Yes..and no!

I love the new logos and rebranding of this transformational program, and had high hopes for the new app. However, for those of us ALREADY on plan...it's too basic. Not being able to change the times when recording fuelings (or to be able to edit times already recorded) is problematic. As a person already using the plan, I want the app to track not just WHEN I eat (which is all it can do, at this point), but to track weights/measures of Lean and Green meals, and to record WHICH Optavia fuelings I eat, much like other food trackers (Weight Watchers, MyFitnessPal, etc). There needs to be a way to skip over beginning, basic material, for veterans, and get to the "meatier" parts of the plan in this app. I am disappointed, so far, with what the app CURRENTLY can do, but am holding out that in future updates, all users' feedback will result in greater functionality!

Just started and I see the flaws

Downloaded the app four days ago, and setup everything. Was super excited to use the app. It said that it was going to start tracking my meals and water the next day.... But I wasn't starting the program for three more days. Now my tracker is off, and I can't restart it.... Second issue. In the setup, you set the times for when your meals are. Which is great for the work week. But on the weekends, I'm not waking up at 5:30 A.M. So my first meal isn't at 6 A.M. the need to add something onto the meals times, that allows you to update the time according to when you eat it. I shouldn't have edit my whole thing, just to reset it Sunday night.

Great potential

I’m excited to see Optavia developing an app! It would be a great way to track your progress if it were a bit more customizable. I’m on 5&1 and I don’t like that the app locks you into specific times to eat. Every day is different therefore the app should allow you to track your own time, that way you would get a more accurate evaluation of your progress. Also, I’m surprised that after only 2-8 oz glasses of water the app congratulated me on meeting my daily water goal. I’ve been told from day one that this program requires a lot more than 16 oz of water! It would also be nice to have the dining out guide as well as a condiments and healthy fats guide on this app. Also a place to type in what specific fuelings you ate and your L&G meal ingredients would be helpful. I love Optavia and was excited about the app but I don’t see myself using it very often. I will go back to my old fashioned paper and pen method bc I feel it is more accurate and I get a more clear picture of exactly what went in my mouth that day.
