After years of being a customer, I noticed that WeShare overcharged me on a recent drive. After contacting customer support, I was told - in the rudest way possible - that the charge was correct and they wouldn’t do anything about it.

If you look them up on trust pilot, they have only 2 stars. Strongly recommend you avoid WeShare and go with one of the other services.

They will only take drivers licenses that are more than one year old. However they don’t explicitly state that anywhere in the application process. Don’t make the same mistake I did by giving them all of your personal info in the application. Absolute garbage, exploitative waste of time.

WeShareCarSharing says I need to call support in Germany but every time the customer service agent simply can't say a single word. 3rd time the Persian said “call again and hope that the next one can speak English”. What a smart way of running a support center...

If I am unable to register for the service through the browser or through WeShareCarSharing , my attention quickly turns to the many other car-sharing services in Berlin that actually function. Good luck!

Terrible verification system that doesn’t recognize standard passports. Back end support very slow so will have to wait days. Drivenow etc def better options

Wont open car more than halt the time the can’t end the rental for long periods

I enjoy driving the WeShare VW’s, but this service has more bugs than any other carsharing service. It has happened more times than I can count that I have tried to start a rental only to find that a “temporary” problem has arrived, preventing me from renting the car. I also have had issues ending a rental.

Further, I had the experience of parking a car within a parking zone that allowed parking within that period. Unfortunately no one rented the car in the next 17 hours, and the car was ticketed for being parked in that zone during a no-parking time. WeShare believes this is my responsibility, but my responsibility ends when I have parked the car. When I contacted customer service, I received no assistance - instead just the statement that I have to consider parking regulations for the next 72 hours (72 hours!!!) when parking.

This service has promise, but I need reliability and a customer service team that writes policies that make sense. I am deleting WeShareCarSharing and going to other carsharing services going forward. The low cost of the rental (although not so low, if you consider the 1 EUR starting fee) is not worth the hassle.
