Worthless

2022-05-21

I’m running a landscaping company and trying to do my weekly trips with as little driving as possible. StraightawayPowered is worthless wont load the addresses from a excel spreadsheet I’ve tried
To simply the addresses and it will find maybe 2 of 30 in the area I am in then the rest it randomly picks across the contrary. It stop StraightawayPowered anytime you get a message even if you stay in StraightawayPowered and ignore the message. StraightawayPowered if you do get it to work will give you a different route for the same list every time even if you re arrange your list to it’s optimum route it will change it and say congratulations we saved you x amount of time. And that’s if and only if you can keep it from crashing long enough to load your addresses and fix what it did wrong. StraightawayPowered seriously needs a lot of work before it is useful.

Needs ALOT of work

2022-06-22

StraightawayPowered initially seems pretty cool. Until you actually use it for a day. It’s metrics for mapping out addresses is extremely subpar and very often can’t find addresses you would think were well established.

It’s also EXTREMELY buggy... if you pay $10 for the month subscription, you can input more than 10 stops. Great. That is... until it decides completely randomly to think you don’t have a subscription and deletes anything over 25. Causing you to have to input everything from the start.

It freezes, crashes, and lags quite often. I tried to contact support on multiple occasions but you can’t reach anyone and their online support just doesn’t. If it’s your only option, it’s better than nothing. Otherwise, I would AVOID.

Needs Work

2022-07-23

I have a couple suggestions that would make StraightawayPowered perfect in my opinion

1. I would like the option to open addresses in Apple/Google maps. The built in mapping system is almost useless and not very accurate.

2. It would be cool to add notes to each stop and be able to see the notes with out having to tap on the stop or even color coding would be great.

The ability to take a picture of my manifests and instantly have every address appear on my route is a game changer and StraightawayPowered does an amazing job at doing that. I really wanted to like StraightawayPowered but the mapping system is very inaccurate and makes finding addresses and navigating a hassle. If I could set StraightawayPowered to open my stops in Apple or Google maps I would use it everyday.

Couple issues

2022-08-24

StraightawayPowered is great at route optimization, but has a couple flaws in other areas. Firstly, when taking pictures of the addresses, the detection is not super accurate. So i usually have to go through and double check and correct a lot of addresses, so i end up just entering them all in manually. Second the navigation sends me through a lot of alleys which is not ideal, and also registers a lot of addresses as being in the alleyways instead of the actual street. So a lot of the times i end up switching to another navigation app. And lastly every now and then, while navigating to the next stop, the screen will turn white and i have to close StraightawayPowered and go back the the stop i was on to continue my route. .. all that being said, i still use StraightawayPowered everyday, even though it’s a little frustrating at times.. and if those three issues are fixed StraightawayPowered would be perfect. All of the other features are great, and I’d still recommend it for the price and route optimization alone. Looking forward to an update with those bug fixes that i mentioned.

When it works, it’s great.

2022-09-25

I have had very mixed results with this program. It’s great to scan in your route but the GPS can’t always find the streets. I deliver in an area with a lot of new construction and have a real problem with the GPS not being able to find certain areas. I use Google Maps in conjunction with this program when it can’t find an address. Sometimes it will take me way off my route when it can’t find an address, so I have to check every time to make sure we’re going to the right location. The one thing I would really like to see is to have the program say the address when you arrive. I’ll keep using it, but hope that the GPS gets upgraded if nothing else.

Needs work but has potential

2022-10-26

I really like StraightawayPowered layout and idea. However there are some bugs that need to be fixed and it’ll be much better. I am experiencing a lot of moments where StraightawayPowered will freeze once I’ve optimized my route, went to my first stop or two and then it will freeze once I click for directions to the next location. The icon will pop up where it does a circular motion as if it’s working to get the directions, but it never gets past that point. Again, I feel StraightawayPowered has great potential and I’d really enjoy StraightawayPowered if it worked as supposed to. I’m hoping this issue will be resolved and I can utilize StraightawayPowered in the near future as it would really help me with my job.

Nice but not for my purposes

2022-11-27

I really wanted to love StraightawayPowered. I’m a UPS seasonal private delivery driver and was looking for help in organizing my crazy country routes. I do love that I can take a picture of my entire manifest and have it self populate. When the gps routing worked it was nice. The problem for me is that I was getting too many routing errors in my very rural route. I lost valuable time trying to find the actual property locations. Also I noticed that I couldn’t hit the check mark if I found the house on my own and then move on to the next one on my list. If you hit the check mark that should indicate stop completed and move to the next in sequence.

Pretty good

2022-12-28

7/21-Update: thanks for adding house numbers and responding to my comment! 😊
With the update, came the addition of the ‘tracing’ of the entire route. This is terrible (for me). It creates confusion and adds unnecessary information to the delivery I am on. I don’t need to know about the next one, I need to know about the one I am doing. With the optimization working well, I trust the order as being efficient, but this extra information has made my deliveries less effective as it’s easy to confuse current and future routes, and I’ve missed stops. Please turn that off, or make it an option you can choose to use.
5/21-I just started doing some deliveries for work and this is a great support. My only feedback is the lack of the house number being clearly available right before you reach the location. I’m still having to refer back to my paperwork, rather than just being able to just use StraightawayPowered as my single source. 4 stars

Put time windows on stops for optimization

2023-01-29

Some of my stops needs to be made within a window. So let’s say I start at noon and optimize there may be a stop I can’t make until 4. So to be able to optimize with a time window feature would be very helpful instead of passing the stop and back tracking later on. And there is still trouble with finding some addresses need a more updated and detailed address locator

Not bad at all

2023-03-02

Only 1 star evades you and it’s only because you don’t optimize to keep the deliveries to the passenger side. Had to double back more times than I care for, but the navigation is awesome and this has been a huge help to us parcel service workers... ::wink:: make those little adjustments and you will have a perfect app that folks would easily pay at least 20 bucks for.

Good but can be better

2023-03-31

Is no give option to choose what maps u want to use like other app some other let u use Apple Maps or google maps u can make it better

The app is pretty good

2023-05-02

I like the interface of StraightawayPowered simple to use only complaint I have about it is you can’t add notes to the stops I’m a fedex driver and it would be more helpful if I can label a stop as a bag or if it’s on the floor instead of shelf would just save a lot of time

Suggestions for improvements

2023-06-02

It would be amazing to have the various types of GPS map app selections availability and is automatically built into StraightawayPowered.

Also, it would be really awesome and very helpful if there is an option to prioritize or place in order the addresses that you want for example being able to not only have the closest addresses first but also being able to place the address that are priority deliveries aajead of the closest addresses.

Great App.... but.....

2023-07-04

Loved using StraightawayPowered ..... was able to type out all of the places I wanted to go in a day.... and input them into StraightawayPowered via the camera (just to give it a try I captured the info off the screen on my iMac). All was perfect......... until I lost service, all of my routing info went away.... and without an offline mode, I had to switch back to Google Maps to finish my day. Please add offline features and StraightawayPowered will easily grab 5 Stars.

Game changer!

2023-08-04

StraightawayPowered is a game-changer for delivery folks. The photo scanning feature works like magic and I can add 150 stops in ~7-10 minutes. I'm new to driving my route, but StraightawayPowered makes me feel like a pro. I'm usually one of the first ones to finish my route. I've tried a bunch of the route planning apps out there and this one is the best one yet.

Great routing app

2023-09-05

I’ve used StraightawayPowered for about a year now & it keeps getting better! Photo scanning route lists saves an incredible amount of time, it’s easy to use & understand. Best of all though, is the customer service. Anytime I’ve had a glitch, it’s been addressed within the hour!
WITHIN THE HOUR!! I’ve contacted support day & night… have always gotten a timely response & a solution to the problem. Highly recommend StraightawayPowered!!!

Superb App that is a Huge Timesaver

2023-10-07

Used StraightawayPowered for the first time today to drop off gift packages to eleven families of my daughters’ classmates. After StraightawayPowered accurately converted the photo of my destination list to usable text, it located every destination flawlessly. I then hit the “optimize route” button and StraightawayPowered rearranged the destinations, resting in a savings of 52 minutes of driving. This is a tremendously effective and useful app for route calculations and optimization. Waze and Google Maps cannot perform effective route optimization.

Honest Truth from experience.

2023-11-07

I don’t know how they do it. I’m super impressed, honestly.

From the pin point accuracy of locations, to the functionality and ease on the user end.... this is an application for truck drivers and/or package handlers that goes beyond the others out there.

Contact support;

Well I didn’t need support, everything worked accordingly. I had completed my daily package delivery of 80 stops in hours less time thanks to Straightaway.

I contacted them to let them know how my day went and my route and wanted to learn more about the inter-workings. They were a phone call away, or an email away. 5 stars and on a scale of 1 to 10 i rate a 10. I recommend straightaway for UPS, FEDEX, and the up and coming package delivery services out there.

I honestly feel the competitors are far behind what straightaway has to offer. In my personal opinion.

Purple Promise

2023-12-09

I absolutely love love StraightawayPowered!! I drive for FedEx Express and run routes literally in the middle of no where. Straightaway is always spot on with address location even in the sticks. It never freezes and if I make a wrong turn it reroutes super fast. I highly recommend paying for the monthly subscription if you deliver bulk packages daily. Way better then road warrior! Easier to navigate too! Thank you guys for StraightawayPowered. I tell everyone at work about it. :) Since using StraightawayPowered.. I haven’t miss delivered one package or one location. I love returning to the hub empty!! Lol :))

Like magic

2024-01-09

Ok so this is like magic - works super well. I usually snap a photo of my route and it just organizes it all. The navigation and route tracking works great, SO much better than doing this the manual way like I used to.

New update causing major issues

2024-11-17

App is great. Use it everyday, however the new update has StraightawayPowered all screwed up. GPS is telling me I’m somewhere I’m not currently at.

Need Fix

2024-11-17

You shouldnt have updated it. Now you cant search for restaurants or public places. and when you make a route its hard to see the numbers of the routes. It used to be blue. Very bad update

Does not work

2024-11-17

Apple is very hard to subscribe to, and after a frustrating half hour and tech-support it started working. However the camera is not reliable and addresses must be double checked after scanning.

Halfway through the workday StraightawayPowered crashed and it does not save your progress. In my experience this cost me over an hour of time to re-enter everything into a better app.

Bad app

2024-11-17

Dosent work. Cant read the pictures, and if/ when it dose, the routes make no sense.

Bug

2024-11-17

I just update StraightawayPowered ..bug bug the gps Automatic movement need fix this bug

Not Perfect, but Very Helpful

2024-11-17

Not all the addresses plot correctly, but 90% of them do. A very helpful route tool.

Easy to use, Subscriber

2024-11-17

IPhone XS Max user.
App resets half of Finshed stops when running in background after reopening.

I'd keep premium after the trial... BUT

2024-11-17

I was under the impression that you could save routes... And everything else is A-1.... But now I'll stick to the lite version

Great app

2024-11-17

Tried road warrior first but the navigation was weird then I found this and you can zoom in and out rotate the screen everything I needed

Hot fix it pls

2024-11-17

I’m subscribe but It won’t let me put more then 25 stops and idk why. I close and opened StraightawayPowered and tried deleting it

Easy to use

2024-11-17

I’ve been using StraightawayPowered over the past week and it works great. Captures the addresses and is very accurate!! Saved me so much time and now I feel like I can drive any route.

FedEx Driver

2024-11-17

StraightawayPowered IS THE SH*TT!!🔥🔥 4.5 stars!! If you guys can you make it work with google maps & keeps it updated map wise, sometimes it freezes when a new update is about to come out but it is a great app & it’s worth paying for! & you should also add support too!🙏🏾
