My objective review

OFFTIME has a Pavlovic way of conditioning you not to use your phone when you have decided to set off time. Using ads to punish you for stopping your off time is fine, however punishing you for closing out of OFFTIME while the ad is playing by disabling OFFTIME for four hours is a bit ridiculous. Maybe 5 minutes to make sure people are sure about their decision (such as texting a friend to meet up for studying), but 4 hours is too much.
My minor suggestion is to improve the Timing feature. Still not sure as to whether it’s setting a specific time that it will remind me to get off, or whether it’s setting a specific amount of time away.
Overall, it’s a great app for keeping people off their phone, however, ultimately, it is up to the user to control their behavior.

OFFTIME is very functional and easy to use. My only criticism would be that, for some unknown reason OFFTIME either shuts its self off or just locks me out of OFFTIME . This doesn’t happens ever time but often enough to be an inconvenience.

I love OFFTIME, but it has a lot of glitches, ads, etc. Also, the alarm it makes should be custom, for some people find the sound OFFTIME makes when your phone is not on a table is upsetting, loud, and just unpleasant.

It randomly makes an alert even when you’re not on your phone at all. It would be 5 stars if this weren’t the case.

Great app!! Love the long ad punishment built in. Waiting 4 hrs to use OFFTIME when exiting before is kinda intense though. Also should transfer to Bluetooth devices connected to the phone to restrict music or other distracting noises playing in the background. For example, an Apple Watch connected to the phone can still be used even when this app is running so there should be something in OFFTIME restricting things like that

It would be better if OFFTIME warns you when you are using your phone and it is on a horizontal table, for example, it says it you dont back to the this app it would stop working
And it would work better if all the notifications were off while using OFFTIME except calls and sms and the notifications the user says not to block

I think OFFTIME should track our time so we can see how much did we spend off our phone while using it for example example to have a notification each week of how much time we spent off our phone just like the IOS screen time thing

i personally like OFFTIME; however the background noise it plays when we put our phone down doesnt seem necessary to me. the warning noise seems sensible to me since it’s constant and forces the person to put their phone down for the most part, but please remove the piano music or have an option to turn it off

OFFTIME has really helped me improve on skills I never thought I had to live a real social life. It’s helped me get into a more social interaction with other people and other special things I’ve been missing out on a lot. OFFTIME has really gotten me into the real world. It’s also helped me realize that it’s ok to be on your device as long as your not on it too long. Thank you this app

It sences when you pick up your phone so it puts on this alarm that wont go off until you pit your phone back down. So it is really useful for when you have a homework assignment and cant het it done because youre always on the phone.

when i first got OFFTIME i didn't know i needed it. and i tried to annoy it back (i know i laughed at myself later on too) but honestly, it disciplined me a lot and i will use it forever and ever. even when i'm no longer a student.
