you’re using cash.. TWICE!!
*SHOCKER* BOTH TIMES, again... NO POINTS!! In all instances I get a receipt and my account phone number is on the receipt and it EVEN SAYS HOLIDAY REWARDS... only to verify two + days after the transactions I’ve NEVER Received MY POINTS.

This system is severely flawed, bring back the key FOB.

I’ve stopped filling up at all the Holidays until they fix the rewards system. There are more convenient gas stations I’ll be using til then.

Features not working

HolidayRewards (or even manually entering my phone number on the cash register touch screen, for that matter) isn't tracking my purchases anymore, so nothing is counting towards my free rewards. I understand they recently moved to a new system and these "rewards" are now under the "deals" tab, however it doesn't show any progress like the old method did. I like to buy these snacks and drinks specifically because of the earned rewards, so why even bother?

Also, suddenly I can't share my prizes in the Fuel Runner game. A message pops up saying, "UPS browser doesn't support sharing." This was never an issue until today. I uninstalled/restarted/reinstalled HolidayRewards and it gave the same error. I also tried it on another device, same thing. Is this a bug?

I hope HolidayRewards can improve to its previous state ASAP, otherwise I might as well just go to Casey's. 😂 At least you can earn cash back there!

Very nice!

I downloaded HolidayRewards when they first started the new Holiday Rewards program, and now that all the bugs are worked out, I think HolidayRewards is great. It’s very user friendly and the sign up was quick and easy. Everything’s organized nicely, and everyone is able to track their progress on HolidayRewards rather than being unsure half the time. It’s also nice being able to use your phone number in store to get points instead of having to always have your phone.

Doesn't Reward

I've used HolidayRewards several times in store while purchasing redbull and coffee as well as my phone number at the pump. My phone number does knock 10¢ off of the price per gallon (which is coincidentally now 10¢ higher than the surrounding gas stations). When I go into HolidayRewards to view my reward status though it "No rewards earned or in progress". I thought all the different category 'clubs' were cool until it turned out that my qualifying purchases don't actually accumulate towards anything. Even after waiting a couple days.

So, basically, holiday no longer has a rewards program and there's no point in bothering. For the time being, anyway.

Holiday App and Rewards

I am very disappointed in HolidayRewards. I love Holiday stores and appreciate the convenience of having 5-7 cents off my gas purchase readily available. I also enjoy the opportunity to Win rewards! However, HolidayRewards is deceiving as the reward section does not track the rewards you have won. I have won only twice and play almost every day- I deleted the text both times thinking HolidayRewards would track these and when I went to redeem, there was nothing. The employees at your holiday station had no idea how it worked- totally disappointing especially when I have to go out of my way to get to one of your stores.

Horrible change! Buy gas elsewhere!!

I will no longer be purchasing gas at Holiday station. I used to buy gas, snacks, pop, whatever as it’s close to work and I get reward points. Now rather than a little card to carry, I have to install an app. Ok...did that. If I want to pay at pump, I have to go IN to get scanned?!?! Ridiculous! I entered rewards # at pump three times...twice saying pay inside and once to pay at pump. All times it wouldn’t take membership #. Mgmt said I have to come in to get discount. Easy solution there -I WONT BE BACK. you’re going to lose lots of customers over this debacle.

Basic app that could/should be more developed

As stated in other reviews, the rewards mobile ID needs to be scanned BEFORE you pay (unlike the previous reward program that was scanned after you paid). There is no way for the cashier to add the rewards after the fact. There is also no way to add points using a receipt.

The three improvements I see are:
1. Allow scanning of the “mobile ID” barcode either before or after payment (OR TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES to ask if you want to enter a phone number/scan your rewards mobile ID before you pay)
2. Allow the cashier to add your points either by looking it up on the register or with a valid receipt
3. Allow users to enter in reward points using a valid receipt

Also “buy 10 get 1 free” on drinks is a big downgrade from the previous “buy 7 get 1 free” program. Rewards programs are supposed to get better, not worse.

It’s OK

Overall it’s a great app, but it’s got a few issues. The biggest being the inconsistencies between stores on acceptance. For example, in worthington, MN I can put my phone number in the pump to get the .05 price rollback. In shakopee, a store that accepts Cub cards, I have to scan the barcode in store and can’t use a phone number at all. This causes problems because my fuel card is restricted to pay-at-pump only. Other than that HolidayRewards is great

Horrible idea

So like most others here in Alaska Or elsewhere there is a holiday station I am dissatisfied with the application first I got told all my points on my key chain are invalid and was rudely told about the application. Now the application it self seems fine but it’s not everything went up in price as others have stated, horrible training if any at some locations around town and you have to remind the cashier you have the application. Fix it or I find another place to fuel up both my family cars.

Rewards not showing up, nobody can help me

Several weeks ago, my purchases stopped showing up under ‘rewards’ in HolidayRewards on my iPhone. I asked a worker at a store about it and I got the old “it takes a little time for that to happen”. Nope, not working. Finally, a week ago one store employee took my name and phone number and told me he’d submit a ticket and it should be handled in the next few days. Didn’t happen. LOVE the coffee. HolidayRewards ? Not so much.

Terrible bugs in app!

HolidayRewards needs a LOT of work done on it! Every time I try and use it or use my mobile ID it says information incorrect. I KNOW my phone number and I Know I’ve entered it in correctly, I’ve checked it several times and I’ve been right about it each time.
Overall it’s a great concept, less key tags on your key ring. Who desert anymore carry their phones with them everywhere they go? HolidayRewards will be great...once they work out all their bugs from it.

Making the simple difficult

HolidayRewards has greatly complicated getting rewards from Holiday. I used to be able to get my wallet out, pay for the items, then wave my wallet in front of the sensor to register my purchase. (The id was inside my wallet). Now in addition getting my wallet out I have to dig out my phone, launch HolidayRewards, select the barcode, show it to the clerk, and then put it away. This application slows down the entire transaction and is a discouragement.

What a RIPOFF!!!

You earn rewards, go to the store to redeem them and there’s no discount off the price or free item. Check your rewards and they were automatically eliminated - there’s no proof you earned them. The employee says, “I don’t know, there’s nothing I can do... and then admits I’m not the only one having this problem.

Bring back the old system - at least I had a piece of paper to prove my reward.

Horribly Implemented

Who approved the way this was implemented? My goodness. Staff don’t know anything about it other than “here’s a pamphlet”. You can no longer scan the barcode on HolidayRewards at the pumps to get rewards. Why? Because they probably haven’t updated their pumps to work with an app they released. My phone number isn’t linked to my old account for some reason so I lost all my previous rewards.

Remind me again... why should I get gas here?

It’s about time!

Love going to holiday. You can’t find a better now fresh coffee. Ground by the cup! Love it! Go there several times a day and always fuel up there never a problem with the fuel. I can’t say enough about holiday, it’s awesome

Race is on

HolidayRewards is simple however it would be nice if the store had a reader to detect HolidayRewards so I did not have to race the cashier to put my number in

App is no good.

App is awful. To many things wrong with it to tell every thing. I used to buy $100 worth of fuel a day easy and get good rewards for my purchases with the old system. Now I get hardly anything. If you don’t scan the barcode before your purchase inside you can’t get credit. I will start buying gas at the competition if their prices are better. Holiday lost my loyalty.

Go back to the keychain

The store staff said rewards would be expiring but did not tell us that printing our rewards would no longer be possible.
I had over 57 that were not printed on my key tag.

I don’t always remember to sign in with my phone now so over half of my purchases aren’t getting loaded into my account
